Lets make a plan

Alexithymiaa: -Steph stood next to the bed with her crutches underneath each arm, an old playlist playing from the little set of speakers on Felix's dresser. Using the end of her crutch, she tried to poke at the handle of her suitcase that was underneath her bed, struggling to try to hook it so she could pull it out. Nice sounds of old Krewella filled the room to drown out her grumbling.-
Alexithymiaa: (I want that shirt. Like... for me.)
Covet: [like.. rl? XD]
Alexithymiaa: (YES.)
Covet: Felix came back into the house, he'd taken Penny and Nugget out for a walk, of which was more like Felix holding Nugget after about five minutes to keep Penny from practically dragging him along the side walk. It was an exhausting walk, and hew as glad to have the dogs back inside. "There, leashes off, you're naked, be free." He told them as he put the leashes away, then made his way into the bedroom where he heard music coming from.
Alexithymiaa: -She turned her head to look at Felix as he came into the room, exhaling deeply in frustration. "Oh good you're back. Can you pull this out and put it on the bed?" She said, gesturing to the suitcase with the end of her crutch.-
Covet: "Sure thing." He told her getting it out, "You're not leaving me are you? Finally fed up with me? You're taking my dog too?" He asked teasing just to be a butt
Alexithymiaa: "Yes. I'm leaving you and I'm doing it while you're home and you're helping me get my suitcase to do so." She said with a laugh, giving him a nudge with her elbow. "The Kittens have a meeting with the label Thursday morning, so I need to go to New York for a couple days."-
Covet: "Oh, I see." Felix said with a nod as he puled the suitcase up onto the bed. "Question.. how do you plain on managing your pain while you're gone?" He asked her. "Should I talk to Bryan and see if CJ can administer them?"
Alexithymiaa: "Way ahead of you." She said a little smuggly, shifting to sit on the bed and leaning her crutches against the mattress. "I already talked to Bryan. CJ is off on Thursday so she's going to come with us to the meeting and help me, and Bryan is taking off on Friday to help me."-
Covet: "Oh wow... You actually told him and everything?" Felix said a little shocked because she never tells him anything. " Like if I called him up right now he'd say the same?"
Alexithymiaa: -She paused, chewing on the inside of her cheek. "I told him.... things." She said casually, scratching at the backof her head and trying to act normal. "They think I just need some help getting around in the city."-
Covet: "Right.. that's what I thought. Do they know that you're taking pain killers right now?" Felix asked her, crossing his arms.
Alexithymiaa: -She opened her mouth to speak, promptly closing it. "No.... but I think, all things considered, that I've been really responsible with them and it's something I can handle for a few days on my own."-
Covet: "I don't know how comfortable I feel about that. I trust you, but I know that if Bryan found out that I let you do that... you know I'd be a dead man. You might as well make a tinder account now if you think that's going to fly." Felix told her.
Alexithymiaa: "But-" She started to protest, listening to him go on a bit more. Her shoulders slumped forward, her eyes dropping to her hands in her lap. "It's not about Bryan. It's about the fact that I'm an adult who can manage my own medication."-
Covet: "I know that. But your brother is going to be nosey as fuck about it, already, depsite what he's been told. You should probably tell him the full situation while you're there too. He'd appreciate hearing about it in person." Felix told her , reaching for her hands to give them a squeeze
Alexithymiaa: "It's none of his business. He's my brother, not my keeper. If I don't want to tell him something, that's my choice. It's bad enough I can't do anything for myself right now. Why can't I have just this one thing? One thing that makes me feel like I'm not a child that needs to be babysat." She curled her fingers around his, squeezing them back and looking up into his face.-
Covet: " Steph, you know why. He's going to find out about it anyways, because he's going to have to sign off on the surgery." Felix told her softly. "Do it with CJ there, she can help keep Bryan from losing his shit, and be the doctor about it."
Alexithymiaa: "I know. I know... I just feel so helpless." She pulled hher hand from his and pushed the stray hair away from her eyes, pouting. "I hate this."-
Covet: "I know, but it's not going to be like this for forever, Red." He told her moving so that he could wrap around her. "It's going to get better, we just gotta get through the shit first."
Alexithymiaa: -She shot him a look, completely unamused. "I know we've only been together like a year and a lot of this is new for you, but this is not new for me and everyone has told me that for the last ten years. At what point are we through the shit and things actually going to be better?"-
Covet: "Okay fine, if you want to be pessimestic about it, sure there's always shit. But it's not always the same shit. THIS SHIT..." He said pointing to her knee. " Won't be for forever.It's just for, for now. You know you'll be back on your feet doing things for yourself again, in the recommended time....because you're way too determined to let other people you out for longer than necessary"
Alexithymiaa: "How can I not be pessimistic about it? If it's not one thhing, it's another. When do I just get to enjoy my career and my hobbies and my boyfriend without having to wade through the shit to do that?" She frowned, her eyes swinging to look at her suitcase. "I hhavent even had the surgery yet and I'm already going nuts. I want to be able to go to work. Or get in my car and run my own errands. Go to dance class..."-
Covet: "The sooner you get the surgery, the sooner you can get back to doing those things, in moderation." Felix told her. "It's never going to be all on one scale Red. There's always going to be good and bad. You know that. "
Alexithymiaa: "I dont think I'm asking for that much. Most people have the luxury of normal day to day activities as a twenty something. I can barely breathe without Bryan's permission. And yeah, he's gotten better, but is it always going to be like this? What happens when I'm married and have my own family? Do I care for my own children, but my big brother still gets to oversee me?"-
Covet: "No of course not. But the more that you show you can take responsibility for yourself and do the right things, even if they suck and you don't like it....the more he's going to continue to get better. He doesn't want to keep this over you for the rest of your life or anything, I'm sure he doesn't get any sort of glee in doing that. He wants to give that power back to you, but he also knows you better than probably anyone else close to you. So he's not going to just give it back to you without making sure it's the right thing for you."
Alexithymiaa: -She tipped her head to the side, resting it on his shoulder. "I thought I was doing a pretty good job of being resposible for myself and making the right decisions. It's hard not to be impatient. I know it sounds stupid, but I love to dance and just move, and the fact that I can't do that at all right now, it just feels like I have no outlet and everything else seems worse."-
Covet: Felix rested his head on hers and rubed her head. "You are. And you have to keep doing it. It sucks, but it will come around." He said, then tilted his head, "Then, why don't we make an outlet. Let's focus on the things we can do now to help make this process go as smooth and quick as possible. I'll be your personal cheer leader, keep you feeling peppy?"
Alexithymiaa: -She lifted her head a bit, raising her brows at him. "And how exactly do you intend to make an outlet when I can't do anything?"-
Covet: "We're going to make a goal chart." Felix told her with a yawn." Not right now, but we can this week. " I'm sure there's things that the doctor wants you to do in order to prep for the surgery, So we can work on that little bit by little bit. And that will continue after too, to keep you going."
Alexithymiaa: "The only things I needed to do to prepare for surgery last time was full blood work and healthy meals - which I have been very good about, mind you." She said with a quick point at him because she wanted credit for that. The song on her playlist switched over to one of Aubrey's older songs, her face instantly wrinkling. "Ugh, turn this off."-
Covet: "I know, I just wasn't sure if there were exercise things beforehand at all. But if it's just healthy meals then I'll figure out other things we can work on. Like the appointments that need set up pre and post... Physical therapy. That way you can see it all laid out in front of you and everything is organized." He said then got up to change the music, "Was that the runaway bride?"
Alexithymiaa: "Last time they didn't want me doing any sort of physical activity until after the surgery and I was healed enough to start building the muscle again. Things might be different this time though." She said with a shrug, shifting backwards to lean back against the pillows to prop herself up, her hands moving to her knee brace to begin unstrapping it. "It was. And that song used to be a cute song about my brother. And now it's just nauseating."-
Covet: "Then why do you still have it on your playlists?" Felix asked her as he pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it into the laundry.
Alexithymiaa: "This is an old playlist that I didnt thoroughly go through before I put it on. I was more feeling the old EPs of Krewella at the beginning." She pulled her knee brace off her leg and leaned over the side of the bed, setting it down to lean against the nightstand.-
Covet: "Oh, gotcha." He told her, then looked at her, "Anything you need before I get in bed and get my hearing aid out?"
Alexithymiaa: -She nodded, holding her hand out toward him. "Yeah, I just need one thing."-
Covet: Felix stuck his hand out and put it in hers, gasping, "Me? Oh you're so sweet."
Alexithymiaa: -She pulled him close to her, leaning up to give him a passionate kiss before she released him. "Now get your ass in bed."-
Covet: "Yes, Ma'am" He said with a grin doing just that, getting all cuddly and handsy-ish before the sleeps
