It was explained to you that this ring fuels your magical energy and that your power is greatly reduced when not wearing it. The rings are bestowed to those who have earned the right to be called a White Mage and will not grant power to those who have not been accepted by the White Arts. The symbol of the ring is engraved by the shard of a crystal of light.
