  3. Discovery of Suddenly Cranky

  5. I went through the beginning of DK64, training grounds k lumsy etc. (while Ringrush discovered this new ledge clip into water in training grounds that saved any% and, getting that ledge clip that he thought was impossible, he was now on a wr pace run) and entered Japes. Then I did an orange clip on Funky's hut, and did some weird things involving an instrument and careful oob that I don't precisely remember. Then, I tagged by Snide's and voilĂ ! a 6th ? mark, hovering over it would say "Cranky Kong" and tagging that made a weird, sm64/oot crooked cartridge-like version of DK appear. Stuff starts breaking for real, jumping works about 10% of the time, walls, slippery slopes, everything does not exist (though that is not really new for this game). I enter the speedy swing sortie bonus barrel, and it "wrong warps" me to a beta barrel where you play as rambi and you have to jump from tiny platform to tiny platform around in laps without falling and with a time limit. Oh and due to Suddenly Cranky + beta map, Rambi is invisible. Apparently this becomes the new any%. Later on (after 2nd dream), upon thinking about that dream and falling asleep again, I found out that Suddenly Cranky also gives you infinite hookshot length, allowing you to make the shot from W2 to the right switch using a hookshot instead of a bow.

  10. ISG in K lumsy
  11.
  12. This time I'm showing my sister how silly this game is by performing STS with Tiny to the Fairy Island. Then I come out, go tag DK and enter K. lumsy, at which point I'm thinking "I wonder if I have time to finish K lumsy before the ISG fadeout". Turns out I don't, about 5 seconds in the cutscene the screen fades to black, then comes back to DK standing in K lumsy with nothing going on. Suddenly, kind of how turning a key cutscene starts, the boulder in K. Lumsy that covers a blank, lit up Cranky pad in a small alcove in the wall, blows up in chunks like the japes lobby one. Fadeout to K. Lumsy island exterior, where a copy of the K. Lumsy intro cutscene starts playing but outside, and that's when I realized the game confused the two maps and swapped them to play their respective cutscenes because of the ISG fadeout. Now this cutscene has a static DK standing on W1, the debris from the boulder inside of the island just outside laying around everywhere, and a moving DK rolling into the water and swimming in circles while doing random inputs, and then the camera and DK warp to some random spot and DK imitates K. Lumsy noises and starts moving around again. Makes sense, because since the cutscene is playing on the wrong map, there is no K. Lumsy so the game uses DK as a replacement for both the model and the voice of K. Lumsy. Interestingly enough, as a coincidence, just as the cutscene ends, DK has moved randomly just right enough to enter japes lobby, at which point the dream kind of breaks down and I wake up shortly after.
