  1. What's in a name?
  2.
  3. To many a name like Peter Petspuppies is just a silly name. To some it stirs feelings of honor and gratitude.
  4.
  5. To many a name like Dwarf Fighter is just a silly name. To some it stirs feelings of fear and caution.
  6.
  7. Both men came from different paths. For Dwarf Fighter his path was set at a very early age. Sold in to slavery he was never given a proper name. "Hey!" "Here!" and "Dwarf" were the few names he knew. As he grew older his caretakers noticed that Dwarf Fighter was capable of many physical feats his peers could not keep up with. At first used as a display to showoff to guests he was eventually resold to a new master. A master of a grand collesium.
  8.
  9. It was here he was given his true name, Dwarf Fighter. It was simple, yet effective. Being the only Dwarf in these barbaric games he was a consistent underdog. Always having to overcome the odds against his size. For over 5 years he fought and bested many races and creatures. Dwarf Fighter the Dwarf Fighter became on of the most popular attractions.
  10.
  11. But after years of blood and captivity he needed a change.
  12.
  13. Thus entered a man of the other silly name, Peter Petspuppies. A valiant and noble man who by happenstance stumbled upon one of the numerous victories of Dwarf Fighter. It's hard to place what, but Peter saw something in the gladiator. Maybe a spark? A light? Potential? A use? Who could say?
  14.
  15. Under the cover of night Peter met with Dwarf Fighter and offered him an out. He would help the dwarf escape this life of servitude on one condition.
  16.
  17. "You must seek no revenge. No blood, no anger, simply walk away with your head held high."
  18.
  19. Dwarf Fighter contemplated this offer for nearly an hour. For decades the desire for revenge had kept him alive. The recurring dream of wrapping his hands around his captors neck and squeezing until their eyes bulged from their skull was his only solace. And now he was told to let go. To leave that burning hatred aside despite it being the only trait hw used to define himself.
  20.
  21. Anger.
  22.
  23. Hatred.
  24.
  25. Revenge.

  29.
  30. He let it go.
  31.
  32. Peter Petspuppies was the first and only man to ever look at Dwarf Fighter and give him a choice and not an order. So he chose life. What happened after has never been confirmed. Only legends and drunken tales exist of the greatest mass-slave escape where no blood was shed on either side.
  33.
  34. From then on Dwarf Fighter joined Peter Petspuppies to fight and travel together. Not as slave and owner. But as friends.
