Notes for Officer meeting - 26/04/18

What I would want to discuss:

- Council
- Possible new Officers candidates.
- Possible new Elder Candidates.
- Current Elders
- Future FC plans
- Updating the forums for recruitment
- Scheduling events

- Alinah taking a break for extended time feels Council member might no longer be suitable
same applies to Shotz to a degree - Do we still need a council rank?
More a community role ingame to deal with website and forums and such, is the website nessecry anymore?
- reduction in cost by moving into a newbie discord channel to discuss
with new potential members? - Possibly move onto a free source for the website? -
Commuinty update widget not updated front page showing "Song of the day" 2017 - Discord
has taken care of most nessesary things. Possible cheaper domain area as using the
donations are required. - Council role ingame doesn't need to be changed.

- Officer candidates, hard to justify being online need to show some kind of pressence we
have Discord to use as a function of contact. Possibly no need to promote someone to
officer as no name comes forwards aside from the possibility of Aza and Menchi, not
previously discussed. Potential for Alyx to become an officer at some point but needs
guidance and direction

- Elder Candidates, names put forward where Dibby,Ribby,Augor - Dibby and Ribby don't meet
the requirement and they haven't moved up to ranking accordingly - need to move people up
to Loyal and people up the veteran.

 - Current Elder changes: - Update the fourm website - discuss with current Elders about
removing them from position. Progression for the FC in terms of events and application
management. Current content not holding attention span for people due to lacking of
things to do. Discord has taken a decent amount the community reaction rather than it being
ingame itself to some degree, static teams have moved into a gaming community into static
only clicks.To much focus on raiding not enough of doing external content such as Eureka
along with other events - issue with the game and not entirely with us.
Need to break up the cliques into a community once more ingame and outside, not just part of
Discord lacking of banter always the same people - need to clean up discord in general for
people no longer actually playing the game.

 - Expand upon the community as we play multiple games not just FF14

Elder Demotions: - Slivez / Niah - Clearly agreed, Will speak to them personally about the
demotion.

Looking for content creators - co-ordinate events and keep the community alive ingame and
outside - core FC show limited interest with participating. We need to take some kind of
action to bring the community back FC is on life-support. - Primal farm nights not just
limited to Doggo farms as people showed interest but weren't free to do so.

Kio - Promoted to council
    - No promotions to Officers
    - Promotion to Elder ranks -
    - Promotion to Veteran - Can be sorted automatically using the system in place.


- Events (If you start an event see it through to the end) this also counts for FC photos
among other aspects. FC photos seem to increase the popularity and community - consider this
when planning events

- Update recruitment thread! - Officers and elder can be contributing to the decline in
members joining the FC outside of raiding.
