Fighting Zombies+Worm

[16:22:49] Rosaline kept close to those familiar to her as she travelled alongside her new group; particularly, Akroma and Chloe. Her comrades had seen her in both her weakest and her strongest times -- she had to have faith in them. Not being the leader came with a strange feeling, but trust was easily maintained in Diana.

"Something bad is here, for sure." Under her breath, a tiny prayer is murmured, "Kraus be with us."

Her hand, clad in a thick leather glove, rests on the pommel of Anguirel all the while.

"Keep your eyes open for anything suspicious."

[16:44:09] Rosaline doesn't stray from the group. Comfort is found in numbers, but she keeps distance well enough to safely light a fire to guide them. A metallic hand is thrust up into the air, glimmering with the tongues of a strong flame.

When they finally reach an opening, Rosaline stops. Her first instinct is to explore, but something holds her back. This is not a normal place. Fear and memories of the repercussions of being too curious strike her, and her stare moves over to Chloe.

"Be careful what you touch," she begins, "you never know what is in here."

Her stare finally lands on the man resting near the eastern wall. Rosaline makes her way towards it with haste, but not once does her hand leave her blade.

"Someone is over here," she calls, motioning for someone to help, "do not touch him."

When Chloe makes her way over, gravity's thrall on the man reverses. He's lifted up into the air by some invisible force, held for all to see...

[16:53:32] "That's disgusting," Rosaline manages with a wrinkled nose, but her lift on the man is unwavering. "Someone get him some water. Does anyone have tweezers? There's a bugger in his cheek."

She moves away, allowing the excorcists of the group to move in... But her gravity on the man is solid. It's likely he's too weak to stand on his own, so he is kept at head-level, barely levitating off of the ground.

"Be careful with him..."

[17:13:10] Rosaline flinches with the sudden progression of the man's disfigurement. She takes a jarring step backwards, and with a violent flick of her hand...

..the man drops to the ground. Gravity is immense upon him, and a sickly crackling emnates from his body as bones snap and organs are compressed. Whatever fluids remain outside of his body bubble out of the orifices and gaping holes his rotting tissue provides, and once he is dead -- or at least looks the part -- he is ripped from the ground and tossed away with no regard.

"He's out of his misery."

Rosaline draws Anguirel with no further hesitation. An upwards shove of her heels lands her in the air, and her free arm, covered in the scales of a chimera, begins to blaze with the flames of Ifrit. The fire grows and roars, and the stagnant, corrupted air of the cave begins to whirl and twist to shape the form of Ifrit's Claw. The flames and winds surround Rosaline in a magnificent display.

"Hold no mercy for the depraved beings, and know that when you smite them from this world, you are upholding Kraus' purpose!" she roars beyond the whirl of her wind-powered flames, "Smite them!"

[17:35:21] Rosaline's deadly barrage is unleashed upon the undead. Several fall victim to her blade, to her gravity, to the crippling force of her time. Flames attempt to eat and chew away at what meets the ground, but it is too late --

Whatever Rosaline managed to defeat twisted and bunched together, liquifying into a disgusting, acidic sludge.

She swoops down to regroup near her comrades, but they have no time to rest. Rosaline's magic rebounds tenfold when the worm comes burrowing in. Shiny, beady eyes stare down at them and Rosaline meets it with a glare of her own.

"Do not hold back!"
