The Flow

The Flow.

The Flow is home to many phenomena, and itself is the over-reaching presence, that fills the world, both granting access to magic, but also housing the stuff of souls, and memories. It is what covers the world in it's entirety, but exists in another dimension altogether. The Flow is something everyone is bound to in some way, except the undead, the actually dead, or other similar fiends. The Flow is as said, a dimension of its own, composed of multiple realms, and filled with many beings.

Upon death, one is taken to the Flow, their spirit, either maintained in a coorperal form, as one of the Soul Power subjects, or simply continues to drift on. Memories and Life are the two bases of the Flow, these two "streams" forming its very foundation. However one must realize these two while separate mostly,  cannot be perceived or used as such. No living being has been recorded as entirely capable of telling, and using them separately, bar the First Child.
