- (Before the Veil): You say, "Given that so many of us are present, I believe it is a fine time
- to gather. We shall partake of our Lady's memories, so that we may discuss them and their
- lessons. Those of you that are available to do so, report to our Lady's realm."
- Glacydra steps through the misty curtain of a luminous waterfall, emerging in a shimmer of
- water and light.
- Glacydra has entered the area.
- Glacydra folds their hands at their waist and bows solemnly before rising again.
- With a faint smile, the corners of their eyes crinkled in warmth, Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater,
- Wanderer in the Mist says, "I am here, Incandescent."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "I wish my sincerest congratulations on
- your promotion."
- Avaris inclines his head to Glacydra courteously, antennae upright, yet
- relaxed. "Wanderer Glacydra. It is good to see you." At the congratulations, a glittering wash
- of scintillating motes of light sparks to life within the seven, azure orbs of his eyes, his
- voices warm as he says, "Thank you. I look forward to serving our Lady in this capacity."
- Glacydra smiles, a great array of fish-like teeth revealing themselves in their grin. "I look
- forward to the discussion. There is so much to consider and analyse. It is a privilege to know
- what past events have contributed to the wonder that is our Lady Empyreal today."
- (Before the Veil): Cheliyi (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Ah, will be on my way!"
- Cheliyi steps through the misty curtain of a luminous waterfall, emerging in a shimmer of water
- and light.
- Trailing in a bone-chilling fog, Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie flies in from the ether.
- Cheliyi has entered the area.
- Cheliyi's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
- Cheliyi inclines her head politely to those around her.
- The pointed tips of Cheliyi's ears twitch to some errant sound.
- With an emphatic, brisk nod, Avaris affirms, "It truly is. We are blessed
- beyond measure to have the opportunity to partake of our Lady's Wisdom, and Her memories." The
- tips of his antennae curve down, the sanguine lines forming a frown, displeasure seeping into
- his tone. "One that it seems few wish to seize." At Cheliyi's arrival, he offers a polite
- inclination of his head, replying, "Blessed Cheliyi. It is good that you have come."
- Glacydra flashes Cheliyi a joyous smile.
- Glacydra folds their hands at their waist and bows solemnly before rising again.
- With a slight frown, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says, "Anointed Avaris, most of our Lady's
- devoted cannot partake of memories until they are Blessed, rights? And we only have so few
- Blessed."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "I can view the memories."
- Cheliyi blinks.
- Surprised, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says, "Oh."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "There is no such requirement, that I am aware
- of, no. Perhaps I am mistaken, but I do not recall such limitations."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist laughingly says, "I was just saying to
- Anointed Avaris that it is such a privilege to know some of the past events have contributed to
- the wonderful presence that our Lady Empyreal is today."
- With a gentle smile, Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "So I am looking
- forward to sharing in them together for discussion and interpretation, in hopes it will bring
- us closer to Her."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "And to each other!"
- After a pause, Glacydra glances around at the anchoresses passing through and nods to themself.
- The dense, gleaming plates that form Avaris's visored face offer little in the
- way of hints as to his mood as he watches the two others interact, hands folded behind his
- back. Antennae flicking at the coming and going of the anchoresses, he tilts his head up,
- saying, "Let us move out of the way of the good lady anchoresses."
- Cheliyi begins to follow you.
- With a nod, Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "Let us."
- Glacydra begins to follow you.
- Before the veil of mist.
- Sidereal waterfalls spill into the luminous pool of this baptismal font, forming a sparkling
- veil of mist. The banks of fog at the base of the cascading water swirl across the marble
- floors with an enchanting, mysterious haze, whispering across the mosaic lotus tiles. Pillars
- of white marble encircle the fountain, while celadon blue statuettes of veiled priestesses hold
- urns of overflowing light before the waters. The starry light that pours forth collects and
- pools at the centre of the chamber, where a single star lotus unfurls in eternal bloom.
- Luminous streams overflow from a baptismal fountain of water and light here. Muginn, the ghost-
- feathered magpie perches here with a mischievous glint in his eye.
- You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, up, and down.
- Thoughtfully, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says, "Huh. I could have sworn that was why I could
- not access the fonts yets... I guess I was mistaken back thens."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "It feels not too long ago that I
- joined, so perhaps it was restricted at some point beforehand?"
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "I gathered from the Lady's more recent
- posts that She seeks to be known, so it would make sense to extend the privilege to more of Her
- newer followers."
- Cheliyi warbles softly to herself. "Ah, I found my mistake. In the OHELP UNANOINTED scroll, it
- says that must perform the ritual after becoming Blessed by Purity, but is not a restriction. I
- misreads."
- Talons clicking upon the floor, Avaris moves towards the northwest exit,
- turning to regard Cheliyi over one spiked, heavily armoured shoulder. "That would explain it.
- We shall each partake of a Font, and share what we experienced, and then discuss."
- Glacydra nods their head emphatically.
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "Do we need to share the basin? I can
- go quickly."
- Glacydra proudly shows off an immaculate stone basin:
- Of humble make, this immaculate stone basin is polished to a perfect smoothness by the river's
- hand, bearing no flaws and little ornamentation on its white surface; an inlay of celadon jade
- provides its sole embellishment. The bluish-grey gemstone outlines a symbol of the Lady Lantra:
- an urn overflowing with water and light. Four perfect streams of water pour forth from the urn,
- while set atop the urn's surface rests a star lotus in eternal bloom. Faint and worn, a single
- inscription has been etched beneath it.
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "Ah. A fair point. I have not attempted to
- share it, but we shall endeavour to see if such is possible."
- Glacydra nods their head emphatically.
- The Font of Purity.
- Glistening waterfalls surround this marble font, sculpted in homage to Lantra, the White.
- Beautiful doves carved from mother-of-pearl soar about Her with silent joy, their wings gliding
- through the waterfalls to spray a gentle mist of sparkling white. The Goddess's long robes flow
- to the waters below, Her hands outstretched to cradle a single star lotus held within Her
- palms, captured in eternal bloom. Endless living star lotuses blossom at Her feet, unfurling
- their dewy petals to reveal their sparkling hearts. Muted sconces of soft starlight provide a
- soft, ambient light to this chamber, twinkling in and out like constellations on the walls.
- Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie perches here with a mischievous glint in his eye.
- You see exits leading north, southeast, and southwest.
- You drop an immaculate stone basin.
- The statue of Lantra, the White shines with immaculate light as an immaculate stone basin
- slowly fills with luminous waters from the Font of Purity.
- "Drink," a calm, feminine voice echoes through the chamber, "and know of the Soul, and that
- which must be defended against all corruption."
- As the waters quiet, an immaculate stone basin vanishes in a flash of blessed light, returning
- once more to your hands.
- You take a long draught of water, hoping to quench your thirst.
- The luminous, sparkling waters bring a calm clarity to your mind as you receive a vision of the
- Lady Lantra:
- You can hear the shy smile in Rhapsody's voice as She beckons: "I want to show you something."
- When the winged Goddess lifts Her voice in song, your heart stirs, as it always has, to hear
- even a memory of the Song of Creation. And yet, you sense something new to its melody: an
- aching sweetness, a latent strength that uplifts the spirit with the rise and fall of each note
- from Rhapsody's lips. You are startled to recognize this healing power, for it is an echo of
- your own. How long had this Goddess watched you, to understand your arts so intuitively and
- convey them in Her song? "You... inspired Me," Rhapsody admits, breathless in Her confession.
- There were those of the Hamadhi who believed that Dynara would tie two souls to one another
- with the strings of Fate, entwining them together for an eternity. You had never given much
- credence to the notion. Until now.
- Lowering the empty basin, which he cups in his lower pair of hands, Avaris the
- brilliant blue of his eyes dimming a shade. "Lady Rhapsody sings for our Lady, and in Her song
- there is a note of our Lady's healing ability - Infused after much time spent with our Lady,
- and from paying great attention to Her, and Her work. Our lady considers that there is the
- concept of two souls which are bound together by Dynara, with strings of Fate." Handing the
- basin to Glacydra, he says, simply, "Discuss."
- You give an immaculate stone basin to Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist.
- Glacydra gazes into the now-empty basin, pondering quietly.
- Glacydra says slowly and thoughtfully, "I believe the more time you spend with another, on
- close terms, the more you take on the other's characteristics, and vice versa, especially the
- qualities you admire and wish to emulate." With a small laugh, they add, "Much like how couples
- start to wear the same clothing style, or share their likes, like favourite foods, because they
- remind each person of the other they love."
- Carefully, Glacydra gives an immaculate stone basin to Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter.
- Listening to Glacydra's words attentively, Avaris lowers his chin a fraction
- to show that he has heard, but offers no immediate comment. He turns, then, to Cheliyi,
- expectant.
- Cheliyi's feathered ear tufts twitch as she listens in silence, clouded gaze finally resting on
- the statue in the center of the room. She takes the basin gingerly, offering Glacydra a warm
- smile. "There is Purity in Their love, I guesses. Lady Rhapsody worked to become a better,
- stronger singer, and part of Her love for our Lady bled through the music, yes. One of the
- purest forms of love is where you work to understand the other person, and perhaps become a
- parts of their world." She warbles softly, and glances again at the Font.
- Glacydra nods in agreement, looking at Cheliyi.
- White water lilies glide in from the southwest upon a flowing stream, their gentle procession
- heralding the entrance of Faragan, riding an exalted ivory and gold dragon, in a burst of water
- and light.
- Arriving amid salubrious ivory light, an exalted dragon majestically strides in.
- Cheliyi flashes Faragan a joyous smile.
- Glacydra folds their hands at their waist and bows solemnly towards Faragan before rising
- again.
- The broad, deep crimson curves of Avaris's antennae lean towards Cheliyi as
- she speaks, the massive expanse of his burnished chest rising and falling in slow, steady
- rhythm. To Glacydra, he asks, "And how would you relate your impressions to the virtue of
- Purity, Wanderer Glacydra?"
- To Faragan, Avaris offers a polite nod of greeting, saying, "Anointed Faragan,
- welcome."
- With a flourish of his arm, Faragan bows deeply.
- Faragan slips back to watchand listen and not interupt.
- Glacydra colours slightly, glancing askance, then quickly adds, "My impressions relate to
- Purity in that... it takes an open heart and mind to take in another person, in a way. To
- understand their nature, their motives, their desires... And to take note of what you admire
- and to express it as well. Purity lies in the willingness to take down your own walls to be
- known and vulnerable, and to know someone else, such that your lives intertwine so wholly, you
- grow and take on the positive qualities of the other, to make yourself a fuller and better
- person.
- Cheliyi ponders the situation.
- With a warm grin, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says to Glacydra, "That's a beautiful way of
- putting its, I thinks."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist laughingly says, "Thank you."
- Cheliyi tilts her head curiously at you.
- If Avaris takes note of Glacydra's subtle flush, he makes no sign of having
- done so, listening with the same patient manner as before. "Well articulated, Wanderer."
- Turning his attention to Faragan, he lifts a heavily armoured hand, gesturing in invitation.
- "Would you like to give your opinion on Wanderer Glacydra's thoughts, Anointed Faragan?"
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star asks, "Which memory are we s speaking of?"
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "The one in which Lady Rhapsody sings for our
- Lady, and has infused Her song with a power similar to our Lady's healing ability. Our Lady
- recalls that some Hamadhi believe Dynara binds two souls together via strands of Fate."
- Comprehension flashes across Faragan's face.
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "I liked glacydra's notion but, I would add that we must not accept only those
- things that would make us better rom loved ones but, those lesser things as wel such as
- anoyances, disappointments and not jus the good but, the bad of the other to be a holesum love.
- full acceptance and not just that of the good. I would also ponder that ew cant' as ashards
- experience the love tht hte elders had for one another bbe it sibling or a mating pare. They
- experience aeons of such things. we experience centuries. In this Ithink time does make a
- difference on how well one can know another. pluss maturing within a cretch with dianara and
- your maturing. I have seen more than one elder pare and love love I honestly it touches me more
- deeply than any mortal love I've ever had. They seem to be more mated than I think mortal
- shards can experience."
- Cheliyi nods slowly, considering Faragan's words thoughtfully. "Yeah, that makes sense, yes."
- Glacydra nods, saying, "That's a great point. The emotions the Elders feel must be hundreds, if
- not thousands of times stronger than the emotions we do as splintered mortals."
- Emitting a low, neutral tone that resonates about the chamber, Avaris dips his
- chin in a slight nod. "The Elders also possess a far greater capacity for emotion than we are
- capable of - A depth and intensity that is beyond us."
- You nod your head at Glacydra.
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "They had aeons of harmony and piece after the circles were astabilished before
- the elder wars. I can only emagin what such a pieceful time would be like and allow."
- Faragan smiles softly.
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "Yet, Ithink it a testement to love and companionship that given that we've not
- really known such a time we can stil find love for ourselves."
- Faragan raises an eyebrow questioningly.
- Tilting his head aside, Avaris's chest thrums with a quiet sound, his tone
- even as he says, "Not entirely accurate, given that the War of the Circles occurred, among
- other petty conflicts - But yes, They have lived in far more harmonious times, and no doubt
- many relationships blossomed in such." To Cheliyi, he says, "You possess the basin. You may
- choose the next Font to partake of, if you wish."
- Cheliyi blinks.
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say to Faragan, "Quite so. May we all be so
- fortunate as to find love in our life."
- In a warbling chirp, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says, "Ah, alright. To Fortitudes, then?"
- You nod your head emphatically.
- Glacydra nods their head emphatically.
- The Font of Fortitude.
- Cold, argent light filters through this chamber, which is upheld by stark white pillars
- illuminated by starry torchlight. The frescoes painted upon this water-filled chamber are
- haunting in their black-and-white shading as they depict the horrors of the Elder Wars. Here,
- countless Elder Gods hold Their ground before the likes of Kethuru, Crazen and Zenos, held in
- proud formations perfected by the Second Circle. Yet the wounded and dying have begun to pile
- up behind Them, and while many faces which grace these walls seem familiar, far more are
- blurred, as if the memory of Them has finally begun to fray. A statue of Lantra, the Lady
- Mediatrix looks upon all these images in silence, surrounded by startlingly bright red lotuses
- which blossom at Her feet and crown Her regal brow. A single crimson lotus blooms eternally in
- Her outstretched hands as water and light flows forth from beneath its sanguine petals, as if
- stained with blood. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie perches here with a mischievous glint in
- his eye. As still as a magnificent statue, an exalted dragon peers out with serene gold eyes.
- Starlight shrouds a wanderer in the mist here within a twinkling mantle of sidereal radiance.
- You see exits leading northeast, south, and northwest.
- Cheliyi drops an immaculate stone basin.
- The statue of Lantra, the Lady Mediatrix shines with soothing light as an immaculate stone
- basin slowly fills with luminous waters from the Font of Fortitude.
- "Drink," a calm, feminine voice echoes through the chamber, "and know of Hope, and that
- strength which refuses to be extinguished by despair."
- As the waters quiet, an immaculate stone basin vanishes in a flash of blessed light, returning
- once more to Cheliyi's hands.
- The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Cheliyi's lips.
- As Cheliyi drinks of an immaculate stone basin, her eyes briefly shine with a fervent, amber
- glow.
- (Before the Veil): You say, "Blessed Auriella, we are presently partaking of our Lady's
- memories, and discussing them, if you wish to join us at the Font of Fortitude."
- (Before the Veil): Auriella (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "I'm just meeting with
- someone on a guild matter, and then I shall be right over."
- (Before the Veil): You say, "Of course."
- Cheliyi inhales softly, a slight frown flitting across her lips. "Our Lady is giving Her
- Brother, Lord Darvellan a farewell. She does not know why He must leave, or the mission, and
- She realizes that She took His presence for granted. However, She does not mention any of these
- things, and instead only says that She wishes Him a safe return." Her gaze lingers on the Font
- again, and she passes it to Glacydra.
- Gently, Cheliyi gives an immaculate stone basin to Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the
- Mist.
- A faint, humming note of recognition shivers forth from Avaris as Cheliyi
- finishes describing the vision, his antennae twisting to follow the basin as it passes to
- Glacydra's hands.
- Faragan gives a pained sigh.
- You tilt your head curiously at Faragan.
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "I just relate to this memory for to much."
- Comprehension flashes across your face.
- Cheliyi smiles wryly at Faragan.
- Glacydra ponders, cupping their hands around the stone basin quietly before speaking.
- "Fortitude. Sometimes... sometimes it takes Fortitude to trust in the words of the people we
- care about, and that they will be all right. Rather than holding them back, we must allow them
- to maintain their own resilience in fulfilling their mission or life's work. Sometimes
- restraint is a great display of courage and strength. Not a bombastic, outward show of power,
- but inner resilience."
- Carefully, Glacydra gives an immaculate stone basin to you.
- Auriella inclines her head politely to those around her.
- Accepting the basin in one titanic hand, Avaris holds it in the manner of one
- much accustomed to restraining his strength, his grasp upon the artifact light. The sharp point
- of his chin stabs down in a swift nod, brushing the tufts of pristine white that form his mane.
- "Very good, Wanderer. Often, Fortitude is expressed in quiet acts of endurance, of accepting
- that it is the hard path that must be walked, no matter how unpleasant." Running the edge of a
- thumb around the rim of the basin, he inclines his head to Auriella courteously, stating,
- "Welcome, Blessed Auriella. We are discussing the memory of our Lady speaking with Lord
- Darvellan, as He is informing Her that He will be departing. Are you familiar with it?"
- Sweeping an arm before her, Auriella bows her head in greetings, her dorsal fins sweeping
- gracefully through the air as she does so, "Purest of blessings to you all this morning."
- Her voice drifting through the air with a watery echo, Auriella Zayah, Lady of the Holy Flame
- says, "I believe I had witnessed this memory once before."
- Glacydra folds their hands at their waist and bows solemnly before rising again.
- Nodding evenly, Avaris hands the basin to Auriella, instructing, "We each are
- to partake of the memory of a Font, then share it with the others, so that we can discuss it.
- Whomever holds the basin may speak, so that we are not disorderly. Your opinion on the memory,
- and how it relates to Fortitude, if you will."
- once more to Auriella's hands.
- As Auriella drinks of an immaculate stone basin, her eyes briefly shine with a fervent, amber
- glow.
- Auriella runs her fingers over the rim of the basin as she partakes in the memories of The Lady
- Empyreal. She lifts her gaze and glances at everyone gathered before speaking, her large aquatic
- eyes reflecting the rippled image of everyone before her. "The memory speaks of when the Lord
- Lady Mysrai rebelled against Lord Zvoltz and the Circles and the Lady was approached by Them.
- The Lady appears taken aback by the approach as She is not a member of the warriors but as a
- leader of the Hamadhi is why She was sought." Pausing for a moment as she lets the memory pass
- through her thoughts, Auriella continues, "We are often in our lives presented with times that
- we are uneasy with, tasks and opinions offered that we find uncomfortable which often bring
- doubt and uncertainty. These are times we must stand strong with by showing Fortitude, even if
- one is outside their comfort." A quiet smile creeps across her lips as her eyes dart towards
- you momentarily before back towards the basin she holds.
- The lustrous spheres of Avaris's seven natural eyes shine with an inner
- luminescence as he listens to Auriella, their azure hue bright and vibrant. When Auriella's
- eyes lift to him, he offers the barest fraction of an encouraging nod, his thrumming, melodic
- voices raised in a firm chorus, as he says, "Indeed so, Blessed Auriella. Well spoken. It is
- often easier to possess Fortitude when within situations that we are well versed in. Dealing
- with the unexpected can compound the nature of whatever it is that assails us. Hold firm to
- your beliefs, to your convictions, even in the darkest, strangest places."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you ask Glacydra, "Wanderer Glacydra. Would you like to
- partake of the next Font?"
- Glacydra nods their head emphatically.
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "I would like to."
- Nodding brusquely, Avaris turns back to Auriella. "Hand the basin to Wanderer
- Glacydra, when you are ready, and we shall proceed."
- Glacydra nods their head emphatically.
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says to you, "Whichever one you feel is
- appropriate, Incandescent. Kindly lead?"
- The Font of Wisdom.
- This shadowy, water-filled alcove is filled with the gentle susurrus of running water, for
- cascading waterfalls rain over its smooth stone walls in a symphony of aquatic sound. A
- procession of water lotuses, each lit by a single, luminous star, raise their stems high above
- the surface of sparkling water as they surround a statue of Lantra, the Empyreal, Her
- inscrutable expression veiled from view as She folds Her hands in quiet contemplation. Seven
- starry jewels crown the Goddess's brow, mimicking domothean crystal as they emit an eerie light
- that dapples the shimmering walls. From where the light touches stone, faint constellations
- twinkle into view, drawing a sidereal path across the walls that leads through the Void-black
- stone to the west, as if charting a way back to the Basin of Life. As still as a magnificent
- statue, an exalted dragon peers out with serene gold eyes. A frisky puppy sits on her haunches,
- her little tail wagging against the ground. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie perches here
- with a mischievous glint in his eye.
- You see exits leading northeast, southeast, and west.
- Glacydra drops an immaculate stone basin.
- The statue of Lantra, the Empyreal shines with muted light as an immaculate stone basin slowly
- fills with luminous waters from the Font of Wisdom.
- "Drink," a calm, feminine voice echoes through the chamber, "and know of Truth, and that which
- pursues knowledge with humility."
- As the waters quiet, an immaculate stone basin vanishes in a flash of blessed light, returning
- once more to Glacydra's hands.
- Glacydra takes a long draught of water.
- As Glacydra drinks of an immaculate stone basin, their eyes briefly shine with a pensive,
- silvery-blue light.
- With great concentration, eyes squinted almost shut in focus Glacydra weaves a moving illusion
- of light and water, the words spoken by its occupants silent but clearly mouthed: "It is not
- just hatred and despair that consumes me!" Orlachmar cries, beseeching the Elders gathered to
- vote against the Elixir. "It is hunger! Hunger for destruction!" And you can sense it - that
- wrongness emanates from Him, reminiscent of the Soulless which devoured Amberle and who haunt
- your nightmares still. You had avoided Orlachmar, but now you understand why. Surely such a
- perversion of the soul cannot be your salvation? Fain's honeyed words cannot sway you, but you
- see the way the others' eyes light up with false hope. No, not hope. Desperation. One by one,
- an overwhelming tide of hands raise in support of the Elixir, and your heart sinks to see the
- Hamadhi among Them. Malmydia's betrayal you expect, but not Carsini's. He turns to see you at
- Eventru's side, your mutual refusal adamant, and a divide you cannot explain opens up between
- you. Some wounds you already know can never heal.
- Cheliyi blinks slowly, eyeing the illusion with a slight frown. "Mm. Is your brains okay? That
- was a bigly magics, Wanderer Glacydra."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist looks thoughtful and says, "Perhaps my
- illusory skill is magnified by the blessing of being in Lady Lantra's realm. I can be more
- succinct in the future."
- Watching the impressive display of illusory magic without, as ever, any
- expression upon his unmoving features, Avaris lowers his head to Glacydra in an approving
- gesture. "No need. That is a most useful ability for such discussions as these. Continue to do
- so in the future, Wanderer. My thanks." Turning to Cheliyi, he inquires, "What is the lesson
- pertaining to Wisdom, in this memory?"
- Subtly, Glacydra gives an immaculate stone basin to Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter.
- Cheliyi offers Glacydra a grateful grin, warbling thoughtfully at the question. "Our Lady saw
- what the Others seemingly refused to, back thens. She stood alone with few other Elders, but
- instead of being swayed by the mass opinions, she stayed truthful to Her wisdom. Sometimes,
- when we know a thing to be true, and our actions to be wise, we must stick to thems no matter
- what other may say." She hefts the basin in her hands, pausing again. "Trust your instincts,
- and do not let yourself be blinded by the soothing lies of others, no."
- The heavy, faintly effulgent feathers of Avaris's wings stir as he unclasps
- his upper left hand, withdrawing it from his back to unfurl his clawed fingers in invitation to
- Glacydra. "Your interpretation of such, Wanderer Glacydra? You may pass them the basin, Blessed
- Cheliyi."
- Humming softly, Cheliyi gives an immaculate stone basin to Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater,
- Wanderer in the Mist.
- Glacydra quietly stands still before glancing up at the statue of Lady Lantra in the chamber.
- They say, with the measured cadence of something carefully choosing their words, "Wisdom comes
- from experience, and much of it, from mistakes. It is impossible to know how a situation will
- turn out. Thus, I believe that memory was the crucible moment in which a decision was made, and
- the decision was wrong. Wisdom was derived from the outcome of that event, the use of the
- Elixir, which corrupted Orlachmar." They glance down at the basin, before passing it to the
- next individual.
- Carefully, Glacydra gives an immaculate stone basin to The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant
- of The Star.
- Faragan tilts his head and listens intently to you.
- The layered, curving blades that form Avaris's gleaming crest shine with the
- light of the chamber as he gives Glacydra a nod of affirmation, turning to watch Faragan. "You
- have the basin, Anointed. You may give your opinion on the vision, if you wish it."
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "I would say not that hte empyreal dissission was from instinct for even that
- can lead us wrong in knee jerk reactions. but, it was from her work as a homadhi she knew what
- hte flow of the imidivanus felt like flowing through an elder and what the soulless felt like
- through the first contact and the lady amberal but, I think it took her wisdom as a healter to
- reject what the others latched onto as a hope even with the proof of he folly of orlichmer
- before them. to stand with one of her first (the eexaltedl ord) but, against karseni must hve
- been hard but, she knew what was right not through instinct but knowledge, wisdom and who and
- what she was. I think we all could learn from this that a hope even if an empty and wrong one
- can lead many astray if they do not have the knowledge and developed wisdom. As it did many
- elders inthis instant and was to be prooven later very wrong."
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "Desperation an bring about hope in something you might not else h beleave in."
- Faragan steps back as he finishes.
- A look of understanding crossing her features, Cheliyi nods her head slowly.
- Glacydra nods in agreement, saying, "I have to agree with you, Anointed Faragan. Lady Lantra
- had a foundation of healer's Wisdom that helped Her realise the correct choice."
- Faragan lifts the basin in both furry paws unsure to hand it to.
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says to Cheliyi, "I think I understand more
- of what you were saying now, with the bridge of Anointed Faragan's thoughts."
- Cheliyi laughs sheepishly. "Am sorry my thoughts are not very clearly, no. But I guess I mix up
- instinct and the build knowledge from Wisdom a little too muchly."
- Warmly, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says to Faragan, "Thank you for your thinks, yes, it helps
- lots."
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says to Cheliyi, "I hope to help. I'm just an old bunny rambaling a lot of the time."
- With a nod of thanks to Faragan as the other Anointed steps back, Avaris slips
- his hand beneath the shimmering cloak of his folded wings once more. The lines of stark light
- that form the stylised eyes that adorn them shift, turning to study each of the others present
- simultaneously, listening with patient silence as they speak. "Wisdom is the last virtue that
- our Lady asks us to prove to Her, as part of our vows. I urge our Blessed and Wanderers both to
- contemplate it ahead of time, as it is, in my opinion, the most difficult of the four." His
- resonant chorus grows firm with a tone of command as he instructs Glacydra and Cheliyi, "Write
- a report on the status of your Order tasks and provide them to both myself and the other
- Anointed. We will discuss them with you, and if you require assistance in any fashion, or have
- questions, you are encouraged to come to us with such."
- Glacydra nods their head emphatically.
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "I shall, Incandescent."
- Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist says, "I'm afraid I must abruptly depart.
- Kindly excuse me, friends."
- Glacydra folds their hands at their waist and bows solemnly before rising again.
- You nod your head at Glacydra.
- Unraveling into bright colours, Glacydra vanishes in a watery blur as two painted koi fish
- gracefully follow them to the west.
- You sense the passage of Glacydra to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Faragan waves goodbye.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Ablutant Glacydra Coldwater, Wanderer in the Mist,
- "Thank you for attending, Wanderer Glacydra."
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "If we are done. I'll return the basin to the tatue."
- Cheliyi pauses, her expression unreadable for a moment as she considers you. She eventually
- nods. "Of coursely."
- Nodding to Faragan, Avaris says, "We are concluded in our discussion for this
- month, yes. Thank you both for attending, and for providing your input."
- Gently pressing three fingers to his brow, then drawing them to rest upon his heart, Faragan
- smiles at an immaculate stone basin and intones, "As above, so below." As the words leave his
- lips, a bright aura suffuses them both with a calm, soothing white light.
- The light of the Empyreal Goddess envelops an immaculate stone basin with dazzling brilliance,
- vanishing in a burst of light.
- Cheliyi blinks.
- With a flourish of his arm, Faragan bows deeply.
- Speaking softly in salubrious tones of erudition, The Ivory Dove, Faragan Ladyn, Merchant of
- The Star says, "Be well."
- Faragan spreads his arms wide, and the air between his hands begins to warp and twist, dancing
- with brilliant multicoloured light as he bores a hole through the fabric of the planes.
- A swirling gateway of brilliant light pierces the air before Faragan, boring a hole through the
- very fabric of the planes. Faragan ascends confidently through the rotating gate, which
- shimmers and snaps shut behind him.
- He is followed by an exalted ivory and gold dragon, a frisky puppy, and a blubbery sea lion
- pup.
- Faragan has left the area.
- Warbling softly, Ablutant Cheliyi Skydrifter says, "Mm, was my pleasures, yes. Have a nicely
- day."
- Cheliyi departs to the west.
