Dramatis Personae

Knight-Captain Fergus Proenza – The main character. An impulsive, rash but skilled commoner, trying to prove his worth to the galaxy. He swore fealty to Countess-Commodore Philicia Lauritzen and became a knight. The Ghoul of Raisat

Warrant officer Gavril Radu – MC’s good friend, also a commoner, keeps himself to the lower levels and always has a good read on the crew.

Lieutenant Baron Schriver (K.I.A.) – In command of MC’s marine detachment. An elite genehanced commoner, went through special forces program before ending up on the losing end of a civil war. Kicked to the fringe world of the Dukedom of Roy, he was recruited by the MC when he beat up Baron’s men.
After numerous successful operations, Baron’s luck ran out when he tried to secure an unknown stealth ship. He died in nuclear fire.

Lieutenant Warwick Ahyet – Former sergeant under the command of Lieutenant Schriver. After the passing of his CO, the MC promoted him to take the mantle. Known for being brash and aggressive, it is also possible that he hold the MC responsible for the death of most of his brother-in-arms.

Countess-Commodore Philicia Lauritzen – The feudal lord Talax, a long serving naval captain and the overall superior when it comes to military operations in the area.

Viscount-Captain Desimir Kubler, in command of Light Cruiser “Relentless seeker” (K.I.A.) – The commanding officer of the MC’s first task. Died in combat after the disastrous ambush by pirates.

Lord-Commander Lambart Stroot, in command of a Wolf-class frigate, WCF-SL-8145 (K.I.A.) – A fellow officer in MC’s first deployment. Died in combat after the disastrous ambush by pirates.

Lady-Captain Rasia Alpizar (K.I.A.)   – Was part of the first task in which the MC participated, she survived when fighting 1v2 engagement. Was promoted alongside the MC and leads her own independent detachment. Died in the final battle against the pirate menace after MC persuaded her to join him on the task.

Margrave-General Chevalier Honma – Was escorted by the MC so that he could deploy his troops to deal with an uprising. More machine than man, speaks bluntly and roughly, likes the MC.

Viscount-Captain Tihomir Hiley – Lead the suicide mission behind enemy lines (Emarian Kingdom). He feels slight guilt over the MC’s injuries and loss of life.

Lord-Captain Sorrel Nease – A.K.A. “Captain Greedy”, fought alongside the MC in the suicide mission, prioritized securing two light cruisers over engaging the enemy in earnest.

Lord-Captain Toshiro Labounta – Fought alongside the MC on the suicide mission. Was first to arrive to assist the MC when he was being chased, used the fact that the MC diverted enemy forces to carry out a successful lightning raid.

Baronet-Captain Athemar Todoroff, – A commoner made knight. He is a steady and defensive commander, preferring to calmly analyse a situation before committing to it. He was knighted alongside the MC. For his service and leadership against the Raisat Star League was made a baronet.

Dame-Captain Marsalina Akim – A commoner made dame. She is an aggressive and vicious commander, preferring lighter ships. She is a dame alongside the MC.

Knight-Captain Maluhialani Sampselle – A commoner made knight. He is fickle, experimental and perhaps indecisive. He makes up for these shortfalls with his diplomatic genius and silver tongue. He is a knight alongside the MC.

Lady-Lieutenant Commander Erina Tetreault. XO of the players. – A noble lady looking for the prerequisite experience needed for her own independent command. Strict and traditionalist, she meshes poorly with the MC, but keeps him from committing Faux pas when dealing with nobles.

Iron – A person found aboard a Raisat Star League ship. Towering, covered in armour with two floating drones. He looks more like a machine than a man, the rough metallic voice of metal grinding against metal further adds to the image. It claims to be a philosopher, engineer, scientist, warrior and general. Currently under the MCs employ, after he was allowed to look into stealth ship technology.

Skills:
Pirate – This person is skilled in hit and run attacks, but is unused to commanding larger ships. ([green]Frigates and destroyers move faster and ignore most terrain penalties.[/green] [red]Light cruisers and up suffer rate of fire and speed penalties.[/red])
Boarder – Skilled and used to commanding boarding actions, the person’s entire crew can be used in assaults and they are used to heavy losses associated with such actions. ([green]Ignore crit fails on boarding actions (will be treated as regular failure) and a permanent +10 for the action.[/green] [red]Will try to board enemy ships even without command if sensing an opportunity.[/red])
