Minah grew up in San Francisco but she was born in Vietnam. Her father is from Korea and her mother is from Vietnam. There was a reason why she couldn't live in Vietnam with her mother. When she was first born her mother didn't want her. Her father loved her dearly but her mother despised her for the sole reason that she wanted a son. Her father didn't want her to grow up knowing that she was detested by her mother so he sent her to San Francisco to live with her aunt. When she was 16 she finally found out the reason she had never met her mother. She was upset, she was broken, she hated herself for being born a girl. On that day she ran away. Away from all of the bullshit that life had given her, away from the lie she was living. Away. She ran and ran and ran until her feet couldn't take it anymore. That night something happened that scarred her and still causes anxiety attacks and mental breakdowns. As she was sitting alone in an unknown place, someone grabbed her. Yes, she was attacked. She was beaten and she almost lost her virginity. The police found her right before they could do any thing so disgusting to the girl. On that day she moved to Korea with her father as her aunt didn't trust herself to take good care of Minah anymore.

Minah and BamBam met at school one day and they became friends and got to know each other, after about 2 months of knowing each other he asked her out when they were hanging out at a park in Seoul.

- WHY DID YOU BREAK UP: BamBam broke up with her because he thought she was too boring and clingy. He told her that he thought their relationship would be more fun and that he asked her out because they were both popular. Minah was deeply hurt by this because she had genuine feelings for him.

- HOW WILL YOU GET REVENGE ON HIM:
Since BamBam broke up with her for being dull and "not fun" she decided that she would prove to him that she's not. She posted posh photos on Instagram with her "new man" mingyu just to make him jealous and she hosted lit parties which he wasn't invited to. Even though she isn't a party animal she does have a big following and she needed to get BamBam to regret breaking up with her.

She was at one of her dance classes when she met him. Mingyu was a quiet boy who intrigued her because he was that one boy who didn't crowd around her to shower her with gifts. So, she went and said hi to him and they became friends really fast. She found out that he attended her school and they hung out more often.
