- [19:07] He thinks for a moment, and then nods.
- The Prince rises to a stand. "The Church. Follow me."
- (Alexander ras Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:08] Empty. Which seemed perfect for the occasion. Alexander reverently takes a seat.
- "I will allow you to go first," he offered a short, polite smile and then waited for what Kofe wished to say. It seemed especially relevant now.
- (Alexander ras Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:17] A church this empty was indeed perfect. Kofe took a seat right by the soon-to-be king, looking up towards the ceiling briefly before he shifted his focus back to Alexander, wearing a smile.
- "I think I ended up being the first person Alice went out and spoke to without a squad surrounding her. She was nervous and all— I didn't even know she was a princess until someone else came in and mentionned it."
- Talking to someone about their little sister was a precious subject, one that shouldn't be tampered with too much, but Kofe's intent laid far from what most boys would acost the prince about when it came to Alice.
- "She handled herself better than a thought. Even helped me think about my own studies. After meeting with your mom a few times I thought you guys would be as... y'know, rigid as her and all, but I think that came with time for her. She's told me that she used to take walks all the way near the roads that lead to the academy earlier today; doesn't sound like how she is right now.
- .. Anyway!" He caught his thoughts back up a bit.
- "Even when I saw her again and messed with her, she handled it like a pro. She's gonna make friends in no time."
- Like he said when he first mentionned that talk, Kofe was there to speak as someone who was an older brother. He knew that things would get busy; he'd heard about the crown being passed down really soon, too.
- "What about you? Ready to be the great King Alexander of Osrona?" He asked, grinning.
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:30] Talking about one's little sister was a precious subject and as such, Alexander does not interrupt, or divert his attention. He listens intently, shedding an ear just in case any problems cropped up. Thankfully, there is nothing of the sort and the Prince can rest easy, letting his worries settle.
- "I am glad you told me that and thank you for looking out for her. It is.. reassuring to hear that she is doing well. She has always been quiet, not as vocal as me or our sister, Eirene. But always a peaceful girl, faithful and polite. It is good she is opening up," he smiled a little, visibly happy and that smile settles a little with the next question of Kofe.
- "I am but time will tell if I will be great," words he might not have said a few days ago, but now, there was little doubts in the mind of the future King. That soft smile from the question settles in wake of the next topic.
- "I am going to have to break the mood with this next topicbecause there is something I have to ask. Before that though, I have not met Tea but I have heard about her. What is she like, has she always been so passionate?" a choice word for her more violent tendencies, but passionate seemed a good fit.
- (Alexander ras Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:36] The formalities of things were shedding down slowly, bit by bit. The confession of doubt about the future wasn't something any king would admit to. Though a man who's ready to expose his defeats makes for a much more interesting person than one who brags about lies.
- "Pshh. Okay, okay. You know how Alice is all quiet and proper and shy? How she'd awkwardly let anyone berate someone she cares about because she doesn't want to hurt their feelings? Tea's the complete opposite. She's a loud mouth, she's going to kick your ass eventually if you hang out around her, she's prideful about the things she's good at — like cooking — and isn't afraid to tell you to scram if you're just being annoying."
- Speaking of his own sister in a fond, yet honest way showed that he wasn't afraid to tell Alexander the truth. There was no sugarcoating with Tea, unless she was baking.
- "She threw apotted plant at your mom for even daring to ask us to stick in Osrona and make it our home. She's not afraid of being herself. 'Course... she's a girl, still. She's got feelings, a heart, things she cares about. You know how girls are. She's not a bad person, but..."
- He shrugged.
- "If you're honest with her, she'll tolerate you more. She's the worst liar I've seen, Alex."
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:55] Alexander hunkers down, putting elbows on knees and clasping his hands a moment. He occasionally looks to Kofe as he talks who recalls his sister and memories of her. The talk of violence obviously not as taboo for the rhoynish culture as it would be in Osrona. The mention of a pot plant being thrown at his mother obviously warrants a frown. Despite that, he listens.
- Some amusement at mention of the worst liar. "Ah. So she is like that. Strange her and Alice have such different hair colours as well, almost like opposites in every way."
- As Kofe finishes, the Prince turns his gaze forward for a few moments and frames his thoughts and following words.
- "I already found one answer from that.. The reason I am asking about Tea is because I will have the ability to make a decision about her and your sentences," his forward stare turns to Kofe.
- "Now, I am not offering anything and I will not make any promises. But. I will say this. I spoke to Romani and he had a good point. He told me how you might consider staying in Osrona, you have friends here. I feel like that is unlikely for Tea though."
- "I am telling you this brother to brother. If I do consider letting Tea out soon, while we are still in war, you will have to understand she will not be in Osrona's care anymore. This would mean if she did go back to Illburg to join the war against Myllenoris, or even against us, that she could get hurt or worse. Not only is that a risk for me, as my people could suffer against her, but it is also a risk for you. She will not be my responsibility and whatever happens to her, she will be judged for her crimes like any other."
- "And if she does join the war effort to help Illburg. Or you do, you will not be permitted to stay in Osrona." A deep inhale, it was a lot of words.
- "Ideally, the situation would be different but I do not think Penelope will stop until Osrona suffers. So, I amtelling you so you have a full story. If I were you in this case and that was my reckless sister, I would want to know."

- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:10] A proposal was made, one that made sense with how people foretold of Alexander's crowning. His lips grew into a wider smile as he looked up towards the ceiling, tall, magnificent, and decorated to honor the stars themselves. A beautiful place to have that discussion, if any.
- "I'm her brother, and you get how I feel too. I'd rather not see her die, but..." He heaved his shoulders up a bit, far more laidback than the prince.
- "Her fights are hers. We're family. We're part of a clan. My home is in Ilburg, not in Osrona. And I know just why my clan is pushing war in this direction. Sure, they want us back, but... we're not savages. Granny still knows how to speak to people. If the Kingdom makes an effort to stretch a hand out towards Ilburg, then Ilburg'll take it."
- A pause, and a hard truth. He wasn't an expert on politics, nor did he want to involve himself in such, but...
- "We have no room to grow. Both in size and for food. People steal because they can't eat, because we've been pushed into a corner where there's nothing but harsh sands and monsters. My people aren't the type to betray their allies, but at the same time, we're not the type to handle peace for very long. I don't know how the war looks right now, and if things are going well or not for any side at all, but...
- Land. Land, alliance in war against others, and an apology for the indiscriminate way Rhoynish were handled."
- He looked a bit more serious. Not too common for Kofe, but this was a serious matter. Yellow eyes finally fell upon the prince.
- "It's a big one, but it's the only way both our people are going to stop fighting."
- He had completely forgotten why the subject was brought on in the first place. Right. Tea.
- "I know what my sister's about. I know she'll risk herlife in battle. I told your mother that if she had to be executed in the future, that it should be in battle. Her battles are hers, Alex. Even if I'd rather not see her dead, I won't stop her from living her life to the fullest."
- He paused for a moment, giving a thought about his own stance on the war.
- "I'll hardly join the war. If I'm on the battlefield it'll most likely be to watch, and remember. I... plan to become the Lorespeaker of our clan. The one who passes down stories, tales, traditions. That's why Tea told me to run back when we first got caught; if a single Rhoynish has to survive an attack it should be the one who'll keep our culture alive. I've accepted that long ago."
- Another pause, this time one that lead to a grin.
- "Plus, how else are we supposed to hang out if the army's ready to kill me on sight? Sure, there's the sewers, but... It's not very kingly."
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:27] Molly whispers: I'm very sorry for this intrusion! Hello, I am Molly. I see your weapon shucks sir, so here's a voucher. The best weapons of Osrona and very cheap.. if you come, you get a free upgrade too. Goodbye!
- [20:35] Alexander seemed glad that a brief connection could be made. An understanding for the other side, for why Illburg was the way it was. No doubt Kofe's words would impact the Prince's future decisions.
- "..You do have a point," he says in regards to the final words of Kofe. Alexander still pensive in contemplation, though there is a little amusement at the joke.
- Eventually he breaks the silence to give his full response to what was said. He starts softly.
- "I do not hate the rhoynish like my mother. I have grown up with them as retainers. And they have changed my mind on your sentences. It is a big ask. Mainly because I do not want to be the man who betrays his allies," in regards to Myllenoris. Still, it would be a storybook ending. Old enemies band together, the Rhoynish warriors and the Knights to free the world from demons and the vile dragon on the mountain.
- "Hmmm," he pauses a second. "A lorespeaker, you seem quite important yourself," the long limbs of the Prince press into the ground as he rises up and he pats a hand to Kofe's shoulder.
- "Thank you for the talk and telling me of Tea. It eased my mind on her. Hopefully, we can talk on better terms next time." While a light-hearted talk like they started off with would have been nice the whole way through, Alexander was determined. He had a one track mind and stresses on him. Often busy as well.
- "I will make sure a decision is made soon. No promises, but let's hope the stars look favourably upon us."
- The Prince makes his way to depart shortly after.

- [20:44]
- {LOAD GAME}
- [20:48] "Yeah, I agree. A church is a pretty lame place to hang out. How about next time we do it outside where the weather's nice and we have something to eat or drink."
- Those aforementionned good terms were something that definitely poked at the prince in a way that left him far, far too formal. Though Kofe seemed to already have accepted him as he was; with noble intent and thoughts in one hand and honesty in the other, the future king had managed to make a friend.
- "I'm no lorespeaker yet. I'm not even an adult until I undergo my trial."
- Alas, a story for another time. With the touch on his shoulder, Kofe rose up his left fist where Alexander would pass, offering a bump of it instead.
- "You should go talk to her before you get that crown. And you don't... always have to be all super formal, politics are boring, but that doesn't mean you gotta be.
- You're honest, and I like that."
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:56] There is a nod in recognition of those words and Alexander bumps said fist.
- And in regards to the formality? "I'll remember that. Thank you. You're easy to talk to yourself." And he exits.
- (Alexander ras Petrakis)
