    "inf_ldesc": "<div style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-size: 12px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;\">\r\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The rise of piracy in the Arabian Sea in the 18th and 19th centuries resulted in a time of unrest that challenged prosperity and regional trade enterprise. &nbsp;In 1816, a friendly agreement between the British representatives in the Gulf and the Sheikhs of Bahrain secured the protection of shared interests. The agreement was formalised in 1820 with the signing of a General Treaty of Peace, that ushered a new episode in the political and cultural history of both nations. Over the past 200 years, the nature of the British-Bahraini relationship has evolved and the ties between the two nations were strengthened. Above all, this relationship was shaped by varied explorations, encounters and personal stories. This exhibition draws on the first explorations of Bahrain and its archaeological landscape. It celebrates a few of those who have played a major role in bringing global attention to Bahrain. By shifting the focus from artefacts to people and their documented encounters with local Bahrainis, we attempt to shed light on different perspectives of the bicentenary long British-Bahraini relationship.</p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the British Council in Bahrain.</p>\r\n\r\n<div>&nbsp;</div>\r\n</div>",

    "inf_ldesc": "<p dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align:justify\">عاشت منطقة الخليج العربي فترة اضطراب وعدم استقرار&nbsp; في القرنين&nbsp; الثامن عشر&nbsp; والتاسع عشر نتيجة ظاهرة القرصنة التي شكلت تحدياً خطيراً على الازدهار وحركة التجارة الإقليمية. و في العام 1816، تم التوصل إلى معاهدة صداقة بين الوكيل البريطاني في الخليج العربي وشيوخ البحرين لترسيخ تحالفهم وحماية المصالح المشتركة بين الطرفين، وأصبح هذا الاتفاق معاهدة رسمية في عام 1820 مع توقيع المعاهدة العامة للسلام التي شكلت بداية فصل سياسي وثقافي جديد بين البلدين. وعلى مدى السنوات الـ 200 الماضية، تطورت معالم طبيعة العلاقات البحرينية - البريطانية وتوطدت روابطها. هذه العلاقة الثنائية شكّلها الناس وأثرت عليها استكشافات ولقاءات وقصص شخصية متنوعة.</p>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align:justify\">يحتفي هذا المعرض بأولى رحلات استكشاف البحرين ومشهدها الأثري، و ببعض أولئك الناس الذين لعبوا دوراً رئيسياً في إبراز التراث الثقافي الغني للجزيرة وجلب الاهتمام العالمي إلى البحرين. ونسعى من خلال تحويل الأنظار من القطع الأثرية إلى لقاءات الناس وقصص الذاكرة إلى إظهار زوايا ووجهات نظر متعددة ومختلفة من العلاقات البريطانية البحرينية التي تمتد إلى 200 سنة خلت.</p>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;ينظم هذا المعرض بالتعاون مع المركز الثقافي البريطاني</p>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"rtl\">&nbsp;</p>",
