I failed cutting

Covet: Tae was sitting on the couch munching on some chips, being lazy while watching Bob's burgers, because it was mindless TV.
Alexithymiaa: -Noah has been feeling pretty awkward after the family dinner on Thursday, thankful that Bryan's wedding was SO big that he didnt have to really talk to his parents very much the entire night. He'd lounged himself across the one side of the couch Tae wasnt on, his feet kicked up. "Pass the chips?" He asked her, putting his hand out.-
Covet: Tae looked over at him, " Say please." She said to him holding them just out of his reach. "You feeling better now that your parents are gone? Like you can breathe?"
Alexithymiaa: -He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "That's the understatement of the year. They made everything so tense." He retorted, not asking please and sort of just trying to extend his arm out further in an attempt to reach the chips.-
Covet: She pulled the chips away from him with a smirk. "Yeah I could tell. I feel like... they had an issue with me. Your mom always had quite the sour look on her face any time I was around."
Alexithymiaa: "My mom? How about my dad?" He said quickly, trying to stretch for the chips and failing. "Come on, really? Share." He said as he wiggled his fingers in her direction. "They're kind of just really conservative...."-
Covet: "I trying, I just don't hear the magic word." Tae said to him, then sat up, "Wait.. You could have said something about that before they got here, I would have at least tried to dress a little more modestly to make it a little less tense."
Alexithymiaa: "I did say that. Like a whole shit load of times. I didnt even think you owned anything modest." He said as he watched the chip bag. "Blow me?"-
Covet: "You didn't say it that much." Tae said to him, "And yes, I do... I have to wear clothes around my family." She said with a scoff, "Okay, but you have to say please." She said with a smirk.
Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes, dramatically draping himself across the cushion with his arm still stretched in the direction of the chip bag. "I said it enough." He added, wiggling his fingers at the chips again. "Please?"-
Covet: Tae tossed him the bag of chips. "There you go, wasn't so hard was it?" She asked. "Okay well, I thought my parents were fairly conservative, but your parents are on a whole nother level. I like your siblings though, They're pretty cool."
Alexithymiaa: "It was awful." He spoke in a small voice, grabbing the chips and slipping his hand inside to grab a handful. "They're pretty old school jewish. Most of the time it's just annoying. Like I'd never tell them I did Christmas shit with you because that would bother them. Liv and Cam and I aren't really like that, we kind of just play along with their benefit."-
Covet: "Yeah, my parents look lax compared to yours. " Tae said then laughed, "Look at you being a Rebel."
Alexithymiaa: "We've all always been rebels. Just purely out of not caring." He smirked, wiggling his phone out of his pocket to find his chat thread with Cam before passing it over to her to show him that Cam had said she was hot and cool, multiple times. "Everyone else likes you though."-
Covet: "Aww, Cam is sweet. He's lucky you're cuter." She told him with a smirk, knowing it'd get a rise out of him. " I'm glad I have the approval of the siblings at the very least."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh that has nothing to do with the fact that he lives across the country, right? Or the fact that I'm cooler and kicked his ass twice while he was here?" He started, a little defensively. "Sadie liked you too, but Sadie likes everyone so that's less impressive."-
Covet: "I've made long distance work, but the fact that you beat him at hockey twice, definitely does help." Tae said to him smiling. "Sadie is very sweet and I liked her too."
Alexithymiaa: "Sadie is the best. When she wants to be." He added. "She's still four and all four year olds throw temper tantrums and have their moments. Overall she's not bad though." He pushed some chips into his mouth before passing the bag back to her. "You only like me for my skills."-
CovetCovet : "Um, no your skills are a bonus, I like you because you're hot." She told him with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "I mean... I'll accept that too." He said with a shrug, rolling onto his side on the couch. "It's okay, I only like you because you're hot, too. We're equal."-
Covet: "Pfft, we both know you only want me for my costume making skills." She said sticking her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I guess there's that too, yeah. Speaking of which, are we going to do more of mine yet?" He asked her, dropping his arm off the edge of the couch with chip fingers.-
Covet: "Yes, I've barely started the chest piece we've got the rest of the torso, both legs and a helmet still." Tae said to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Well once I get paid again, I can get some of the lighting shit and I can see what I can put together. As far as housing goes, that's all you, but I can get the lights working."-
Covet: "Okay, we'll definitely need the lights for the sword, and for the helmet, and the other led's on the suit. I've got a rough schematic from online to base it off of." Tae told him
Alexithymiaa: "I know what I need to get, I just don't have the money yet. So next week." He said with a nod of his head before rolling onto his back. "Do you need me to like... do anything else?"-
Covet: "Do anything else in regards to what exactly?" She asked him raising an eyebrow, looking over at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Like... he trailed off, waving a hand through the air. "...painting... or molding... or I dont know what else you need to do to make the thing. Cut stuff?" He asked unsurely.-
Covet: "I'll have you cut out the pieces I mark in the foam if you like. But you have to remember that solid lines mean to cut, and dashed lines are just scoring the foam so it can be bent." Tae said.
Alexithymiaa: "....what?" He asked her, trying to follow what she was talking about. "Why would you even draw lines on it if you're just going to bend it? Why not just leave it black and bend it?"-
Covet: "Because then it doesn't bend the way that the armor would and wouldn't look realistic. And it's less sewing and gluing that I have to do ."
Alexithymiaa: "This just seems like something you should take care of. Isn't there anything that like... needs a solid coat of spray paint or something?" He asked, trying to think of something easy he could do himself.-
Covet: "Eventually, but I have to cut all the foam first, then we go about painting it, and the painting can be a time consuming event. Especially to make it look like metal." Tae said.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay but I dont want to mess up the cutting. It's just better if you do the cutting and I can just help you paint it. Like the base coat before you need to add any kind of detail or something like that." He nodded confidently, knowing he could at least do that.-
Covet: "How about you just worry about me having the materials I need then." She said getting up to pat him on the shoulder.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I can do that." He said, accepting that as his job because he was pretty sure he'd mess up most other things. He rolled off the edge of the couch, getting his feet underneath him and straightening his sweater. "Are you going to bed?"-
Covet: "I am, but I'm not necessarily going to sleep." She said to him with a look over her shoulder. "Not exhausted enough to sleep yet, Maybe you can help with that?" She asked him then headed towards her room.
Alexithymiaa: "I can help with that." He said a little too quickly, moving up fast behind her to settle his hands on her hips, following her off to her room. Getting handsy before they even made it.-
