  1. Absolutely preposterous! Either you are misinformed or feigning ignorance for the purposes of supporting the monopolistic ISP corporations.
  2.
  3. The regulations that comprise Net Neutrality may be "one-size-fits-all" and "overbearing" from the perspective of a totally free market, but Internet Service Providers are certainly not exposed to a free market, far from it. Many locations in the US are limited to ONLY ONE possible ISP, and most others are often left with only TWO options, one of which is too slow and/or data restrictive to be viable for their needs. This is a situation that is far from ideal, and while these regulations are not the ideal solution, the American people and entire Internet-using people must be protected from exploitation.
  4.
  5. The notion that these regulations will "stifle innovation" is down-right facetious, unless by "innovation" one is referring to innovative ways that ISP corporations can exploit their cartel-like grasp on their customer base. Some may say that a free market won't allow for such predatory practices that NN proponents claim, but once again, ISPs are not exposed to the competition necessary for a truly free market. The barriers to entry, primarily start-up costs, are far too great for small businesses to currently have opportunity to outbid larger companies.

  7.
  8. I could continue to make arguments in favor of repealing the ban on Net Neutrality, but the information is already available elsewhere, and you have either ignored it or seen fit to side against the individual people of Ohio, America, and the world. Either way, this is easily the most pressed concern to myself and the many others whose livelihoods are based upon Internet business, as well as those who value the open forum - free from government and corporate meddling - that the Internet provides.
  9.
  10. Should you continue to support this decision that spits in the face of your constituency, I will consider it my duty to inform everyone where you stand as a politician, and ensure that you never see public office in Ohio ever again. I hope that you will see reason and choose to uphold your duty as a representative of all Ohioans to uphold the interests of the people over the interests of corporate greed.
