Dusk Falls - Fire Emblem Fates Music Extended

In the upper districts, at the west of the city on a landing that overlooked the plains around Avarine, a tune played. In the center of the landing, perhaps just a little to the side, a fair sized group stood, each with instrument in hand and playing. Most looked well and fine, except for the tallest man in the group. He didn't look Zaldisian, and even if he was, his instrument certainly was not.(edited)

At the edge of the landing, just out of the corner of one's eye, a woman stood at the landing's bannisters, observing the view and savoring the music. Just as the man with the strange instrument, her dress betrayed her as someone of foreign origin.

Saltbeard was 100% sober and definitely not about to drink some more. He passed by a group playing music and he actually really enjoyed it, because he is a man of taste and culture. As a big promoter of the arts, Saltbeard does what any appreciator of the fine arts would do: stand there and listen.

The band all took note, but they didn't mind letting him listen. Music was meant to be listened to, after all. During a bit where his bagpipes weren't needed, the foreign man stroked his own red beard and nodded to the white bearded man.

Despite closing his eyes to focus on listening to the music, the moment the foreign man gave his attention to Saltbeard, Saltbeard sensed a sort of brotherhood and stroked his beard back, nodding his head in return.

Another hymn or two later, the well dressed woman gave a flick of the wrist, and the music soon drew to its close for now. None set down their instruments though, so it seemed this was but a small reprieve.

"E'erythin' looks t'same t'me, whether it be large fishies or giant eight-legged squids, 'ey all be animals in t'end, jus' like how t'ones we been fightin' on t'land wit' t'royal crew all looked like some sorta animals." And this was true, he genuinely thought monster enemies were just another type of animals.
