Every man in this world has rivals. Even kings and queens have rivals and this means, every game also has rivals as well.
This story is about the number one rivalry in Zhyper MU. A constant battle for supremacy, between the two top guild in this server, AVALON, and the remnants of Xclusive, now all forming under the emblem of TOPGUNZ.

However, things weren't always like this. In the middle of April 2010, things were still going well between AVALON and Xclusive. This was just before things started going downhill for the Xclusive alliance, formed from Xclusive, AVALON, TOPGUNZ, BerserK and WARLIKE.

This rivalry fueled up from a simple reason, and that is the constant cockiness of an important figure in the alliance. This person is also a person of high influence within the entire ZMU universe, named Finest by Server-Owner Nocturnal himself, feared and respected by even those of his own caliber. This person is MerarAra, one of the most controversial figures in ZMU.

When two specific members joined the Xclusive alliance, things got bad. These members were HudAss666 and FIGHTER. These two players have formerly insulted MerarAra's wife, Lacrimosa, which got him amazingly mad, in turn, when the two members joined the alliance, MerarAra greeted them with heart-felt flames and insults, hence causing an internal conflict to go down inside the alliance. Including previous encounters with other members, Merar had somehow managed to turn everyone against himself, yet still holding strong on the battlefield. Personal problems with Ang3l led the BerserK guild also set high-voltage between Merar and BerserK, and when FireFox accepted the membership of a former hosti and denying Merar's request of removing him, things got heated up real quick. An insignificant joke, set loose towards Lacrimosa, Merar's wife, caused him to snap away, and once he lost his temper, all chances of settling things were razed to the ground.

Two sides were formed, MerarAra's AVALON and WARLIKE, against BerserK. Forced to choose a side, Lingz and Dimex chose to remove a guild, in order to allow peace to settle in once again. That led to WARLIKE(MerarAra's guild) to be released from the alliance. But since both MerarAra and LACRiMOSA orignally belonged to AVALON, they continued to verbally and physically attack anyone who sided with HudAss666 and FIGHTER, and by that time, they had quite a lot of supporters, mostly because they shared a common enemy.

At the same time, another mildly influential figure also carried out his agendas within the guild. Asmos, having numerous issues with whoever ever crossed him, and his methods, which increased the number of flames, insults, trash-talks by a great deal. After WARLIKE had left the alliance, Asmos made his own guild, Nfaculty, which took the vacant spot within the alliance. Things went down, and after a duel with TraCerT, a BerserK member, Asmos was found guilty of usingy 3rd party software, leading to one of his characters to get temporarely banned. Seeing this happen, AVALON Guild-master Spartian, made fun of Asmos in-game, who retaliated with attacking LordSparty. Spartian then took offense to that, and attacked Asmos every time he was out of a safe zone. Already having a reputation for being too proud, Asmos initiated flames and insults against AVALON, which secured Asmos's position in a middle of an on-going conflict.

In order to prevent more chaos and senseless fighting, Lingz decided to intervene once again, by removing AVALON and Nfaculty from the alliance, in spite of the fact that AVALON was a strong part of Xclusive. Many Xclusive members had roots in AVALON, and were outraged in the outcome. Some formerly loyal members even left Xclusive, and after Lingz threatened with taking back the gifts she once gave, many members realized that Xclusive was more than it appeared to be. One quote stand's out more than anything, "Yes lingz, you're right, I'm not loyal to a guild but I'm loyal to my friends so, bye!"
With that said, more and more members left Xclusive in favor of AVALON.
Not quitting, AVALON-leader Spartian chose to keep the guild alive, and make it as strong as it once was. Lingz declared war on AVALON, and ordered all remaining members to kill all of them. Initially not fighting back, AVALON attempted staying on friendly grounds with Xclusive. This didn't work very well however, and AVALON was forced to retaliate. Little by little, the few but strong members of AVALON managed to match the legendary force of Xclusive. Since MerarAra was dead-set on dominating Xclusive for choosing his enemies over him, he suggested that they start a hostility with Xclusive, and so they did. They allied Bx3xPL, an older guild, which had been fighting against Xclusive for quite a while before. With their kill-on-sight methods, and constant support from members, AVALON quickly managed to match Xclusive's strength and even more. However, over-time, as people left the server, AVALON became slowly but surely inactive, and all attempts made to ressurect AVALON to the glory it once held had been futile. This all changed when VET3RaNZ decided to fully support AVALON. VET3RaNZ merged with RoSaints, forming RoVet, while Anvhars merged with SkiLLz, forming FamouZ. For a while, AVALON always came up on top, but once again, things died down as more and more members went inactive.

Things weren't going too well for Xclusive either. Having swapped alliances quite a few times, Xclusive was also full of inactive members. This never stopped either of the guilds though, as both kept on struggling to be on top. Inactive members were replaced with newcomers, alliances were changed a few more times, and trash-talking never stopped, though not for the right reasons. Eventually, Xclusive suffered a decent blow, when Lingz disbanded Xclusive, due to personal reasons. Being the older allied guild, TOPGUNZ took their place as main-alliance and AVALON's rival guild. Newly resurrected, TOPGUNZ displayed a great force during hostility wars and duels. Xclusive disbanded as it was, TOPGUNZ, together with the loyal Xclusive members who joined TOPGUNZ, stayed as one of the top guilds in ZMU.

With so much time passed since there was indeed a reason to fight, and with MerarAra gone, and Xclusive now absorbed by TOPGUNZ, one would question why exactly AVALON still fight's another person's  e war.
The answer differs from person to person, but it always leads to the same conclusion. Nobody knows.
They fight because either a member of the opposing guild killed them, disrespected them or did something to them, but they do not share the cause Xclusive and AVALON once shared. There are only a hand-full of people that still remember the glory days of AVALON and Xclusive, and they know why they're fighting for.
