  21. Mapping a Controller
  22. ---------------------------
  23.
  24. Controller mapping programs can be used to map keyboard buttons to the controller this can allow you to press escape/enter on the controller and also allow you to use the DPad to menu. You will also need to configure the in game controls so the mapped buttons do not conflict. Below is some examples of how to map different controllers:
  25.
  26. PlayStation 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIzyjYtmg6c
  27. Xbox Controller: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EixkuvRLiiE

  31. Troubleshooting
  32. ------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. Issue #1 - 'Please insert A Bug's Life CD':
  35.
  36. This is usually caused by A Bug's Life being mounted to a disk drive to a letter that is higher then your physical disk drive. You will need to change the letter of the Bug's Life disk image to a letter close to 'A'.
  37.
  38. Tutorial on how to change disk image letter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84GxgtM62ZM&feature=youtu.be
  39.
  40. If you are unable to see the 'A Bug's Life disk' image make sure that it has been mounted. If it hasn't you might need to manually mount the iso 'A_Bugs_Life.iso' located in the same directory as the game and manually mount the iso using Deamon tools or a similar program.
  41.
  42. Tutorial on ways to manually mount a ISO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqYyVDcDD1o&feature=youtu.be
  43. Daemon Tools Download: https://www.daemon-tools.cc/products/dtLite#page
  44.
  45.
  46. Once the ISO has been mounted you should be able to launch the game
  47.
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51. Issue #2 - Graphical glitches:
  52.
  53. This is usually caused by the dgVoodooCpl settings being incorrect. To change these open dgVoodooCpl.exe located in the folder C:\Program Files\Disney Interactive\a bug's life action game and make that the settings match the below:
  54.
  55. https://imgur.com/pK5V6vy
  56.
  57. Also make sure hardware acceleration is being selected
  58.
  59.
  60. Issue #3 - Games saves not working:
  61.
  62. This issue will because the game files are not in the correct directory of C:\Program Files\Disney Interactive\a bug's life action game and also make sure the save folder exists in that directory.
