The Laws of the Maidens and Masters of Time

-Those born in Death's shadow shall be cursed with the power to reset time.
-Each reset will force the Maiden's or Master's conscience to jump to another timeline.
-Leaps are triggered by the feeling of absolute despair. The typical peak of such despair is found in one's death, but can be triggered if enough despair overcomes the Maiden or Master.
-A Maiden or Lord is cursed to jump between worlds until they reach the end of their natural timespan of 150 years, based on the Maiden or Lord's age in the current timeline. Constant repeats of a certain period of time do not count to one's age.
-Upon being freed of one's curse, a new Maiden or Master will take the now-deceased Maiden/Master.
-If a Maiden or Lord should find themselves in an emotionally heavy location, memories and personalities from previously traveled timelines may leak into nearby people.
