Oribaghor, the pit fiend, fled to Dis.

A unique Erinyes emerged from the portal, and attempted to approach the party, before they fled. When she noticed they fled, she teleported ahead of them to the portal to engage in discourse.

The party returned to the portal and cautiously approached her.

She informed the party Lord Darkwater wishes to attack the well of dragons within a week. She revealed she is in the service of Dispater, the Iron Duke of Dis, the second layer of Baator.

She propositioned the party to agree to 'returning' an 'artifact the size of a jar' within the well of dragons. She would not elaborate on what the artifact itself is. If they agreed to her terms, she claimed her lord would offer a 'small force of pit fiends' to assist in the assault. The party realized she was lowballing them and did not decline the offer, but said they needed to talk it over at a later time. She acquiesced. The description of the item she claimed her master wants potentially matches the phylactery of a lich. The party is unsure of why he would want this object.

The party checked in on the demiplane, and found a few foundations finished, and some crop fields sown, and trees planted. The mine has begun to be dug.

During their rest, Cassius noticed intruders and rallied his allies to dispatch them. It appeared to be a thrall of Juiblex and a couple of elder black puddings. The party tactically dealt with them, and kept the thrall alive. Among his belongings, they looted a helm of teleportation.
