jihyun, or hyun, is what you may call a two-sided girl crush. she has two very different sides to her, the fierce and swaggy one on stage, while her other side is her super-cute and naive side.

she’s very hard-working and loves dancing, so she makes the stage feel like it’s her last one and gives her all in every performance. due to her dancing and rapping skills, she has this fierce, charismatic, and swaggy feel to her. she’s also a bit competitive at times as she aspires to do well and support her family and give happiness to her fans.

offstage, she’s a little cute panda or koala that loves her friends and can be super cute! she does aegyo, fanservice, and more if she’s offstage!

she’s also super caring and very very compassionate to her friends, and tries to be the best trainee and friend that she could ever be. she also is the one who gives a lot of cute fanservice to fans, making her a fan-favorite.

overall, she’s a girl who you would think is swaggy, fierce, charismatic and is a girl-crush. but, she’s a really sweet and cute girl underneath all that swag that’s kept on stage!

BACKGROUND ;

jihyun was born in berlin, germany. her father was german, earning her foreign looks, though she lived in germany most of her life, she love korean culture. she was always fascinated by it, and soon waned to become someone who would entertain people.

she studied extremely hard to get an early scholarhsip to korea, and was able to go to korea at the extremely age of 13. also, due to her natural talent for dancing, and hard dancing lessons in germany, she was able to become a small back - up dancer in yg. there, she learned abot charisma and rap, and even became a model for their brand, which led her even farther into her dream.

after realising that yg may not let her debut at all, she left the company in hopes to find another company that would let her debut. during that time, she practiced even harder and started composing songs. sadly, she was a top student, but due to her goal, her grades had lowered down for 90s - 100s to 85s - 90s only. though it hurt her quite a bit, it didn’t bring her down.

soon, she found out about a company made by two former yg artists. she really wanted to join, but auditions weren’t held yet which discouraged her a bit. she passed by there almost everyday, and one day, a staff finally noticed her passing by and due to her unique looks, she introduced her to the ceos. she finally auditioned and showed her talents to them which led her to where she is now, about to debut in a highly awaited girl group.
