  12. We’re reaching out to notify you that as of today, you will notice significant changes in the functionality provided to you by Dwolla’s web and mobile application. For full details on the changes, please review the FAQ for Personal accounts.

  14. As a reminder, the changes only apply to payments made inside Dwolla’s branded mobile and web applications for Personal accounts. Changes do not apply to transactions made through an ecommerce checkout or a third-party integration.

  16. Please take some time to carefully review the details below. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have.

  18. What won't I be able to do within Dwolla’s web and mobile applications?
  19.  
  20. After today, your Personal account can still be used to:
  21.  
  22. Make a payment when money is requested from you
  23. Receive and ‘Withdraw’ funds when money is sent to you
  24. Make purchases from businesses, nonprofits or governments using Dwolla’s ecommerce checkout flow
  25. Monitor your application permissions, pay through third-party applications, and grant access to new applications
  26. Access your account history
  27. After today, the following account features will be removed from your dashboard and mobile applications.

  29. The ‘Add money’ button
  30. The ‘Send’ or ‘Request’ buttons
  31. The ability to create and collect payments via your Hub page and Dwolla Forms.
  32. Please review our FAQ to learn more about additional features that may or may not be impacted.

  34. Transitioning to mobile.Dwolla.com

  36. Dwolla has removed its mobile apps from their respective app stores. A similar mobile experience is live and available today at mobile.Dwolla.com. We suggest heavy users of the Dwolla app replace it with a pinned shortcut to their mobile home screen.

  38. What will happen to pending transactions?
  39.  
  40. If you have sent money to someone, and that transaction is marked as pending, it will still clear as usual. However, as of today, you will not be able to initiate another transaction.
  41. Dwolla will honor scheduled payments or recurring requests until cancelled or their scheduled end-date, if created prior to December 7, 2016. After December 7, 2016, Personal accounts will be unable to schedule payments or recurring requests.

  44. We have worked diligently with our partners to offer suitable alternatives to some of the functionality we’re removing.
