PERSONALITY :: Hyuen is very shy at first and would often not speak. It would take about 3 - 5 months to show her real personality. When she gets comfortable with someone, she'll begin to be sarcastic and would stop stuttering that person. Hyuen also tends to look on the negatives of things and would look down on herself. She's also a bit lazy and would be sometimes needed to be dragged to practice and events.

Back in school, nothing made Hyuen much different from the other girls. She decided to join Woolim because being average bothered her. Hyuen also wanted to show that she can be as talented as her cousin, Chanyeol of EXO. Hyuen's mother was very skeptical at first. She moved to Korea from Osaka while her parents stayed in Osaka after a lot of convincing. During her trainee years, she lived at her school's dormitories.

The very first time her talent was acknowledged was during a contest in her old school. Hyuen was also taught by her mom to play the piano. When she was 14, she composed her very first song. Chanyeol introduced her to the rest of his group when she was 15 during a skype call. Now, she occasionally meets up with them.

HOW LONG HAS SHE BEEN A TRAINEE OF WOOLIM ENTERTAINMENT? :: She's been a trainee since she was 15 which makes it 3 years.

INFO ABOUT HER TRAINEE LIFE :: She was in HS that time so her training schedule would be from sunset to late night. It was hard for her since she didn't have much confidence nor much leisure time. Hyuen was considering giving up when she was 16 but Chanyeol convinced her not to.
