  1. [16:33] Ascalon for his part in this ordeal had stood off to the side. Watching the way in which the Nethradin fought to control the girl. There was something wrong about it, these Nethradin. They where proof that the dragon Ryujin was a poor guardian of the spirit realm. Proof that Kraus' design led ultimately to maddened hell.
  2.
  3. Only Azrael's light could hope to keep such monstrosities at bay. Yet, the last bastion of Azrael in Agartha was Dawn and it weakened by the day. What could they hope to do when the blinded Krausites, Emperor worshippers, and atheist came for them?
  4.
  5. A frown had never left the young man's lips. Emerald hues pulsing regularly with reika. Eyes narrowing at the young girl he'd try to see beyond them. Eye's narrowing to slits he attempted to connect into that realm of spirits in which an abomination would exist truthfully.
  6.
  7. Yet, if they saw anything at all it'd be vague. They were simply not yet fully attuned to the next realm. Their breathing steadied, slowing down. They'd need focus here. No rage or passion. He'd connected to the realm beyond upon the worlds peak, perhaps he could do it again briefly for a glimpse here?
  8. (Ascalon Zanders)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [16:42] It was not within the Realm of Helheim, but its essence embedded through the runic engravings upon her flesh, carved across the entire little Elisheva's body. It was scarred tissue that illuminated where runes were formed, creating from the claw of the Nagual that had done this.
  12.
  13. However Ascalon was attempting to connect to its once home land, the Nethradin did not reside; it was bound by Sors' chains in the physical realm, amalgamated within the runes around her person.
  14.
  15. A strange and incomplete occurrence. Lailah opted to keep away from Jessi most, if not, at all times to avoid anymore experimentation on that former project.
  16.
  17. But if one could see her soul, they'd fine agony; a child forced down by the struggles of her unhealed infections and the vile demonic presence of both Sors and Hecate. She was crying endlessly, fear stricken, trembling, and motionless deep down.
  18. (Lailah Elisheva)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [16:54] It wasn't a sight he'd wished to see, twisted and corrupted. Half-lidded eyes scanned the visage of Lailah's spirit, noting the gaping wounds to her spirit. Was this the Nethradin's work or this Void that Sors worshipped?
  22.
  23. The look of neutrality upon the young Oscuri's visage shifted briefly into one of anger. How could the great paradise of Azrael which was promised come about if those who would be immortal. Have their souls twisted and torn?
  24.
  25. The shackles of Necromancy he could understand, force was what changed the world but this was something worse. Changing the world for the worst. If he was more attuned with realm beyond he could perhaps aid them. Yet, he could do nothing, except perhaps.
  26.
  27. "Lailah, have you ever attempted to connect to the thrum of your ancestors?"
  28.
  29. Where one souls struggled alone and abandoned. It was only natural that they should turn towards their blood for aid. In his own darkest moments it'd been the thrum of his visions, the pulse of his ancestors watchful gaze. Which kept him strong, perhaps that same aid could be shown for the young Elisheva?
  30.
  31. They're parents were an enemy, their people sought only the genocide of his own. Yet, those sins did not settle upon her. One's blood mattered but it was only a connection, a chain towards the pillar that was oneself. Not the defining factor.
  32.
  33. (Ascalon Zanders)
  34. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  35.
  36. [16:59] "Yes," Hecate replies, glancing a bright, rosy red face towards the Oscuri with a widened set of eyes that expression no emotion. "It's a difficult subject to grasp, with what was attempted."
  37.
  38. The girl nods her head, turning away momentarily to drag herself up from the knelt position on the ground.
  39.
  40. "Trying to.. tap into my divine heritage. An odd understanding, but not impossible. Do you, Ascalon Zanders, have advice for that?"
  41.
  42. And finally, Hecate turns her body around, staring at the boy.
  43. (Lailah Elisheva)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. [17:05] Ascalon simply gave a nod to the question. He'd spent the past few years practicing to make that connection. He hadn't learned to stabilize it, but he could feel it just out of his grasp. However, his connection to his divine father Azrael? He'd always felt that one.
  47.
  48. "I'm an Oscuri we are born connected to divinity." There was a clear smile that crossed his face. "So, yes I believe I do have experience."
  49.
  50. As he spoke his emerald hues shifted towards Freya's arrival. The smile wained as they shifted to meet their Paladin's arrival. With a quick shift they'd tap their fist upon their breast. Offering a salute.
  51.
  52. "Paladin Freya, to what do I owe your visit?"
  53. (Ascalon Zanders)
