  1. Pizza's Judgement of Corv vs. Crim
  2.
  3. Unfortunately, this judgement has a foregone conclusion, as Crim no longer has enough in-tier characters to progress through the tourney with.

  5. Still, there is much to say. Crim’s arguments unfortunately suffered from a lack of focus on Kabutomushi, his remaining character. Her stats are good, but not great — but Crim argued surprisingly well in favor of her speed, with the feat of the high number of actions she did in a short time frame. It wouldn’t be impossible to contest this, but for some reason Corvette didn’t even try to. Don’t just assert that she’s slow without making a counterargument.

  7. That said, if there are characters who could win this kind of 1v3, Kabutomushi is not one of them. Crim’s overall team strategy wasn’t awful, but fell short with only Kabutomushi. The wind wasn’t very impressive, and Corvette successfully called into question whether it was a good feat at all.

  9. Crim’s first response put almost no effort toward discussing his opponent’s characters. This alone made Corvette’s arguments much stronger, as he began with presenting his own characters feats then followed that with a discussion of what he believed to be his opponents’ characters weaknesses. Though I will say Corvette’s formatting and argument structure could improve — beginning with a feat dump might be relatively objective, but you need to contextualize more than that alongside the feats and make more direct comparisons. His overall team strategy was minimal.

  11. Crim, luckily, did begin to contest his opponents’ characters’ feats in his second response. There were some decent arguments, and some messy ones, like saying that Shishio’s attack is slow because people were “talking” during it. Corvette’s defenses against these arguments were adequate, but surprisingly minimal and just outright ignored some points. Frankly, I’m starting to notice that late in the debate, both debaters had pretty messily written arguments. Corvette’s structure was lacking and Crim’s explanations were often confusing. Please proofread before posting.
