BACKGROUND
🍓 LAURA was born in seoul, south korea to a korean mother and a mexican father. just when she's two years old, the family of three packed up their belongings and moved to los angeles, california. as a child, LAURA was always lulled to sleep by both her parents' singing voices. as she grows older, she starts to pick up an interest in singing and began taking vocal lessons and participate in competitions. LAURA also have a unique singing voice that's different from the others. her singing voice is rather deep and silky, and a tad bit husky but in a more elegant, feminine way. in 2014, LAURA joined the SM ENTERTAINMENT worldwide audition in LA and got accepted. she trained there for three years until 2016 but stopped her training due to her poor performance on her monthly evaluation. she continued laying low and continued high school and auditioned for RIAN ENTERTAINMENT in 2018.
