THAILAND "NEWS" -- the facts, and the bullsh**

Power Ledger chat is buzzing with news/rumours about a Thai power company partnership, and people claiming Gov (Power Ledger co-founder) confirmed it at a public meeting last night.
FACT: Perth Crypto Crowd had a meetup last night.
FACT: Gov stood up and spoke about a number of things
PROBABLY TRUE: Gov mentioned something about Thailand
THE CLAIM (but hasn't been confirmed) is that Gov said a contract has been signed with a Thai power company, and the official announcement would come "tomorrow" (22-Nov-2017). Note that Gov hasn't said this online (i.e. no screenshots, no transcript), and the reports are all second- and third-hand.
**HOWEVER** How many times has it happened that "some guy" on the internet claims a certain news/announcement is coming, and then it turns out that the rumour was greatly exaggerated? I personally wouldn't be suprised if all Gov said was "... we're in disussions with a Thai power company..." and the internet rumour mill has warped that into "partnership confirmed 100%!!". Just wait until the formal announcement, when we'll have the real story first-hand from Power Ledger itself.
