[20:04]	Arkalest	Sabina: You pass by walls covered in holographic displays and actual paintings that showcase vistas from all around NM- Storm-wracked cliffs at night, endless jungles, the crown-like arrays of skyscrapers in the expanse of a city...
[20:07]	Arkalest	There are a few notice boards, written in NM script and shifting images around- One of them contains images of places inside the hab, another one of what appear to be spaceship and vehicle types- Right as you stumble into the entrance to the garden.
[20:08]	Arkalest	It's a semispherical room, and judging by the trees inside, it has got to be quite sizeable. There are fully grown ones inside there, underneath a halo of grey lights. Insects flit about the  trees, and you can hear the murmur of water coming from somewhere between the pseufdo-forest.
[20:13]	Sabina	steps through the doorway, taking the sights and sounds in
[20:14]	Arkalest	Sabina: The walls are thick with condensation, and the air inside is fresh- Vaguely smelling of rain somehow.  You spot Jocelyn sitting at the base of a tree there.
[20:14]	Arkalest	She has her head reclined against the trunk, eyes closed. Not far from her, a wolf-morph sits, wearing a constable uniform- Same pose as Jocelyn, arms folded into her lap.
[20:20]	Sabina	glances at Jocelyn before making her way to the wolf-morph, pausing a polite distance away
[20:23]	Arkalest	Sabina: Roughly taller than Tuissant, with a long grey mane of hair, the morph is clouded by blue and silvery thoughts of sadness, soft edged. Jocelyn acknowledges you with a nod, eyes still closed- And the wolf frowns, ears twitching. Her pelt is a soft grey, with darker accents. "I  don't believe we've met?"
[20:23]	Sabina	"Nor I." She bows "Sabina Norland, at your service."
[20:23]	Arkalest	Her UD pidging is harsh-edged, and her voice is softly coarse, troubled. "Therese Dubiers."
[20:32]	Sabina	"It's a nice to meet you."

[01:50]	Arkalest	"Same." She sounds slightly sour-throated, her Constable uniform slightly damp with condensation.
[01:55]	Arkalest	Jocelyn quitely unfolds, springing up with a careful, nearly ballerina-like way, and makes ehr way to the door. Therese clears her throat quietly. "So, you're one of the psionics, right?"
[01:57]	Sabina	"I am, though I only arrived here 3 days ago, so I'm rather new."
[01:59]	Arkalest	An awkward cough escapes her lips. "I am not..Sure how to answer that."
[02:01]	Sabina	"Sorry. . Well, I wanted to familiarize myself with the other sections. I've seen a fair bit of the Psionics Department, but I'd feel remissive if I didn't try and understand how the larger sections worked either."
[02:02]	Arkalest	She remains silent for a few second, slowly joining her hands. "I...I See? That's, uh, a nice proposition.."

[02:17]	Sabina	She smiles "I'm glad you think so. My brother always told me that you need to get along with all of your coworkers if you want to do well in law enforcement."
[02:18]	Arkalest	Sabina: Dubiers awkawardly shifts her long legs, joining her hands slowly. "Uhm....A question but.."
[02:18]	Arkalest	"How old are you?"
[02:18]	Sabina	"16."
[02:18]	Arkalest	She makes a sort of "Uh" noise at the mention of law enforcement, ears twitching- And green eyes opening at the mention of your age, in surprise if anything.

[02:24]	Sabina	nods

[02:27]	Arkalest	An awkward silence falls, and she twiddles her thumbs- Hands muscular and sleek. "..........So."

[02:30]	Sabina	"With the Constables, or what I did back at home?"
[02:31]	Sarah	"Offically no idea? Inoffically, I am here because I can hunt, am more used to lowtech and good at stopping robots permanently, and of course as a line of comunication between the constables and the new herd of people that emigrated here"

[02:32]	Arkalest	".....Well, the Constables." She speaks hesitantly, as if the last words did not make sense.
[02:35]	Sabina	"I've lent my services as a telepath and a Instrumentalist to the Constables, I've only just arrived here a few days ago, so I'm not entirely sure what my normal duties will entail here however."
[02:42]	Arkalest	"....Oh." It's a very small sound- At odds with her lanky, wide frame.
[02:42]	Arkalest	THe wave of fear that ripples across her is bigger.
[02:42]	Arkalest	Way bigger.
[02:43]	Arkalest	Sabina: SHe smells faintly of rain and primulae, you realize- Of books, of plastic and coffee.
[02:45]	Sabina	bows her head. "I'm sorry, I did not intend to scare you. That was not my intention."
[02:54]	Arkalest	The wolf curves her head down, ears laid flat to her skull. " 'S okay, I am a bit of a....Let's just say it's not your fault. "
[02:56]	Sabina	"I understand. I know that the Instrument puts many people at ill-ease. I'm not going to hold that against anyone."
[03:06]	Arkalest	":........" She closes her eyes, and awkward silence falls between the two of you.
[03:07]	Sabina	"I, uh, won't keep you if you would like to go."
[03:14]	Arkalest	".........No, I..."
[03:15]	Arkalest	A sigh escapes her lips. "I am just not sure hwhat you'd get out of talking with me? I...I am just a...You know, a desk jockey."
[03:17]	Sabina	"I wasn't intending to "get" anything out of you, rather I was just hoping to talk with someone and get a better idea of how things work, maybe meet some friendly faces."
[03:22]	Arkalest	She sinks a bit into the mossy grass, looking away with canine guilt- Ears held low, tail curling around her waist. "I...I see.."
[03:22]	Sabina	"But I won't keep you either if you'd rather I leave."

[03:30]	Arkalest	A sighe scapes her lips. "....Nevermind. Is..:There anything I can help you with?"
[03:30]	Arkalest	"Just- Any question in particular?"
[03:30]	Sabina	"Can I ask what you do exactly?"
[03:34]	Arkalest	"I am a glorified accountant, more or less. Sign that, keep these numbers in check, approve that document.."
[03:37]	Sabina	"Not the most exciting of work, but it's still important I think. Both of my parent's fulfilled administrative duties for the clan, so I may be somewhat biased however."
[03:43]	Arkalest	"You were born into the life as well?" Her ears perk up slightly.
[03:44]	Sabina	She nods "I was raised from a early age for my role."
[03:50]	Arkalest	"THat's...Sort of weird, if I may say anything? And kind of terrifying, but, I, ah, can't really speak that out from a moral standpoint since well- I was raised around Constables as well."
[03:52]	Sabina	"Please, speak your mind. I promise not to take offense." She nods "And really it's for the best. I was the one most suited for taking the Instrument, and it must be held in order for it to be best defended. I only actually received it about 6 months ago when the previous Keeper passed, and that was sooner than we had anticipated."
[03:56]	Arkalest	"No, I mean I can't-" She tugs at her own rist. "Criticize yourself, as...Well, you may have noticed the surname. I've spent a...Yeah, a lot of time around Constables ever since I was.." her eyelids half-lid. "Mmh, six? Seven?"
[03:56]	Arkalest	"MAybe younger."
[03:58]	Sabina	"I know, I just wanted to explain the context."
[04:10]	Arkalest	"And that sounds quite a bit of a heavy legacy, frankly speaking. I assume you're in a semi-administrative position as well?"
[04:11]	Sabina	"More of a advisory one, but it is a position with a great deal of responsibility."
[04:18]	Arkalest	"Yeah, I...I can imagine.."
[04:22]	Sabina	"So, you said you were raised here? May I ask what that was like?"
[04:23]	Arkalest	She leans against the tree. "A bit like the military, I guess? ANd it was half here, half on the Homeworld."
[04:24]	Sabina	nods
[04:31]	Arkalest	"And, well, it was...I mean, I do not even have a social account, which has got to be like- I bet you're even wondering why you can't find me on the nets."
[04:31]	Sabina	blinks
[04:31]	Sabina	"I don't have one either, I never even thought to look."
[04:32]	Arkalest	"........Ah. Well, uh, that makes it the two of us?" Her voice becomes warmer.
[04:32]	Sabina	"I'm not even sure what that actually is." She fiddles with her hands
[04:33]	Sabina	"Or rather, what it fully entrails. I assume it's some sort of social network account."
[04:33]	Arkalest	"...SOrt of? I mean it's like, ah, you use it as a resume, an account for networking and whatnot?"
[04:34]	Sabina	"Oh, I see."
[04:35]	Arkalest	"It's...Many things, but I've been always using the local grid here.."
[04:37]	Sabina	nods
[04:38]	Arkalest	"You know it is- Close knit things, in which everyone knows anyo9ne. You grow there, steepled in the local atttitude and customs and whatnot.."
[04:39]	Sabina	"Yes, that sounds very much like home."
[04:43]	Arkalest	She nods slowly. "Yeah, and it's..A very much go-getter culture here, I guess? A bit separate from NM primary, so you'd have to forgive our...Weirdness."
[04:44]	Sabina	"I'm from the UD, so I'm not sure to compare it. Even then the clan was rather. . . insular."
[04:52]	Arkalest	 "Aaaah, that explains the body-plan. " She falls silent. "I...Got to admit there isn't a lot of things I know about the UD."
[04:53]	Arkalest	"Mostly Ringvolk and NM, as the superiors wanted.."
[04:54]	Sabina	"In terms of where the Agents from this Precient hail from?"
[04:58]	Arkalest	"Yes."
[04:59]	Sabina	"Mm, is it alright if I ask why? I'm simply curious."
[05:01]	Arkalest	"It's...A matter of stellar distances and favorable past relations. Rinvgolk traders have helped in the past with the expansion and settling of NM's frontier, and so the previouc Chiefs looked at them with a favorable eye.."
[05:01]	Sabina	She nods "It's natural to fall back on those who have you treated well with in the past."
[05:08]	Arkalest	"Indeed. SO far, our trust has not been misplaced.."
[05:08]	Sabina	"That's good to hear."
