IsekaiSS part 10

The day of judgement has arrived.
As promised, a small army of men marched onto the fields of axis. The Sword of Ares troops are running late. It won’t matter though, he has more than enough to subdue his foe as is. Gaston looks over his men and the surrounding area for any signs of those Frontier Reich upstarts.
No sign
He smiles smugly to himself, crushing this little rebellion might even get him a promotion.
“THE COWARDS WON’T EVEN FACE US” he shouts to his men
The tension among the men breaks. They begin laughing and conversing amongst themselves. Suddenly, an explosion erupts in the middle of the loose formation.
“WHAT!”
Gaston looks around the field furiously. There on a small hillock some 200 meters in front, red, black and white flags waving in the wind is the small band of aggressors. They march forward in front of their dark yellow war machine, arrogantly waving their flags. The bastards have arrived.

“driver, halt” you order as the Tiger reaches the top of the hill.
The rest of your force, kamikaze, Henrik, Hans, Merlok, and a few of Merlok’s wizard buddies marches to the base of the hill.
The three ex-axis soldiers slam their flagpoles into the ground and await your command. Through your binoculars you can see Gaston’s face go red with rage. You wave at the enemy commander. That really got him riled up, he screams at his troops and waves his accusing finger at you.
The confused enemy troops recover from the first blow and re-form their ranks. Their mages begin throwing fireballs, lightning and shards of ice at the tiger and the troops below. Merlok and the newly-formed mage division shield most of the projectiles. A single shard of ice makes it through the barriers and bounces off of the frontal plate of the tiger. That was going to leave quite the scratch.
The enemy army charges forward, heading straight at your people.
“light ‘em up Alice” you say as you grab two signal flags from just under the commander’s cupola. You signal Henrik to set his part of the plan in motion.
“stand back!” he shouts.
He stomps his foot, causing the ground to erupt in a line to his sides. Your men jump into the cloud of dust, into the newly formed trench. It is no work of art, but it is deep enough to serve it’s purpose. Everyone already has their guns out by the time the dust settles.
The enemy force charges as their mages launch another volley of projectiles. You have to duck into the cupola to avoid the hail. One fireball detonates near the tank, slamming the hatch closed. Alice sends another HE shell on its way. You watch through the vision another five or so men explode.
Look at these fucking medivalfags.
Henrik finishes loading his MG34 and opens fire on the approaching enemy. Kamikaze and The Mage Division open fire with their guns, the MP40s, Mausers and the K98. Hans unhappily stands by with his Flammenwerfer The front ranks of the enemy horde drop like flies. A group of what you assume are berserkers make their way to the front. Their tower shields start soaking up quite a few bullets. the situation gets worse when the enemy mages erect a wall of energy that deflects all of the bullets.

The retards keep firing into the barrier

The barrier starts moving forward, allowing the enemy to keep advancing.
TRIPLE FUCK!

“DRIVER ADVANCE” you shout at Aya.
“B-but before you said we didn’t need-“
“I DIDN’T THINK THEY COULD DO THAT, VORWAAAAAAARTS. TAYA, SARA GET YOUR MACHINE GUNS READY”
The Tiger leaps into action.
You can hear Gaston shitting himself from across the field.
You open the hatch, stand up and draw your sword. You cast Magma Lance and point the fiery spike at the enemy.
“TAKE ME CLOSER, I WANNA HIT THEM WITH MY SWORD”
The tiger hits the bottom of the hill, the shock almost makes you drop your sword. Ara speeds up to jump the trench. The entrenched soldiers look back in surprise at the big metal box bearing down on them.
“BLITZKRIEEEEEEEG” you shout at them as the tiger jumps the trench.
“BLITZKRIEEEEEEEEG” comes the reply from Hans and Henrik as they jump over the top and charge after you. The mage division follows them, shouting incoherent war cries.
“Alice, send an APBC through that barrier!”
Alice nods, Sara loads APBC. As the tiger bears down on the army, they begin to falter. Ten meters out, Alice fires at the barrier.
Time seems to slow as the round flies its course. The expressions of the men behind the barrier go from uncertain to ‘fucking run’. The round hits the barrier, it seems to hang there for a second. Then the barrier cracks and the men in the path of the APBC get pulverised.
“CHARGE AYA!”
“t-there’s people in the way!”
“DON’T GIVE A FUCK”
You make contact, unfortunately you sword is only just too short to hit the enemy. The tiger has better luck, it gets to just run over people.
“ew ew ew ew ew” cringes Aya as blood spatters all over her vision port
Sara and Taya let loose with the machine guns.
The rest of your men back you up, Hans gets to use his flamethrower.
The tiger breaks free of the main fray and advances on Gaston.
Gaston looks to both his sides, desperately trying to find a way out.
The tiger grinds to a very sudden halt before it runs down the man, but you don’t get to see much more as the stop makes you slip off of your feet and fall into the tank. The tank rocks backwards as the suspension recovers from the halt.
“where’d he go?” yelps Aya
You haul yourself back into the cupola. Through the vision slits, it does seem that Gaston has disappeared. You poke up out of the tank to get a better look around.
There, lying under the muzzle brake, with a bleeding wound on his forehead, is Gaston.
“holy shit!” exclaims a voice you recognise as William from the Sword of Ares.
William has brought his share of soldiers with him, though they don’t really looks like fighting. They stare in horror at the field of bodies and hans’ victory dance.
“you want some too?” you threaten as you point your sword at him
“N-No” he stutters
“then give half of your land to The Frontier Reich!”
“isn’t that a bit demanding?” whispers Alice
“it’s free real estate” you whisper back
“T-the best I can do is this province, even that will have my superiors wanting my head!”
“if that’s the case then why don’t you join us?”
William’s face scrunches up in an expression that says “I’m going to get fucked either way”. he turns to his army and announces in a shrill voice “All in favour of joining the Frontier Reich?”.
The men look hesitant to say yes, but the field of corpses is a very convincing argument.
You and William shake hands in front of the mighty Tiger.
And so the Frontier Reich won its first victory.
