[21:57]	Vern|GM	The glowing crystals on the ceiling gave the city a blue tint as the things spoken about in stories that were supposed to scare children walked around. Skeletons and zombies lived in something that could almost be described as a society, and the leaders were mostly the strongests of each.
[21:58]	Vern|GM	You are of the Necromancers. Wizards who took their research too far, who tapped into the powers of the darkness that lurks underneath the surface of the earth.
[21:59]	Vern|GM	But yet, you did not choose to join the larger groups that have hid themselves away in towers and dungeons for their research, no. You decided to live here, in the nexus of all that is undead, the Tomb, as it is called, an underground city equaling the capital city in size and numbers of inhabitants.
[22:00]	Vern|GM	But you are still young. Your research at the very start, without the access to the notes that the groups had. While this meant you would need to work twice as hard, the reward should equal your efforts.
[22:01]	Vern|GM	Your research lab was also your home, a small bag in the corner for when you needed to sleep, and reagents you managed to gather on your own, without venturing too deep into the Necropolis below. Books, largely empty, waiting for your knowledge to be imparted on them. All that you needed now was to gather that knowledge. ||

[22:13]	Mishie|Necro	I lift my head off of my workbench that I had been totally not napping on.  No time for any of that nonsense, I can sleep when I'm dead!  I quickly go over to my timepiece to check the time, hopefully I hadn't missed midnight, it would be incredibly awkward if my ritual was ruined by something so stupid.
[22:16]	Mishie|Necro	Luckily, I still had at least a few hours to finish off any last minute preparation for the ritual.  I started to rush around my workshop, grabbing various reagents and putting them into place around the circle, making sure to place them in the correct places.
[22:16]	Mishie|Necro	The Hourglass, emblem of human life, placed at the head of the body.
[22:17]	Mishie|Necro	The Scythe, the emblem of time that cuts the frail threads of life, and launches us into eternity, placed in it's hand.
[22:19]	Mishie|Necro	The Spade, the emblem representing that all nature dies and lives again, placed in it's left hand.
[22:20]	Mishie|Necro	And finally, a humble sprig of acacia, symbol of immortality placed over it's heart.
[22:23]	Mishie|Necro	These emblems are but tools to aid my casting, to enforce upon the mind the solemn thoughts of death.  Which to those without the proper knowledge and instruction, is dark and gloomy.  But to to those that truly understand death, they instead strengthen them with confidence and composure to look beyond the grave to the glorious immortality that awaits them.
[22:27]	Mishie|Necro	In the state that I'm in now, I can barely hear the bells ringing out to signal midnight, and as if in a trance I draw forth my dagger slice open my palm.  Turning it over to allow the blood to drip into the corpses open mouth.
[22:28]	Mishie|Necro	No words are needed for this.  Actions speak far louder to the forces that I'm dealing with.

[22:29]	Vern|GM	The circle began to glow, the starting a small hover above the ground, keeping the formation.
[22:30]	Vern|GM	The intent was that of a creature that would aid you, and the unholy midnight hour aided the spell massively. You could feel it as red and black lightning cackled around the reagents and your blood began to form into 0x1dsomething0x1d.
[22:31]	Vern|GM	Formless at first, a blob of red, it turned into a more humanoid shape, the reagents dissolving in the air, giving it limbs.
[22:33]	Vern|GM	The acacia dissolved last, ramming into the humanoid form and sending a bloodcurling scream through your laboratory.
