Diaa Mohamed - Head of the Australian Muslim Party was former General Manager of Muslim Aid (Australia).

Muslim Aid (International) was previously a "partner organization" of the Al-Salah Islamic Association. The U.S. government has officially designated Al Salah a terrorist entity.

Muslim Aid has extremely strong links to the Jamaat-e-Islami Terrorist Organisation.

The Telegraph (UK) has previously reported allegations that Muslim Aid (International), a charity established by activists from Jamaat-e-Islami, the sub-continental cousin of the Muslim Brotherhood, had channelled funds to eight organisations linked to the terrorist groups Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

A Former Chairman of Muslim Aid (International) Chowdhury Mueen-Uddin was a convicted war criminal for killing Bengali intellectuals in collaboration with Pakistan army at the time of Bangladesh liberation war. In 1972, The New York Times reported that he "has been identified as the head of a secret, commando-like organization of fanatic Moslems".

Dr. Hani El-Banna was a previous trustee of Muslim Aid (International). A number of Bangladeshi commentators have accused Muslim Aid of funding the violent Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami, while El-Banna was involved.
