  1. Jump 194: Captain Planet
  2. >Three of Pentacles (Works): Using the conventional as a medium for expressing the exceptional, in order to build something of great renown and glory.
  3. >Age: 800
  4. >Location: London
  5. >Identity: Planet Spirit (-300)
  6. >Affinity: City (Civilization)
  7. After all, when you think 'civilization', what do you think of? Towns and cities.
  8. >Drawbacks: Invocation (+100), What Kind Of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway? (+200), Competence (+200)
  9. Look, ma, I'm Gaia except even more self-parodying! I'm going to have all of this power and DO NOTHING WITH IT EVER. God I hope the Planeteers aren't just total idiots- wait, if the villains are competent, why are they still selling nukes to Hitler? Holy shit, is Dr. Blight a fucking Nazi!? Suddenly it all makes sense...
  10. >Domain: Technology
  11. Yeah I'll be using some alternate elements for this. Electricity and fuel are, arguably, redundant... among other issues.
  12. >Sanctum Sanctorum (Free, Planet Spirit)
  13. Well, at least this way I'm not some sort of city-spirit lingering like a bum in an alley. Which would actually be rather hilarious, come to think about it.
  14. >Why I Chose You (Free, Planet Spirit)
  15. And at a glance I can see whether someone would fit the powers I want to grant them or not. Which is useful, especially if I can grant alternately-themed powers, in time.
  16. >Search The World (1100, Planet Spirit)
  17. Oh, so I can search through anything that fits my domain for people who fit those traits? Isn't that handy.
  18. >Call the Champions++ (600, Planet Spirit)
  19. Sure, my people can't call Captain Civilization after this jump (or can they even call him during this jump at all?), but I'm keeping everything else and... well, let's just say I'm going to have fun hanging out a half dozen rings at a time in the jumps to come.
  20. >Fancy Purple Dress (Free, Planet Spirit)
  21. Actually a dapper modern suit, but potayto, potahto, either way you can boil 'em smash 'em stick 'em in a stew.
  22. >Blank Ring (400)
  23. Hey, they said I can't give myself a ring. They never said I can't BUY myself a ring. No one will see this coming when my sanctum inevitably gets invaded! Until I shout my intentions and they see it coming.
  24. >Calling All Planeteers+ (0)
  25. Not only will I be sharing these powers with my companions, I paid the surcharge for them to KEEP them.
  26.
  27. Honestly? This is going to be campy as hell. I'm going to go bother the local Gaia with my Gaia and have tea and biscuits, and when Captain Planet and Captain Pollution clash (repeatedly, because you know this is going to happen) I'm going to see to it that Captain Civilization has his say. And I'm going to mock Cap for his puns whenever I possibly can, oh yes. While announcing that I'm mocking him. Because I announce everything.
  28.
  29. Also, I'm pretty sure that summoning Captain Civilization to deal with eco-terrorists who are in the city is a valid option. It'll never be the top biller, but when it's time for a Very Special Episode (the ones about drugs and HIV come to mind) there'll be much to be said there too.
  30.
  31. Meanwhile Cultist-Chan, who was a Temmie last jump, get the element of Curiosity. I don't even know how that works but it is guaranteed NOT to end well, even if it is hilarious.
