  3. You peeked my interest to become a staff member. I am obviously going to be listed as a US Staff Member.
  4. CPTMax - vandaag om 15:53
  5. Alright, I'll ask a few quick exploratory questions and then bring it up with the other staff members.
  6. Romulus - vandaag om 15:53
  7. Fair enough. Shall I tell you of my experience?(gewijzigd)
  8. CPTMax - vandaag om 15:53
  9. Sure, we can start with that
  10. Romulus - vandaag om 15:56
  11. Well, I have been Community Director for Sinister Networks. I was one of the Owners of Autonomy and I was recently the Community Manager of Auxillary Networks. I was also Staff Manager for at least 3 other communities in the far past. The highest I’ve been under that was Head Moderator.(gewijzigd)
  12. CPTMax - vandaag om 15:56
  13. Can you link me those communities?
  14. Romulus - vandaag om 15:57
  15. Can’t. Sorry. Autonomy and Auxillary, I want nothing to do with. Sinister and the other communities I did not mention are dead and I do not remember their names.
  16. CPTMax - vandaag om 15:58
  17. I can't really take your experience into consideration if I have zero evidence about you being a high ranking administrator in those.
  18. Anyways I'll ask my exploratory questions and share it with the senior staff to see what they think
  19. Romulus - vandaag om 15:59
  20. Well, I can try to get someone for their proof of my experience, if you want.
  21. He’s not online right now, but when he is I can get him.
  22. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:00
  23. That's still not hard proof. Proof is like seeing a steam group with you listed as administrator, or a forum with a staff team roster, et cetera.
  24. Romulus - vandaag om 16:00
  25. And No: I won’t ask them to lie about my experience. I can send you pictures of the DMs if you wish.
  26. The thing about me is: if I join a community and later don’t like it, I leave everything connected to them: server, Discord, Steam Group, Forums, etc.
  27. I can’t give you hard proof, but this is my honest experience.
  28. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:02
  29. You haven't been here for a while, how do I know you won't ditch my administration and leave the server, discord, steam group, forums et cetera?
  30. Romulus - vandaag om 16:03
  31. Well, here’s a plus: I haven’t seen any negative activity (like shitty staff, minges, et cetera).
  32. Usually those problems from the past were started by the community towards me.
  33. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:05
  34. I'm not sure I understand. Negative activity usually started and then was directed against you?
  35. Romulus - vandaag om 16:07
  36. What I mean is that there was always at least ONE abusive asshole in the communities who started an issue that made me furious. I don’t want that here because I can have a short temper. I just want to help people who wish to stay and actually, seriously roleplay. That’s all.
  37. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:12
  38. FalloutRP is a very toxic and drama-like environment. There can be a lot of things that can make you furious. You just told me you have a short temper, do you think you are up for it?
  39. Romulus - vandaag om 16:13
  40. As long as there are people above me to keep me from losing my temper, then fine. This is why I like managing communities, not Owning them. I owned one, which was Autonomy, and I hated it, even though I ran it with several others.
  41. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:14
  42. I'm thinking about this in a realistic scenario. If you lose your temper or start to lose it, how do I recognise that and what would be my role in it to prevent you from losing it?
  43. Romulus - vandaag om 16:15
  44. Well, usually before I lose my temper, I try to remain quiet a bit.
  45. You'll know when I lose it or not. I'll try not best not to.
  46. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:16
  47. Alright
  48. A few last things
  49. How old are you, are you knowledgeable on the Fallout universe, do you prefer to work in teams or work alone, what's your greatest quality in terms of administration and name an realistic example and your greatest flaw in terms of administration and name an realistic example
  50. Romulus - vandaag om 16:24
  51. Well, for starters: I'm still learning a bit about the Fallout Universe and that starts with my learning of the Legion. My age is 18, but not many people will know it because it is none of their concern. I prefer to create a Staff Character to signify when I am On-Duty so people know to ask me for assistance to not bother the other staff members when they're roleplaying. For example: if someone requires assistance from an upper staff member, but I was a Moderator, I would still try my best to assist them first and if it really requires the upper staff, I would summon an upper staff member. As for my flaws: I won't say I don't have any flaws, but not everyone's perfect. I do not have any flaws that I can think of besides my short temper from the past experiences. An example of this was when I was helping several people at once and if I didn't help another at that exact time, I arrived to him much later and he became pissed that I did not see me helping several others beforehand, which lead for my response to be "Why don't you try helping that many people at the same time?"
  52. As for the Team/Alone factor, I don't understand that.
  53. CPTMax - vandaag om 16:25
  54. Do you prefer to work alone as in make decisions yourself and take initiative
  55. Or communicate with others and co-work, brainstorm on ideas and do it together/relying on others
  56. NIEUWE BERICHTEN
  57. Romulus - vandaag om 16:26
  58. Oh. Then I would much rather brainstorm in a way where we come to a group vote and not a unanimous vote or someone in charge of everything, making our votes not matter at all.
