As cheesy as the line sounds... honestly? It works. Sometimes you have to bury your doubts because someone else knows you have it in you.

Of course there's always a bigger robot. I've been building and modifying giant starships (with one in particular) for centuries now. Still, this gives me... useful insights.

So maybe I didn't understand what people might have needed. Then again, I'm not so sure I would have been overly concerned - if I'd done the usual "Jumper comes in with all of his powers and fixes everything forever" thing, there are people that wouldn't have reached their potential because they were overshadowed. I played a part, certainly, but I ended up one of the casualties of the war.

And yet, while things were being put back right, there were sightings of me around the world, fighting the shrinking quantity of injustices. The main cast never saw me again, but perhaps it was enough to believe that I was out there still.

On an unrelated note... near the end of this jump, thanks to studying spiral energy and with my knowledge of the Kaleidoscope... the Elsewhere Coil installed between Sajuuk's three cores was brought to its full function. I now have a forty kilometer long starship with a fleet around it that can slip between universes.

Also? It wasn't enough, no. They missed me and wanted me to come back. They knew what I was doing as a vigilante and though they tried to chase me down they never quite caught up. I only found that out much later and I regretted my decision to distance myself for a matter of years. But that is simply the way it was - they couldn't have been everywhere, though they weren't far from that.

As a result, they left me behind to achieve their own heights. But that was okay. That's why I was trying not to hold them back, right?
