- [START OF CUTSCENE]
- High up in the upper orbital jurisdiction of Asticassia Tech, directly north of the colony but outside of detection range, two mobile suits danced among hot, hyper-coherent beams.
- To the tune of IDOL by YOASOBI as usual, but only those inside the cockpit could hear it.
- <<Whoops! Who-o-o-ah! Fufufufu~n!>>
- Suletta Mercury's voice seemed almost unintelligible at one point, but to her foe, the message was clear. She was loving this run.
- <<Gah, I can't catch you. And I use a one-hand weapon!>>
- Ericht Samaya, on the other hand, sounded a little annoyed despite having an identical vocal register to her sister. Not that she minded -- Suletta was good, and she's only gotten better at this -- but it had been a while since she piloted Aerial by herself, so it felt like wearing brand-new clothes that seemed just a bit too small and hadn't stretched yet.
- Not that she'd know what it felt like to wear clothes.
- <<But you told me to -- uh oh -- you told me to keep it two-handed the whole way this time.>>
- <<And you're doing a good job fighting with your hands occupied.>>
- Eri's voice changed slightly now, dropping by an octave. It was Suletta's sign that her twin was about to become a more stern examiner.
- <<Time for me to go one harder, then!>>
- Eri's promise was a guarantee, and the shield bits went after the white broom-rider suit right away. All eleven beam shooters opened a salvo upon Suletta, and unlike before, she was surrounded on all sides by the deadly rays of concentrated energy rapidly pulsing at her.
- But the bright smile never left her face. <<You're right. This is harder! Whoa-oh!>>
- Somehow, Suletta was gradually dictating the tempo. In the maneuvering battle between the Calibarn and the Aerial Rebuild, Suletta moved in open space like an ice skater with a giant staff, whipping about in spins and tumbles while using the broom rifle to reset momentum and boost away. Ericht could boast finer control over the GUND-bits, but Suletta consistently made her miss by a hair. The girl was running up to the limits of AMBAC movement, which was already high on the Calibarn to begin with.
- The greater miracle, however, is that she was still holding strong at Score Four. She wasn't panting. <<I wanna try something...>>
- Now, Suletta made a bee-line towards the debris field some distance away from the school, rotating while diving to keep all the shield bits in front of her direct line of fire.
- <<My turn!>>
- A bolt of light
