The shoot for my publicity photo, huh.
Well, my looks are quite nice already so,
if I just smile, I'll manage to pull this thing.

日本茶でも飲みながらそこで見てて～！
Okay, I'll be going now and finish this right away.
You could just watch me from there and enjoy drinking tea or something!

えー。そら無理やわ。うち京女やからー。
Eh? I can't do that. After all, I was raised in Kyoto.
[ Aside from its literal meaning, 京女 (Kyoto Woman) connotes a woman who has been raised with elegance and grace. ]

は～、ほっぺたいた～い。
一生分くらい写真撮った気がするわ・・・・・・。
いざ笑えって言われるとうまく笑えないもんだねー。
Haa, my cheeks hurt.
I feel like I had my pictures taken to last my whole life...
I wouldn't be able to smile if you ask me right now.

余裕でできると思ってたんだけどなー。
まさか、愛想笑いを見抜かれるとは。
なかなかやるわー。さすが業界人。
I thought this is going to be a piece of cake.
But who would've thought he'd see through my faking a smile.
He really is good. As expected of someone who's in this kind of industry.

・・・・・・変わった？ん～、そうかな。
あたしの場合、ガンバロー、とか、ダレニモマケナイ！
みたいにならないんだけど。
Changed? Hmm, I wonder.
I won't changed into someone who goes "I'll do my best" or "I won't lose to anyone!".

多少めんどうくさくなって、
アイドルやめたいな～って思うことはあっても
次の日にはちゃんとレッスンしに事務所に来てる。
Even though I have thoughts like this is getting to be too much trouble or I want to quit being an idol,
I go to the agency and do my lessons properly the next day.

周子

そういう意味では、変わったかも。
それってあたしにとっては結構すごいことなんだよね。
If that's what you mean, then I guess I might have.
Well, that kind of thing is really something amazing for someone like me.

あたしってさ、気軽で身軽なのが好きなんだよね。
重たいのとか、めんどうくさいのとか、嫌いなんだ。
Yes, something amazing.
I like things to be easy and worry-free.
And I don't like serious or tiresome things.

けど、まぁ、ここの事務所にいると、
それも悪くないかなって思うわけ。
それってすごいじゃん？
But, well, if I'm with this agency,
I thought like those things aren't so bad at all.
Isn't that amazing?

なにより、
そういうのを分かってるプロデューサーと仕事すんのは・・・・・・
楽だし、居心地いいよ。
Best of all, I get to work with you, Producer, who knows those things.
It feels so easy and very cozy.

アイドルに向いてるかはまだわかんないけど
あたしはこんなふうに楽しく生きてられるだけで
今は十分かなって。
I still don't know if being an idol suits me or not
but being able to live enjoyably like this
is enough for me right now, I guess.

プロデューサーの力が必要だし、しっかり頑張って・・・・・・
