2NE1 - I Am The Best: 8 Love this era of electro bangers. Yes they were derivative but they ruled!

Aespa - Next Level: 10 Aespa won me over last year with this mini ... it rules and their scifi concepts and lore are ridiculous but fun. This song is weirdly controversial on Popheads because it's just two fairly normal songs stitched together with a kind of abrupt transition in the middle, but they acted like it was the most bizarre thing ever. (Lots of them also hated Savage.) Anyway it's a banger and gets stuck in my head all the time, I will just be brushing my teeth or something and hear "jekkyeora jekkyeora jekkyeoRA".

Apink - Eung Eung: 8 I have a belief that almost all K-pop songs with reduplication in the title are bangers and made a whole playist of them to test this hypothesis, and this is on it.

ATEEZ - Answer: 6 Oh no I do not like these vocals much

Baekhyun - UN Village: 7 Pretty alright, he is an artist I respect

Beast - Fiction: 8 I like that little looping melody a lot

Big Bang - Haru Haru: 7 As I said in my comment on Eung Eung, I have a hypothesis that "almost all K-pop songs with reduplication in the title are bangers" and would say this supports it more or less. I like the piano and strings!

Blackpink - As If It's Your Last: 9 Forgot this was a banger and thought it was one of their boring acoustic songs, lol. (Acoustic songs are not inherently boring but they are when BP does them.) Popheads hates their music and they can be ... polarizing among K-pop stans I know, but I have faith they can make good songs ... sometimes ... just not good albums.

Blackpink - Playing with Fire: 10 Idk this isn't one of their best songs but that melody gets stuck in my head a lot so I'm going on vibes here.

BoA - No.1: 9 Been getting into BoA's whole discography this year and got through it a couple of times and it's great but it's also VAST so I cannot remember many songs from it lol including this one. It's good though!

Brave Girls - Rollin: 9 It's just fun, the tropical house era was really not bad.

Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra: 10 I forgot what a banger this is, and also how cool its video is. Edgy stuff for the time lol.

BTS - Blood Sweat and Tears: 7 I just said two songs ago that tropical house was not bad so I can't be hard on this even though I am not sure I've ever heard it before.

BTS - Spring Day: 9 Many are saying this one of their greatest songs and I get it I think ... it's beautiful.

Chungha - Gotta Go: 9 Weirdly I don't know this song despite having over 1000 plays of Chungha but that's almost all from Querencia ... but I love her voice and enjoyed this a lot anyway.

DAY6 - Zombie: 7 Kind of has this quality I like a lot in music that's called "ethereal" so I like that about it.

Dreamcatcher - Deja Vu: 7 Neat to hear more rock sounds in K-pop you don't get that a lot. This is almost an 80s power ballad.

Dreamcatcher - Scream: 6 Is it Dreamcatcher's gimmick that they do songs with hard rock sounds because I don't recall them sounding like this, but it's not bad. It's hard to screw up a good shuffle beat.

Enhypen - Drunk-Dazed: 10 Found this through the Popheads Kpop rate last summer and it rules, total banger.

Everglow - La Di Da: 10 Perfect 80s synthpop LARP (complimentary), with a contemporary twist, this group is really good ... would be a tasteful winner even ... we shall see.

EXID - Up & Down: 8 Lol I didn't read closely and thought this would be an EXO song ... it was not ... it's kind of quirky (complimentary) I like it! Might check out this group.

EXO - Call Me Baby: 8 Very catchy, a little weird, makes use of repetition well ... good hook what can I say ... they made a banger.

EXO - Monster: 7 This group has a lot of songs that are a little weird but go off and this may be one of them.

f(x) - 4 Walls: 10 It's a banger despite the hook not making much sense but when it goes this hard who cares ... I've been getting really into this group lately (especially Pink Tape) and they have some songs I would 11 in a second, like "Step", but this also is a classic.

fromis_9 - Love Bomb: 10 It's like a sugar rush, even though I don't even like sugar, it's just that good.

GFriend - Mago: 10 This is like a forgotten classic from the late 70s or early 80s that was rediscovered and has a timeless quality that fascinates me; which is my pretentious way of saying it's really catchy.

Girls' Generation - Genie: 10 This stretch of the rate is nonstop bangers and this is no exception; true classic, one of the first Kpop songs I ever heard was probably this. [Lol that ending though, very silly but it's funny.]

Girls' Generation - Into The New World: 8 Don't know this one but they rarely make a song I dislike.

GOT7 - If You Do: 9 Something about this is so ... smooth? Idk it flows extremely well.

iKON - Love Scenario: 6 Not a big fan, sorry to these men.

Infinite - The Chaser: 9 Every time I see this I think "what a weird title" and should read the lyrics I guess but anyway it does go hard!

ITZY - Wannabe: 10 It's always kind of felt like "what if Dalla Dalla but slightly less of a banger" but that still leaves it as a 10, even if the concept is pretty much the same.

IU - Good Day: 8 This is really cute : )

IU - Twenty-Three: 7 It seems like a lot of IU's songs don't make a big impression on me (aside from Lilac which I love) but also she doesn't make songs that aren't at least pleasant either.

IVE - Love Dive: 9 Heard a lot of hype about this one and it's pretty good, should do well.

IZ*ONE - La Vie En Rose: 8 My friend says this group was a notorious flop ... is that true? Either way I like this.

KARA - Step: 10 One of the catchiest pop songs ever, I can't stop listening to this album lately.

Key - Bad Love: 10 This song was robbed by Popheads, should've been a frontrunner to win but they are infamously misandrist there ... let's see if this time it does better this time with respect for what a great song this is.

LE SSERAFIM - Antifragile: 10 Nobody can convince me this isn't a banger, it fascinates me, it's just the right ratio of catchy to weird and it rules.

LOONA - Star: 10 A bit of a surprising pick to me (I thought Orbits overwhelmingly liked Girl Front but that was just Popheads lol) and I like it better this way because it's a really good song I don't listen to often enough.

LOONA/Kim Lip - Eclipse: 8 Loona could really do no wrong during this era.

Luna - Free Somebody: 9 Never heard this but this slaps, my favourite new find of the rate.

Mamamoo - Hip: 10 Mamamoo are a weird group that I tried hard to like and they just aren't for me most of the time, but this is definitely them at their peak.

Monsta X - Beautiful: 6 Lol what is this, it's kind of funny.

NCT 127 - Limitless: 6 Least weird NCT song I've heard yet but it's alright.

NCT 127 - Superhuman: 8 This kind of glitchy, bass-heavy sound rules? Good find from this rate since I mainly only know the weirder and more memeable songs from NCT.

NCT Dream - Hello Future: 5 It's kind of a mess but it's alright.

NCT U - The 7th Sense: 6 It's really moody and kind of neat.

NewJeans - Hybe Boy: 9 Should really listen to this whole mini more, it's really good.

Oh My Girl - Closer: 8 I have this saved on my Spotify so I must like it even though I forgot about it.

Pentagon - Shine: 5 Never heard of this group. Not bad I guess.

Red Velvet - Bad Boy: 8 For a bit I was afraid I was going to give a bad score to both RV songs in this rate because I love them but happen to not like Really Bad Boy much, and always get it mixed up with this song ... which luckily is not the same song and is good : )

Red Velvet - Psycho: 0 Yes I know this is one of their most popular songs, RV are one of my favourite groups, I just frankly hate this song with every fibre of my being and it sets my teeth on edge ... deeply annoying and I can't stand the overuse of the word "psycho", even though it's not their fault since they didn't write it.

Seventeen - Rock With You:  8 Took me a while to get into this group but this is a good song.

Seventeen - Very Nice: 8 this is a banger.

SHINee - Sherlock: 9 This bassline rules so much.

SHINee - View: 10 yeah this deserved to win its rate.

STAYC - So Bad: 8 This group is definitely good at making energetic songs but idk how good they are sometimes.

Stray Kids - God's Menu: 6 This is fairly abrasive but I can kind of appreciate it after getting used to the kind of aggressive vocals a lot of BGs do.

Stray Kids - Miroh: 8 This is pretty good and I foresee it being robbed.

Sunmi - Pporappippam: 11 Had to be my 11, a really beautiful song with an amazing hook (the flute sample was genius), and also I'm a big fan of Wonder Girls and Sunmi, *and* really like the colour purple ... it's kind of been ordained hasn't it? Or maybe I just want it to be a summer evening again like the first time I heard this ... yeah that too.

Taemin - Criminal: 9 First comment on this to say they're tired of synthwave is getting a stern look of disapproval.

Taemin - Move: 8 I really underestimated his music after not liking Advice, this is nothing like it.

Taeyeon - INVU: 10 Listened to this whole album the other night while picking my top albums of last year and it's good, but I can't help but feel like Weekend is the only really great song on it ... but this is definitely the other standout on it so good pick : )

TVXQ - Mirotic: 7 Lol sorry something about this is making me crack up a bit even though it's not that bad. As it went on it won me over in fact from a bad score to good.

Twice - Fancy: 9 This is a cursed comment but every time I hear this I think of Lovesick Girls for a second ... it's pretty good as well, not the most unique song but it's fun.

Twice - Feel Special: 8 Twice are a group I like but sometimes feel are overrated and I wasn't that sold on this song the first time I heard it ... it's pretty good I guess though.

TXT - 9 and 3/4 (Run Away): 7 These vocals are kind of weird like they're pitched up or something at times (even though they probably aren't) but whatever it's still a banger.

TXT - Lovesong: 8 The chorus is really strong

VIXX - Error: 7 Never heard of this but it's good

Wanna One - Energetic: 8 Good find! It will be robbed.

Winner - Really Really: 6 Idk I'm out of ideas I'm tired by now in the rate

WJSN - Secret: 9 This group always has amazing singles

Wonder Girls - Why So Lonely: 6 I was hyped to rate a Wonder Girls song but I don't know this one lol, I mainly know Reboot (which is one of the best Kpop albums ever) and this is nothing like what I'm used to from them (reggae?!) but it's alright.
