 ***CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT***

I'd like to start off by apologizing for the @everyone ping.  Now that that's out of the way, here's an announcement for a DMMSMM speedrunning contest with prizes for the winners! The contest will start on Saturday, February 1st and end on Sunday, March 1st (inclusive).  Feel free to share this with anyone that you think might be interested in a very interesting game and a way to gain actual value from playing it!

Instead of overcomplicating this explanation by going too in-depth, I'll keep it simple.  Whoever has the lowest combined Any% and All Shards times by the time the contest ends wins.  This will be going by IGT in order to keep it as fair as possible.  Because this will be using IGT (which isn't the usual timing method), only runs that take place during the contest period will be valid entries.  Video proof must show everything from starting a new file in File Select to the screen that displays the IGT, and no GBA Link Cable usage is allowed.  Only runs done on authentic hardware (AKA not on emulators) are valid entries.


I should also probably clarify that since there's the potential for conflict-of-interest things, I'm exempting myself from the prize pool for this contest.  I *will* be doing runs for it, but I won't be eligible for any of the prizes.
