  1. 6 Star Raid Meta Thread (Raidcat)
  2.
  3. Welcome to the Raidcat Perrserker Zone aka 6 Star Tera Raid Meta Thread
  4.
  5. >lol I can solo 5 star raids I don't need your ugly cat
  6. 6 stars are infinitely harder than 5 and extremely annoying. You can do them the normal way and risk wasting your time, or accept the raidcat as your raid savior.
  7.
  8. >What's the meta?
  9. 4 Perrserkers. Their Hidden Ability stacks multiplicatively and, if you follow the flowchart, you can one-shot most raids.
  10.
  11. >What's the raidcat like?
  12. Perrserker
  13. Level 100
  14. Ability: Steely Spirit (Hidden Ability)
  15. EVs: 252 Atk
  16. Adamant Nature
  17. - Iron Head
  18. - Screech
  19. - Helping Hand
  20. - Taunt/Metal Sound
  21.
  22. Remaining EVs in Speed or HP, either work. IVs don't need to be perfect, but Level 100 is highly recommended, and at least 90 is necessary to not get one-shot by super effective moves.
  23.
  24. >Alright so what's the fucking flowchart
  25. Raid host will do the following:
  26. Taunt -> one of cheers, depending on what the team needs to survive, or Swords Dance -> Iron Head
  27. The joiners (all 3 of them) almost always should follow this pattern:
  28. Turn 1 Screech -> Turn 2 Attack Up Cheer Power -> Turn 3 Helping Hand the hostcat
  29.
  30. >Can you cheese every single raid with the raidcat?
  31. Yes and No. Some Pokemon can OHKO even Lv 100 cat so if you just follow the flowchart you will get wiped out. Those are hard to do with randoms and without adapting the strategy, but are actually still doable if you can coordinate. The Pokemon to watch out for are strong attackers with Fire, Ground, or Fighting moves. A good example is Garchomp, who can OHKO even max HP raidcat with EQ.
  32.
  33. >Metal Sound/Taunt?
  34. Metal Sound is only to be used if you bring the cat to non-fourcat raids and don't plan on hosting them yourself. Use it to help debuff if your raidmates are using Miraidon/Sp. Attackers. Use Helping Hand to help after the raidmon has put up the crystal shield (as it becomes immune to debuffs). If you want to host, bring Taunt instead.
  35.
  36. >What other strategies are there?
  37. The other meta strategies involve similarly stacking Miraidon and Koraidon, and while more durable than the cats, they don't do nearly as much damage due to a lack of stacking multipliers.
  38.
  39. Other viable Pokemon include full support Chansey (@ Eviolite, with Life Dew, Tail Whip, Screens) and anything that can Screech/Metal Sound/Taunt and not be a liability. If you think you'll die in the next move, don't chose anything and wait for a healing cheer, or use one yourself. Staying alive is better than using a useless move on a shielded raidmon.
  40.
  41. >Where can I find people to fourcat some raids?
  42. Go on Twitter (that's where all the Japanese players congregate, no way around it) and search for any of these hashtags:
  43. #テラレイド募集
  44. #テラレイドバトル募集
  45. #テラレイドバトル
  46.
  47. Only join the ones that specify ニャイキング (Nyaiking, Perrserker's JP name) or 夢ニャイキング ("Yume Nyaiking", aka "HA Perrserker") or something like ニャイキングのみ (のみ means "only"). If you see one with ミライドン(のみ) or コライドン(のみ) that means "(only) Miraidon" and "(only) Koraidon" so they are going for the alternate strats. Obviously, don't bring raidcat to those. If they don't specify anything, feel free to bring cat and help out with Screech/Helping Hand/attack up cheers/straight up Iron Heading some bitches if they are weak to Steel. There's a good chance a bunch of people are bringing the cat to those anyway so you might just do the usual strat.
  48.
  49. >Ok how can I get this cat?! It's not in my Pokedex!
  50. You can get it by doing all Language Classes and advancing your relationship with Mr. Salvatore (meeting him outside of class 4 times, in different areas of the school). The 4th time will be in the teacher's office and he'll give you a Galarian Meowth. This one doesn't have a Hidden Ability though, so you need to use an Ability Patch on it.
  51.
  52. >And how can I get the Ability Patch?
  53. It's a 11% drop chance from 6 Star raids.
  54.
  55. >But if I need a HA cat to join a 6 star raid...
  56. Well, you can still beat 6 star raids the normal way, you just need some luck, good teammates, and a good Pokemon vs raidmon matchup. Good luck!
  57.
  58. Or you can trade for cat with our generous anons. Keep in mind that G-Meowth's HA is Unnerve, and becomes Steely Spirit once it evolves.
