  1. The days, months, and possible years just seemed to blur together, there was no real way to tell time in this place; the otherworldly being had no idea or recollection much of what had happened all this time ago. As soon as she crash landed the dark skinned beauty and her offspring were all seized and taken into this place, of course she fought them off the best that she could. But being slightly disoriented and a bit to wounded it was a loosing fight that ended with her passing out to her limits. Now she was here, in constant pain and exhaustion from the constant tests, such things should never be done to any being, she was learning quickly that human's were very cruel beings. Slightly growing to hate them, a despise of never wanting to see such another thing like this ever again if she was going to ever be able to leave this place. They had tried to alter her DNA a few times, and it back fired as she ended up killing a few of them, but now she was locked in some stupid human high tech equipment to keep her from being able to shit. Laying down on a table as she felt them stitching up her stomach after they wanted to see inside, since she had so many extra organs, and even reproduction systems. It was set up in case such things that happened to her race, being the last one from her planet aside from her eggs, the rest of them she watched being obliterated by those blasted aliens ended every ounce of life on her home world Atheria, there was nothing left, but a desolate dead planet. She had just come into her own, but her parents would fight to their last breath to give her and the rest of their race an ability to flea and save what bit they had left. Golden tears fell past her purple hues, just as they finished up the last stitch "Alright, get subject 201 back into it's holding cell, we are finished with this one, and is no more use for the day" one scientist told the guards. They yanked her right up by her white long locks as they chuckled and clapped her back into the cuffs that stopped any shifting of hers from happening. Soon they would be cleared to leave the examination room, and started to head down a long corridor towards the jailed holding cells, that were designed to be perfectly escape proof. Her skin though would lighten and shift a bit into a fairer completion, as people tended to treat her a bit better when he skin was lighter, but she did adore her natural color, but needed the favor more as she was promised to see her babies once they had what they needed to know of her. Of course though by this point she didn't trust them, and wondered if her little lives were doing well at all or even any left at all. She herself never really knew how the whole egg thing worked as it was her mother's job to deal with that, and before her true coronation to the thrown her mother promised to tell her how it worked. All that was lost the day they invaded and her whole world was lost and all those she loved and called her family, a few more golden tear kept slipping past as the memories started to flood her mind. She wanted out of here badly, and needed to figure out a way to do so, otherwise she and the rest of her children will be lost forever and she couldn't live with herself if this was to happen.
  2.
  3. This was the end for if she didn't keep her mind focused, shaking the thoughts off of her home world, to focus on her present predicament, was the most nessacary thing to do. There had to be a way out of this, but every time she tried it was useless, little did she know that walking down this hall way it would all change for the better. Suddenly it went completely dark and her guards were on high alert, she too stayed that way, waiting for the perfect time to strike them down. Then the loud noise of an alarm bell finally began to ring and she knew there wasn't much time at all left to make a break for things, but before dhe could leave there was one thing she had to know, where her eggs were. Usually she could feel them, but in this place it was created in such away unless one was ten feet from something else communication was completely gone."Get her to her cell now!" One of the guards yelled at the other, but just as the other was about to drag her off much more quickly while the other gave him cover. There it was, the perfect distraction, but as soon as that particular predator came around the corner she knew she couldn't let him get killed. He had to be her way out, so dispite just having fresh stitches being freshly placed, she would swiftly swipe one of their knifes and slit the throat of one of the guards that was closest to her. Before a swift movement as her hands clung to the one falling her legs moved quickly up and around the other's neck twisting and breaking it before then both just dropped to the ground. Her eyes having shifted red as landed in a squatting motion, a simple cloth covering her private womanly bits, while her long white locks drapped down over her breasts.Shifting her hand to the guard's body she would drag out the keys and then looked at Rujen, lightly motioning to the keys and to her wrists. As the cuffs kept her hands stationary and she was unable to actually set herself free. "I am Rashi Yanase, last standing Queen of Atheria" she introduced herself to him, knowing that he didn't look to well in shape from these creatures of this world had done unto him. "I need to find them, my eggs, they are the last of my people....and I can not leave here without them, where is the control room of this place?" She asked just as those hues of hers changed to a ethereal looling bluish green color. Indicating her conncer and worry over them, it was the only thing on her mind as her own safety was up for grabs, but they were not. Hearing voices and the sounds of boots coming she would panic slightly, her eyes darting around as she found of all things a supply closet.Swiftly opening it and pushing the huge guy and herself inside, quite the strength for a female at that. And quickly, but quietly shutting the door, trying to think of what to do. Voices could be heard "Break up and search for them! And make sure to not allow anyone to infiltrate the outpost! If she is free she'll be looking for her eggs! And get that damn predator back, alive if you can, but dead is fine! But i want the woman back alive!" A commanding voice yelled out. Her eyes shifting to a dark glowing crimson red as she resisted the urge to dart out the door and slaguhter every one of them, knowing she would need someone to guide her to them. "I don't make it a habit of asking for help, but I can't get them back alone....who knows how many of them are gone...those basterds will pay for this all" she spoke as quietly in a universal tongue that she knew he would easily understand. As well as needing her blade back, that in an of itself had special properties and allowed her as the rightful heir to her world to take that leading stance back, and it was her most favorite weapon. She knew she rememebered walking past it, but from there she had no idea how to get it, waiting until it was completely quiet she would slowly open the door and peek out making sure it was clear before slowly stepping out couching a bit lowly.[E]

  5. Rujen was ready to slaughter them all. That included the female prisoner. Normally he wouldn't do such a thing, but escape was the only thing on his mind. Whoever got in his way was just cannon fodder. Once things calmed down, he'd figure out what to do next. His hand clenched on the weapon as he readied to draw it up and spray the hallway with bullets. Instead it looked like the female captive became active. The hunter still could have shot up the rest of them and kept going, but the scene he witnessed gave him pause. Guess he wouldn't need to use the weapon, for now. When she addressed him, the male's mandibles moved with a light clicking sound. His yellowish green gaze regarded her in observation and whether or not to actually help her. She may have saved his life, may have, but he could teeter the other direction and claim it as timing, maaaaaybe help. He was fully capable of taking those guards out, now that he had his own mind and body back. He wouldn't fall for stupid tricks ever again. Her title and eggs meant nothing to him, though he wasn't completely heartless. Her kind was rare, rare enough that he'd never heard of them. A possible prize well sought too, if what she did was just a hint of what was to come. When it came down to it though, escape was back on the table. Dying to extinct breed or not, he wanted OUT of this place. He rolled his shoulder then and his grip adjusted on the gun. The sound of footfalls caught his attention and he'd hold back a clicking purr sound. Finally time to get his hands dirty. The female was about to hide and that was fine with him. Rujen would meet this head on-errr or not. He was suddenly going backwards and his clawed feet clacked and scratched at the floor. He'd growl at her, his mandibles threatening to flare out as he suddenly stopped in the closet. Rujen was tempted to shove her off to the side and go back out, instead his hand came up to his chest as he felt a pang against his sternum. He knew nothing was in there, but the feeling wasn't one to forget easily. His body was still healing and he couldn't exert himself much further. He was so pumped on leaving that he'd forgotten a few things. Even his breathing was starting to carry a rattling wheeze to it. The location of his biomask was unknown to him, just as the 'control room' Rashi asked about earlier. If he had his equipment, he'd be able to map and hack into this place with ease. When the oomans passed by and she finally opened the door, he stepped back out into the walkway. Once more freed to leave her behind, the yautja started to move away from Rashi then paused. Finally decision time... "Follow...Outpost." Rujen's voice sounded like gravel. There was a chance that tracking the larger group of oomans would lead them where they needed to go.
  6.
  7. As it turned out, the power being abruptly cut was no accident. Though the prisoners held inside may or may not have been in close enough proximity to hear, the peacefulness of the night was shattered by a sudden flash of blue-white light, followed by an explosion. WHOOM. A fireball rose into the sky from the shattered remains of the building which had once housed the facility's main generators. Backup generators were quick to kick in, alarms sounding with the return of power, but not quick enough to prevent crucial security systems failing. Which was exactly what Dachande had been counting on. He'd discovered the interesting ooman encampment a week prior, which didn't seem to be connected to the other one nearby which he'd learned was called "Rowan." Curious as to its purpose, the yautja had observed the comings and goings of its staff, the vehicles which they used. And quickly come to the realization that they appeared to be bringing various types of dangerous creatures into storage of some kind. Immediately the experienced hunter had felt his maws spread in excitement beneath his face mask. Such a place would be a prime opportunity to hunt creatures worthy of his prowess. If he could find a way to crack this proverbial egg, that is. So had begun the planning of his attack. It hadn't taken him long to pinpoint the main source of the facility's power and determine the best way to destroy it. Doing so would cause chaos within, probably allow some of the imprisoned creatures to escape as well. Providing the hunter a perfect opportunity to gain access. Now his patience was finally paying off. Dachande watched as guards streamed outside, shouting in their strange language to each other, pointing their guns into the forest surrounding the fence. Their confusion and anxiety palpable as none were able to spot the cloaked yautja observing them from above. He waited a moment longer, until none of their lines of sight overlapped in a particular spot... Then jumped into the fray. Loud if orderly voices turned into shrill screams of pain and fear as Dachande tore into the oomans. He impaled the first from behind, a gout of blood erupting from the unfortunate guards chest, then ripped him open from the base of his back to neck. Covering his nearest comrades in a wash of crimson. Those nearest gaped at the sight. Other men reacted impressively quickly; they leveled their guns and opened fire. But he was already gone. Moving among the oomans like an invisible butcher, utilizing only his wristblades to send arms, legs and heads dropping to the ground, usually followed by their screaming or dead owners. Two dozen had responded to the alarms by rushing outside, and it took as many seconds before all of them were dead. Leaving the doors which they'd exited from open. Dachande gave a little huff of disappointment. All these ones had died far too easily, none worth taking a trophy from. Hopefully there was more worthy prey inside. With that thought in mind the Elite entered the facility, moving down the corridors in a light trot, his cloaking field flickering as he sought better things to kill.
  8.
  9. This was not something she wanted to occur, nor was keeping a predator such as a yautja around was ideal, but he walked in at the perfect timing and it made for a decent and somewhat easier escape, once those stupid cuffs were gone and she was free to finally shift and even was able to use her magic. This too of course was mood dependent and she was hot and fiery with rage at these idiots for such atrocities that they had committed against her and what was left of her bloodline and no longer would she stand for such things. Though the big guy wasn't seeming to be doing much better himself, of course she ignored his protesting over being shoved in a closet as those that ran by were attempting to capture them once again; plus she needed his help and of the stories that her mother had told her. Rashi knew better than to be on the wrong end of him, and it would be an easier escape from this place with his help, she was surprised that her strength was starting to return to her as quickly as it had been, then again the ability to heal was something that was done much easier when not bound up by strange devices that these beings seemed to make. A deep breath left her lips as she was uncertain of what to do exactly or even how to begin to get off this damned planet, one of the very last places she ever wanted to go. If the stupid gravitational pull of the place hadn't veered her off course she would of be safe as the eggs on a distant planet void of the knowledge of the ones who took her home from her before hand. Though having ignored his growling she placed a hand to her lips telling him to be quiet, as her eyes shifted once again, as her ears honed in on the voices until they were gone enough and she gave a slight scoff at him as she noticed he was clutching his chest."Don't be foolish..you've not even healed up yet" she told him simply as she waited long enough to leave out of the closet that kept them from that running horrid of creatures, though the other's that seemed to be managing their escapes seemed to be enjoying themselves. As they to seemed to have a vendetta against these people and all of their silly and stupid experiments. Once they stepped out of the closet, she lingered there for a few seconds as he seemed to be moving to leave her behind, but then his graveled voice caught her attention, of course she didn't need to be told twice on something, so she would follow behind him. Her ears keeping slightly perked with their lovely pointed tips, and her eyes staying pealed, at least they were until she felt something so familiar to her, she had to have it back. Her blade, a smirk danced over her lips as she couldn't help it and move ahead of the yautja, and would quickly spot it, but it was in a hard plexiglas type material inside of what looked to be a impenetrable room. At least it seemed that way, before a very swift and hard kick came up of hers, and it went right though the glass as her eyes shifted to a unearthly bright colored blue, "enough playing around hetia" she called and suddenly the sword turned into a snake like creature before shattering the box around it and slithered itself up her arm and around her neck. Soon her body was again covered in a black protective amour, that hugged her every curve tightly, keeping the vital organs safe while the rest she could easily sacrifice if needed; and her hair was pulled back into a long pony tail. Taking another glance inside, she would spot a few things, "those belong to you do they not?" she asked the big guy she was sure would be next to her at this point. Then suddenly the sounds of pure screaming could be heard, as if someone was trying to break into this place, who would be daft enough to want to break in, while they were trying to break out. But she cared not that the lower life forms were dying, she cared only for getting out and finding those eggs of hers and off this rock, but that last one may take time in accomplishing that, for now she would stick close to Rujen; even if he didn't seem to thrilled with it.[E]
  10.
  11. Had he known another hunter had been involved in this situation, he would have praised him. Just..There'd be the question HOW Rujen got caught. It was one's duty to make absolutely sure it never happened, but there was some things that couldn't be helped. He'd have to lie on the spot for sure. For now, the thought of running into another yautja wasn't there, yet. Rujen was tasked in figuring out where this outpost was. Without his gear, he'd have to rely on his senses. Those too had been dulled some since he was 'cured'. Not that he really needed them, but they would have helped in this situation. It felt like he was under a layer of cotton that muffled his hearing and sense of smell. His sight was rather limited too and he'd have to get use to it again quickly. Still armed with the gun, his clawed feet carried him silently down the hallway. Years of training had given the big guy a good bit of stealth. Cloaking helped alot, but so long as he wasn't spotted, one wouldn't know he was there. Another growl escaped him when he was told not to be foolish. He wasn't. His kind thrived on challenges...But...One had to be tactful too and not just jump in. So the sound was more out of annoyance than anger. The other creatures were the least of his concerns unless they became hostile. The hunter huffed as he 'sniffed' the air. It was a developed habit too which needed to stop. It wouldn't do much good save for aggravate his breathing some. Rujen wouldn't cough, but the rattle had become more obvious. So far they were in the clear, but he kept his guard up. When Rashi walked past him, he would look upon what got her attention. The enclosed weapons room was soon freed with a swift, queenly kick. She with her blade while he...Looked at the various others that belonged to different races. Not a whole lot, but enough to know the oomans had a mini exhibit going on here. When she pointed out his gear, he'd walk over to that display and start collecting his things. One of he first was his helmet which was clicked into place. His sights activated and his hearing increased as well. Rujen's focus went to the ceiling as he seemed to be following something. There was something alright, stealthfully traveling through the ducts. He'd quickly lock his gauntlets into place and open the control one. A few swipes from a claw and a map appeared in his visor. Already a quiet pulse gave him the layout of this place and their destination popped up. Another pulse gave him various lifeforms millowing about as well, though it was the dead that got his attention. So many dead... He'd pinpoint on the other hunter and curse quietly under his breath. Rujen was sure he'd be in trouble for this. "Gkaun-yte." He'd greet Dachande through the speakers of his helmet. Hiding that he was here wasn't going to do anything. Afterwards he'd quickly get the rest of his stuff on before looking back to Rashi. "Careful." The voice this time was part of a recording. "Hunter./i>" He warned further. Rujen was unsure of how this new fellow was going to act with all the chaos going on.
  12.
  13. As he made his way deeper and deeper into the hallways of the place, Dachande felt his irritation and frustration growing with every corner rounded, every doorway stepped through. He was sure that he'd finally find something which could satiate his appetite for glory, sure that at least the oomans of this place would be a different kind of breed from the others he'd seen. One would think they'd have to be to deal with such dangerous beings. But no, all the hunter encountered fell easily to his blade. Further aggravating him were the corpses of some escapees he'd passed which looked as though they'd present a far greater challenge in hand-to-hand combat. Dachande's favored area of expertise. Yet the oomans had seen fit to deny him even this, gunning the various aliens and monsters down from afar before they even had a chance to use their physical abilities to full advantage. What a waste. So he killed, and killed, and still felt unfulfilled. Eventually the Elite came across some kind of security terminal, whose defenses were easily bypassed through the use of his wristgauntlet's capabilities. A layout of the building's interior was among the files he found. After studying it and the other bits of data, he determined there was some kind of storage area not too far from his current position... Along with an unpleasant discovery. Another yautja had somehow been captured by the oomans, it seemed. Surely the momentary loss of power would have given ample opportunity for an escape. Dachande bet the other hunter was headed for that room to reclaim his armor and weapons; it's what the Elite would've done after all. So he took that way as well. Indeed, the two escapees had scarcely donned their gear and Rujen given the warning when the strange distorted figure of the cloaked predator slipped into the room. Then was suddenly visible as he deactivated the cloak while walking towards Rujen. "Gkaun-yte, kv'var-de," Dachande said as he put a hand on the injured yautja's shoulder and shook it. The greeting fairly casual considering their surroundings... And the fact that the other had been captured. But this was neither the time nor place for reprimands. "Jehdin Dachande." Then he turned his head towards the smaller of the two, and tilted it quizzically at Rashi. Obviously wondering what she was doing hanging so comfortably around Rujen. Though to his credit, he didn't immediately try to claim her head, figuring that some kind of arrangement must have been made between the two. But now that the hunters had met up, they would be more than capable of getting out without help, so... "Yin'tekai amedha?" he asked while casually ejecting the blades on his right wrist, still covered in ooman blood. Asking his fellow yautja if this one would make for worthy prey.
  14.
  15.
  16. Once her blade had clothed her in her proper attire, it would shift back to it's natural state of it's dark black colored double edged sword, before a slight twirl of it and slipping it right back into it's sheath, at her she was starting to feel more like herself again as time past she could feel that her body was regaining the strength that was robbed from it. Rashi was uncertain what exactly these test had done to her body, but knowing she was not going to be able to take much more of it, she was glad that however this all started she was escaping from this wrenched place. She was planning to leave the entire place a lovely gift after all they left her with plenty of scars, mostly physical and a few mental ones; it was only right to return the favor to those that dared do such things.Though after her fair warning to Rujen for not being foolish at rushing into things, she would give a light chuckle at his annoyance, but she let it slide as she knew that she was right about it, she herself wasn't planning on pushing herself to hard either. She was still healing, but much faster now that she was freed from her imprisonment of the cuffs, it allowed her body's natural ability to heal quickly to take over the slow painful process that those creatures wanted her to endure. She would watch on as Rujen gathered his things, keeping a look out just in case any of the other people around wanted to come their direction, though they wouldn't get to far now adored with the one thing that helped her in any situation. Her hetia, it was the only heirloom she would ever have that her mother too adored, but now she kept it close with her hand gently setting against it as she waited for this yautja, to get what they would need to find those eggs. Her mind swirling with concern as her eyes just couldn't seem to decide on one color or another. Closing them a moment as she tried to take a deep breath and remain calm, but it was difficult, but they would quickly shoot open at Rujen's words, as if she didn't have enough deal with as of yet. There was another one, was he the one breaking in? well that would actually explain a lot, but also add the danger to her, but she wasn't going to be out done, by such a thing, but she would heed his words to be careful. No sooner did he say that did the other join them in the somewhat collection of a weapon's room, she would keep her words to herself as the two of them seemed to greet each other so casually, but once she noticed the other's gaze turned to her, and those blades exposed, she would take a bit more of a defensive position.Yet, she drew not her blade from it's sheath, but her hand at the ready if she needed to protect herself, she would not be the one to ever strike first, as one learned quite a bit from one that did, and she wasn't planning on giving away anything to them that was not earned by trust.[E]
  17.
  18. He wouldn't show any sign of weakness or fear when Dachande showed up and greeted him. The pain in his chest had subsided some and his breathing was getting better. So long as the mask remained on for a bit, he'd recover quicker. "Rujen." He returned. Dachande...He's heard that name before. It made him suddenly feel anxious, like someone meeting a celebrity. It's a good thing he had more tact and didn't just blurt something stupid out. He's never seen the elite hunter himself, only heard stories and rumors about him. Now here he was, standing before him and...Could yautja be giddy? If they could, he wasn't showing any of it outwardly. Gotta keep that cool and all. Once the other hunter's attention veered to Rashi, Rujen became more focused. This was what he meant by careful. Not all hunters just up and helped other beings. There wasn't much of an agreement holding these two together. He could just tell Dachande yes and step aside. What 'eggs' the queen was talking about could be taken and maybe raised another way or simply used as trophy case decor. He honestly had no reason to keep her around, but... He'd shake his head. "M-di mar'ct. Lou-dte kale." He probably just insulted Rashi, but he was trying to convince Dachande she wasn't worth killing. Though with the armor and sword...Yeah his convincing wasn't going to go very well. He could have said that she was a rare warrior queen, which could make her more of a sought out prize. "Children. Outpost." So continued convincing she was a mother type it was. Lingering in here too long would draw more humans for sure, not that the three of them couldn't take them out. They were just giving these people ample time to do something to the eggs.
  19.
  20.
  21. The description of the warrior queen earned another quizzical tilt of the head as he peered at her through the dark eye-holes of his face mask. This one was a child bearer? Yet she was armed and armored, as though for combat. Perhaps that was simply a matter of circumstance though. Well, if she were to bear more of her kind and if they were strong, that would create only more opportunities to earn glory. Certainly worth employing patience for now. That was one thing Dachande excelled at. "Ki'sei," he acknowledged as he sheathed his wristblades, then tapped a few buttons on his wrist gauntlet. Above its lacquered surface a small holo-projection flared to life, showing a map of the surrounding area's terrain. On it about ten miles away was a blinking dot with the yautja symbol for "landing craft" emblazoned next to it. The Elite's ship. He made the hand signal for "come" and pointed to the ship again for emphasis. The meaning clear: When Rujen finished up whatever business he had with the oomans (for to expunge the stain on his honor would require no less than absolute vengeance), Dachande wanted the other hunter to visit. Another few taps of the gauntlet and the map disappeared, along with the yautja as his cloaking field activated again. "N'dhi-ja, Rujen. Thar'n-da s' yin'tekai." And with that, he was gone, bounding back out into the corridors still in search of prey. Clearly he wished to hunt alone, for the time being; there just weren't enough trophies to go around, unfortunately.
