- "Long ago in kingdoms lost
- Dragons walked the Earth
- Fiery monsters of destruction
- Chaos followed them
- Destroyers of man, to aid
- Apophosis' mirth
- Great heroes fought to remove them
- Risking life and limb
- King of Darkness ruled them all
- Hate his only berth
- Until one day, sealed away
- At Ammon's holy whim."
- - Popular Children's poem from 'Magical Limericks"
- "Long ago, before a time of law and order, before security and happiness was found in the great cities of man, chaos ruled much of the face of Nefetria. Though in those days, there was much more to fear than just the grand pit fiends or the snake women of the plains. In those days, many a strange beast walked the planet, but none stranger than the drake! Large, scaled, able to breath the very elements of the world, and often with wings, these monsters were agents of chaos; evil itself! Among all the dragons of the world, none were more powerful than the King of Darkness, so called for his midnight scales. Under him were four other great drakes of fire, lightning, ice, and venom.
- However, father Ammon blessed this world with brave heroes, men and elves and Sahkra and Jazora who fought with the beasts. One by one the the drakes were slain, even the great four. Finally, Ammon's holy paladins were able to slay their king, putting an end to him once and for all! They tossed his defeated body deep within the world, that it may rot in the deep away from the holy lands of our father in heaven."
