## Summary

Jaime Reyes is a character created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers and Cully Hamner. He was just a normal kid, until the Scarab, [Khaji Da,](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel_dc/images/b/b6/Blue_beetle_scarab.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140507191542.jpg) fused with him. He then used this new power to save the world, his family, and eventually joined the Teen Titans, and then briefly joined the Justice League International in their fight against Maxwell Lord.

The Scarab is a form of Reach technology, which bonded to Jaime and grants him his powers. It can act on its own and has its own personality
