Parker dated concert girl for over a year but she broke up with him when he was being stubborn about his injury. Karma is a bitch sometimes.

Miles was accepted into a college in Washington state, clear on the other side of the country but it was his dream school for many years so he couldn’t pass it down. He went on to be their star forward in soccer and was given the opportunity to go pro but turned it down to move back home and live with his family.
Miles only went out to keep up appearances for the soccer team and hadn’t found anyone worthy of his time until he met Elyssa shortly after he moved home.
Miles is dating Elyssa Taylor.

For a long time, soccer was the most important thing in Miles’ life. He played non-stop, it seemed, consumed with the love for the sport. Things turned around the summer before his senior year of high school when he met Colin at soccer camp. He was challenged by the other boy, and learned how to make himself even better at the game. They went to different schools, but that didn’t matter - especially after the first kiss. Miles had kept his attraction to other boys hidden deep within himself, fearful of what his teammates would say, and petrified to tell his parents. But Colin gave him the strength he needed most, not only on the field but off it. Everything seemed to go right that year: star forward on the team, the support of his parents once he told them about Colin, and best of all, Colin himself. The icing on the cake was the scholarship offer to Washington State, his dream school. Choosing his dream, Miles left home and moved across the country, leaving Colin and their love behind.

College was the next step in the path he’d laid out for himself. A star on the field, by his senior year he was fielding offers to play professionally. But the longer he was away, the more homesick he became. The thought of moving yet again, of the constant travelling, of never really settling down, it nagged at him. The fire he’d felt for the game had waned, the spark that had burned so brightly since that summer before his last year in high school all but gone. Upon graduating he eschewed the offers to go pro and returned home. Shortly after he met Elyssa. Beautiful and kind, it was exactly the stability and comfort that he’d imagined. She was everything he thought “home” should be. He still plays the occasional pick-up game in the park and coaches his nephew’s elementary team. But his focus is on something far more enduring than a fleeting pro career: Elyssa and his family.

Elizabeth had always been a bit of a wild child. From a young age she always found ways to get herself into trouble, whether it was pushing a kid off of the slide at the playground or accidentally ruining her mother’s favorite dress. By the time she was in high school, Liz often found herself in detention. That’s where she met, what she thought, was the love of her life, Avery. They were— well, they were perfect. Two birds of a feather, a match made in Heaven, or so she thought. All it took was an accidental overdose to realize that their relationship wasn’t as perfect as she believed.

Liz had started experimenting with drugs during her Junior year of high school. “I’ve got it under control” she would tell anyone who worried. Of course that’s what she thought. After the overdose, Audrey left her. It took her a couple of months, but Liz eventually decided to get clean. As much as she tries to convince herself that she’s happier now, she knows it’s not true. She misses how alive she felt when she was high. She misses the rush, how happy she would get. Every day it gets harder and harder to resist the temptation.

Even though she’s had a few short relationships, Liz has never found anyone that has accepted her as much as Audrey had. There’s always some deal breaker, whether it’s them finding out about her past with drugs and judging her for it or them giving Liz shit for not letting them get close. Truth be told, she’s scared that if she lets someone in again, the past will repeat itself.

Even though he was well on his way to playing soccer for any college of his choice, Colin turned everyone down and decided to focus more on academics.
Colin hasn’t found time to be serious with anyone since Miles left all those years ago but he still manages to hook up with males and females to dull the lingering pain.

Colin knew from an early age that he was into guys but coming from a more conservative family, he was always too scared to share that with anyone. In high school, he had a girlfriend for a short period of time before he left for soccer camp training. He met the guy of his dreams, or so he thought. Colin fell for Miles hard and fast, loving everything about the other male. They dated throughout most of their senior year, Miles helping Colin come out to his family and the few friends that weren’t aware he was bisexual. Everything was perfect until Miles packed up to leave for college, thus ending their relationship.

Colin knew that Miles pretty much ruined him to date anyone long term like that- what being so handsome and almost perfect to anyone that had eyes. He turned down his offers to play soccer in college, losing interest almost instantly. He decided to study Business and currently has his degree in Business Management and is now a first year law student, working his ass off for an internship come the end of the school year. He’s almost certain that will make him happy again. Doing something he loves and making a lot of money.

Colin hadn’t had much luck in the love department while being in college. He had a few not so serious short lived relationships but nothing ever amounted to being with Miles. He figures he will find someone eventually and maybe it’s high time he starts trying again because five years was way too long to pine over something that would never be his again.
