  59. -rotom-w
  60. rotom working overtime this weak. this mon can check gliscor, azu to an extent, stakataka to an extent, sandslash-a, as well as hard walls tflame and has good bulk for his other physical attackers. so determining which of these rotom's job will be checking at team preview based on what he brings will be very important. the rest of the team is built to check everything and lighten the load for rotom. as for its specfic set, it does basically what its been doing. physically bulky mon the burns stuff or gets momentum with volt switch. pain split when you get low on hp. this is a free switch in on tflame regardless of the set, so i dont think he'll bring it, but if he does, you have rotom. rotom is faster than ada azu and +speed nature m-abomasnow. he brought non-mega abomasnow once, and if its speed invested it will be faster than rotom. the one time he brought that, it was scarf, so if you see him not mega his aboma, just keep that option in mind. rotom also comes in pretty freely on sandslash-a, which will be very important if he has hail up. i would prioritize using rotom to check those mons particularly.
  61.
  62. -donphan
  63. donphan is going to be your lead. its designed to trade with galvantula lead because webs are so bad for you in this MU. the set allows you to KO galvantula with EQ into ice shard. if he leads galv, ALWAYS eq turn 1. early high risk predictions are bad. if he attacks you turn 1, just ice shard him next turn. if he gets up webs turn 1, spin immediately turn 2, then ice shard turn 3. again, no prediction necessary. if he goes gengar to spinblock turn 2, eq turn 3. gengar cant hurt you too much (and you should be at full hp at this point in this scenario). if he attacks and sacs gengar and brings in something like azu or abomasnow, you probs cant spin webs (theyll kill you first because now your sturdy is broken), but your donphan should still be relatively healthy and maybe can spin them later so save donphan.
  64.
  65. -heliolisk
  66. the speedy mon this week. it stops a potential belly drum azu from sweeping because of dry skin and tbolt knocks it out. if he brings azu, i expect it to be AV or banded play rough spam. your way of dealing with it is essentially... everything on your team except donphan is faster LOL. heliolisk also outspeeds ada azu after webs. he did bring jolly once... but... i dont think jolly is that scary. and helio is obvs way faster than either anyway. this has potential to sweep late game. need gliscor down to like 65%ish for surf to KO, hp fire wrecks sandslash-a and regular abomasnow, and does 70% min to max hp m-aboma.
  67.
  68. -xatu
  69. this is your main gliscor switch in. gliscor legit cant touch this unless he's SD + Facade/rock slide, and if thats his set you can revenge kill with helio. bounce back stealth rocks and toxics. yache berry + heat wave is there in case something goes terribly wrong and you need a backup abomasnow check. reflect is a cool tech because his team is a tonnnn of physical attackers, so this mitigates a lot of his threatening stuff. but for the most part, youre gonna wanna u-turn when you bring this in on gliscor.
  70.
  71. -metagross
  72. this is your initial abomasnow check. resists grass and ice, shuca weakens its eq, hp fire cant kill you and meteor mash wrecks his shit. this is also your rocker, so use your judgement as to whether you wanna attack or set rocks. be sure to 2nd guess that decision for the entire game :P anywho, if the shuca is still intact, you can ice punch the gliscor or hammer arm the sandslash. hammer arm also hits stakataka and eq shouldnt knock you out from full, and preventing that thing from trick rooming is a super high priority. make sure you calc before clicking buttons with him. we only take favorable trades in this house.
  73.
  74. -bisharp
  75. this bisharp set does a couple things. it functions both in and out of webs, and pursuit traps gengar. if he brings webs, you get an attack boost and +2 ada sucker punch is incredibly scary and powerful. with a scarf, you do outspeed a decent amount of things even after webs so dont just auto-pilot to sucker punch. if he doesnt bring webs, scarf is pretty unexpected and can let you get some surprise KOs. bringing this in on gengar when its likely not clicking focus blast gives you a free kill with pursuit. if he stays in and pursuit doesnt quite kill, you can revenge it with ice shard from donphan. low kick is for stakataka, and knock off is knock off.

  77.
  78. notes:
  79. -Ada azu hits 199 speed
  80. -Jolly azu hits 218 speed
  81. -mega abomasnow will likely be max hp, non-mega will likely be max speed with or without a scarf.
  82. -do everything in your power to not let staka set up a trick room. if does manage to get one up, you can try switching around rotom and metagross on gyro ball/stone edge/eq to stall out TR turns. its a lot of 50/50s and a correct guess from him means you lose a pokemon. if you manage to live out those 4 turns, make sure you end up with a pokemon that can kill staka on the turn TR ends or he'll just set up another one.
  83. -i didnt really mention passimian in there, but that mon is kiiiiinda a threat. rotom plus xatu should check it pretty well, but you dont want rotom getting worn down to the point that it cant check tflame + sandslash-a, and xatu can only roost + heat wave it over time.
