- A New Head of the Brienne... This is a collection of what would be two scenes, from Athena to the talking with King Alexander of how Uri Sanctum, as the father of his two noble children during his marriage with Vivian, will take charge of the family during her absence. He tries to give Athena a reason to live, making it clear why he not only wants to protect her as a crew mate but to see her full potential rise from within as he desires all of his crew to do. And raise the children, though noble, under a different name for their protection, as well as obtain vassalship for the Settlement to be otherwise known as Osilot. He does this to keep them protected from any assassins out to slay Vivian's bloodline, though he partially feels at fault, for being a commoner to marry said noble in the past. Though she is his Ex-Wife due to this strategic divorce, he still cares for both her, the family and their children... Babies born with targets on their back.
- 11:03] Uri Sanctum says, "Hey Xyth, I'm going to visit one of the servants. If you want to come with, you can. "
- [11:04] Xyth says, "Sure I dont have anything better to do"
- [11:04] Uri Sanctum says, "---Oof."
- [11:04] Athena blinked a bit confused before stepping aside.
- (Athena Diakonos)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:04] Uri Sanctum says, "Didn't expect that, though I should've.."
- [11:04] Athena Diakonos says, "Sorry for being in the way."
- [11:05] Uri Sanctum says, "It's fine, it's fine..."
- [11:05] Athena Diakonos asks, "Should I make tea or something?"
- [11:05] Uri Sanctum says, "I moved out remember? I should be more considerate of entering."
- [11:05] Xyth waves over toward Athea
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:05] Athena Diakonos says, "Oh.."
- [11:05] Athena Diakonos says, "I wasn't aware."
- [11:05] Uri Sanctum says, "Things happened."
- [11:06] Athena Diakonos says, "I've been a bit distracted lately.."
- [11:06] Athena Diakonos asks, "What happened?"
- [11:06] Uri Sanctum says, "I know... And its alright to be that way."
- [11:06] Uri Sanctum says, "Well.."
- [11:06] Uri Sanctum says, "Long story short..."
- [11:07] Uri Sanctum says, "If I wanted Vivian, and our children to live... I'd have to leave and so I did, so that I can find out who this assassin is or who made the hit."
- [11:07] Athena Diakonos says, "I see.."
- [11:07] Athena Diakonos asks, "Any leads?"
- [11:08] Uri Sanctum says, "Well, all I've done lead me down to finding Elizabeth, but I can't reach her... She is in Ilburge."
- [11:08] Uri Sanctum says, "And last time I went there, i was chased by a dozen."
- [11:08] Athena Diakonos says, "Maybe send a courier to her."
- [11:08] Athena Diakonos says, "That's what I did for Ash."
- [11:09] Uri Sanctum says, "I wouldn't want to risk it, but I have considered it."
- [11:09] Athena Diakonos says, "I haven't found my courier since last time though."
- [11:09] Uri Sanctum asks, "Hm, who was your courier?"
- [11:09] Xyth has no idea what they are talking about, but knows the context
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "Ths cowboy looking man.."
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "I don't really remember his name I'm afraid."
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "I'd know him if I saw him though."
- [11:10] Uri Sanctum says, "Not too many of those, not sure if you meant Kofe or Erehn..."
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "No."
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "Not a Ghoynish."
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "Amd mpt Erehn."
- [11:10] Athena Diakonos says, "I know him by name."
- [11:11] Xyth asks, "Is my brother still doing the cowboy Stict?"
- [11:13] He rubs his chin, wondering who it was that she could be referring to.
- "Well, that aside... I did come to find you for a rather important question Athee… That is, if you would want to hear me out?..."
- He smiles and offers to take her hand to assure that they were still friends.
- "I'm not your master anymore, never was, but I've always been a friend who cared."
- He looks to Xyth for a moment and back to Athena, "My friend here, he's forging a settlement of his own, much different and better than Osrona… I would like for you to be there with us, to start a new life and find a better opportunity if you will," he smiled at the end, patiently waiting for an answer.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:22] Athena seemed bothered by the fact that she couldn't seem to remember the man's name in question.. Though it was al so quite possible that he simply never gave her a name. He did say his name wasn't important after all, so that was also a possibility that could've been genuine.
- When the woman's hand was seized, her attention and green eyes would fall on the Sanctum however with a curious light to them. She wondered what Uri wanted to ask her all of a sudden. Was it something important? Judging by the way the blonde was smiling, it couldn't have been too dire or serious, but she'd hear him out either way.
- The moment Uri said he wasn't her master and never was she'd turn her sights away towards the carpet. She seemed just as bothered as she was moments before though it was likely for a different reason than not knowing someone's name. She was remembering something unpleasant. The girl would however compose herself at word of a settlement being forged.
- A place being made that would be better than Osrona put a sizeable amount of hope in the green haired girl's heart. Especially since she already heard and knew too well of the injustices and inequality running rampant in the kingdom. Sanna's case and words could surely attest to that. There was a hopeful expression and glow to the Diakonos' visage before reality hit her and replaced it with a more somber one.
- "I don't think my duties will allow me to. I am a maid of house Brienne. I don't have the freedom to just up and go as I please..."
- (Athena Diakonos)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:24] Xyth asks, "If I may interject?"
- [11:24] Uri nods to Xyth as he prepared for what he might say.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:26] Xyth says, "yeah"
- [11:28] Xyth nodded toward Uri and then looked between the two of them as he went to state his mind.
- "Well you say that your apart of House Brienne. If anything. Your duties would allow you because of the children themselves. They are still Brienne, not to mention Vivian herself was curious of the settlement too and even asked me to talk about it to her at a later date."
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:33] Uri nods to all that Xyth had said. Looking around the house of theres. "We did share many memories here." He looks at the hand he held. And would speak more on the subject. "I know that your duties are to the Brienne... It's why I have asked you to come, as well as it being your own free choice to do so, because we will always care for you as family."
- He releases his grip if she didn't already take her hand back.
- "In her absence, despite us being divorced... I am still the only suitor capable of leading house Brienne, and so, I will... Be it to have some in Osilot and the others remain here..."
- He chuckles lightly.
- "For obvious reasons... I simply can't have the children knowing of their surname till they are of age to defend themselves... I hope that when this time comes around, you'll be there to guide them, be it that you choose to stay in Osrona or visit us in Osilot… You're always welcomed."
- He didn't know what duties Vivian went off to do, he just knew of her absence as of late... Hopefully, this would be enough to satisfy the assassins after her bloodline.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:39] Athena was silent as both men spoke their minds. The moment her hand is let go of she'd let it fall back to her side. It seems she wasn't paying attention to a lot of things in the past months, but with the information gathered it seemed fair to go to the new settlement. She had the proper motivations and reasoning's to as well as the curiosity and hope to egg her on.
- "Very well.. I wouldn't mind moving to Osilot then so long as I'm given a proper introduction to the settlement and all it stands for.", the girl replied softly as she'd fold her hands together in front of her, "I hope I'm not being too unreasonable in my desires here."
- (Athena Diakonos)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [11:48] He shook his head, "Of course, I've never lead you astray, have I?... I want what's best for those who have served this family, and once Vivian returns from her duties... Perhaps she can fully move her things as well..Speaking of.."
- He looks to the direction of all the chest, "Since I've been managing her store, I will need your help on that major thing, to move all of our house items to where we shall live in the future... I, might actually need your help in finding a craft that will earn us some honest coin as well." He spoke with a welcoming tone, because he wanted to take care of the servant whom his ex-wife treated as a sister.
- "Till then, we'll continue making plans of action, and eventually, get back all those who became prisoners of war," Uri declared.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:01] Athena Diakonos says, "I'm fine with helping."
- [13:01] Athena Diakonos says, "I still need enchantments on my gear however..."
- [13:01] Athena Diakonos says, "My lady has been too busy to give me any."
- [13:05] Uri Sanctum says, "I see."
- [13:05] Uri Sanctum asks, "Perhaps I can help you find someone?"
- [13:08] He smiles at Athena, thinking about the settlement that they will eventually move to. "Though, there's still just one thing left undone... I have to speak with King Alexander, about the vassalship of the new state and to make sure that you will be safe for your travels to Osilot when the time comes..."
- He would go on over to look at Athena's gear... He was considering it, taking up the art of rune writing...After all, you'd never be without the need of giving someone an enchantment or two.
- "It's an interesting study.. Maybe once the settlement is build, someone will be around to teach such things..."
- He looks around the house.
- "I know you will miss it, Athena... So will I... I still do to this day, ever since I moved out for the sake of the family..."
- He turns to face his friend and servant. "But what about you? You never really told me about your goals or what's been bothering you Athee."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:13] At the sight of Athena's gear he'd find that just as she said there wasn't a sign of a single glyph on her equipment. It was just forged and left untouched passed that. If she were to unleash her full potential with the gear on her person it would need to be enchanted and perhaps repaired a bit.
- As for missing this place, the green haired girl didn't think she would. Of course, she wouldn't utter a word of denial. It would be rude to speak ill of her situation on a multitude of levels.
- "I'll be fine.. I might be clumsy, but I'm rather durable for a girl of my build. At least I think so.", the girl laughed awkwardly tugging at one of her sleeves.
- "I want to get stronger.. and explore the world more. I want to meet new people. That's always wanted to understand others better than I already do because I feel like you can never understand the person next to you enough."
- (Athena Diakonos)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:20] The young Captain would give off a hearty-laugh for this one. Was Athena truly doubting herself? Uri shook his head before he would remind her, that she was much more and even if she were so humble. Even Athena would need enchantments for her armor.
- "My dear friend, I'm sure a few enchantments wouldn't hurt and also... You have been taking those steps every day, to meet new people, exposing yourself to the world."
- He pats her on the shoulder as he continues.
- "You were brave enough to even come with me to fight a freaking dragon. If anything, you're worth more than plenty of Knights I already know... And those very belief of yours, it's true... You can never know too more or enough, you just keep absorbing all the bits and pieces that you can..."
- At this point, Uri would points to the door..
- "If you wish, you can come with me to find King Alexander... There are some things I must ask him before our big move to Osilot. Because believe it or not, even as a servant, you have a say in what goes on with the noble house of Brienne... A benefit to your many years of faithful service," said the Wandering Phoenix.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:27] Athena didn't seem to notice her own speaking errors as she was quite honestly focused on a lot of other things right about now. A myriad of thoughts and emotions swirling through that head of hers even now. "I'm still too shy or stupid sometimes.", the girl confessed, "I haven't made any new friends in quite some time since the incident I've slowed down."
- "As for fighting the dragon.. Sure, it's where I awakened my abilities.. I passed out on the field though.", the girl awkwardly scratched at her cheek, "I wasn't worth anything. I couldn't even land a hit on the thing and someone must've carried me back to Osrona or something because when I came to I was back in the town square. I could've died."
- That was.. twice now that she could've died in battle. The girl's face paled a bit at that thought. She was really that weak and pathetic huh? The green haired woman's eyes widened in surprise at being told that even as a servant she had some weight to her words. "Are you.. sure about that? I was told my job was to do everything but speak really. Unless it was to ask a question.", the woman started to sweat. Her heart racing as she grew more and more worried. The stress clear as day on her visage.
- (Athena Diakonos)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:35] Shy, and feeling useless...Feeling that she was not worth anything, not even worth the voice to speak on her own like now. Uri felt for what Athena was going through, but, as her friend, as someone who she called master. He would only guide her, because he was her Captain and she was a member of his crew.
- "Athena... I wouldn't want anything more than your own honest opinion, on how the house of Brienne should be lead... I want you to think of all that's happened..."
- "Yes..."
- He moved forward, to give her a hug just as Vivian would to reassure her of any negativities. "You did not last too long, but your spirit was there, and always with us... I was the one to carry you back upon my horse... I recovered many of the fallen and I can say with pride."
- Eventually during the hug, he'd slowly break away if she even allowed it to happen in the first place. "That seeing you on the battlefield brought much honor to the house of Brienne, because your very presence represents us as a whole."
- He looks to the door, he knew that Alexander was still asleep, but, this would just mean he'd have more time to speak with Athena.
- "Do you now understand? Why we fight? Why we train as people who have explored the world? Why I brought you to the beach that day? Not just to find yourself, but to find what was in front of you and make it apart of who you are... To me and everyone else, you're more than a servant, you're our Athena," he ended it with that, both hands on her shoulders and waiting for a response.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:47] Athena broke down into tears hearing those words, being given that reassurance, and comfort from the man. He thought that of her even as he carried her home and even at the sound of her confession. He still wanted to hear her opinion of things even at an important stage like a meeting with the king. It was a lot for her to take in as her body shuddered and continued to sob.
- When the blonde tried to break away, she'd cling to him even harder forcing him into a longer hug. It was comfort she hadn't felt in such a long time. She wasn't ready to just forfeit it or let it get away that soon. By the time the Sanctum's question is posed, he's released though.
- Athena didn't quite have an answer for the question asked of her, but she was going to try to come up with one after a bit of thought. Her sobbing coming to a close as the maid found her composure.
- "We fight to protect the good in the world and hope for it to grow.. To flourish and spread throughout the world in an effort to make the world a better place.", the girl answered, "At least that's what I believe. Everyone has good and evil in them, but we should strive to empower the good side of all of us."
- (Athena Diakonos)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:55] Uri, truly enjoyed the time spent, their hug that was shared before it was broken up after the prolonged clinging.. The young Captain paid attention to every one of her words, each being something linked to their guilds codex.
- "You make the family proud Athena, and I truly wish, that we had many in the world that thought the same way, but, sadly. There are people out there who just wish to do nothing more than hurt or kill the innocent.."
- His tone became serious for the moment.
- "But that is why we must be more than just knights... Noble Explorers, Pirates, Lords of the Sea, the title doesn't matter... You are your own person with your own dreams, and as a crew we will help eachother see that those dreams are fulfilled..."
- He looks Athena in the eye as he ends with, "Be the hero those children of Osilot can look up to... My children and many others... But now, it is time we go and find King Alexander, yes?" He smiles at the maiden, giving her one more hug, this time. One that would last, to wash away any pain she might be keeping within. To show her that she did not need a ton of friends, just ones such as Uri who will stick around for a lifetime.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 14:02] Athena's expression once again changed to appear more somber at the mention of evil people that would care to do nothing more than hurt countless innocent people if not kill them. Hell, someone attacked her when she by their own definition did nothing wrong directly. It was disgusting to think about really. She let someone like that scar her for the rest of her life here on Eternia.
- At being told that her title was more than her own identity, green eyes seemed to widen a bit once more in honest shock in surprise. She was never really told that much before. The opposite by her parents really to be honest. It was something of a paradigm shift to even hear such an idea being presented before her.
- The woman's body would shudder at a title she wanted even more htan that of a maid. 'Hero' something that all adventurers gravitated towards in their own stories as most protagonists in adventure novels were heroic by nature. The Sanctum's smile was met by something of a neutral expression before the pair enjoyed another embrace. A smile finally being offered to him in return.
- "..I'll do my best.", she said though that went without saying. She was always told to do her very best in any and every endeavor.
- (Athena Diakonos)
- 18:28] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Oh!"
- [18:28] Altan Al-Shar says, "Sounds good."
- [18:29] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "You showed up just in time my liege!"
- [18:29] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "How do you fare, Uri?"
- [18:29] Uri Sanctum asks, "Are you free to speak of a certain matter?"
- [18:29] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "I am."
- [18:30] Danica Drugovic asks, "Did ye' 'ave any plans' t'day?"
- [18:30] Uri Sanctum says, "I fare well, but the matter I want to speak about involves a vassalship. And, whatever Viorell here might be able to report."
- [18:30] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "I always have work."
- [18:31] Uri Sanctum says, "Because you're so good at it."
- [18:31] Uri smirks.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:31] The Petrakis King rolls his eyes. Almost a smile escapes him but not quite.
- "Speak freely, the both of you."
- (Alexander rei Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:39] Uri would first look to Viorell… "Vio, I want you to give the King any information on the prisoners, their status... I ask you this as a Captain concerned for his crew mates and those involved within the imprisonment of the Myls… Please, place all feelings aside, for the better health of those captured..."
- He asked his crew mate with this humble request...Now onto the next phase of action.
- "Xyth plans to make a settlement, this, I am sure you know...So, I want to ask you, as a member of its council, if we would be granted Vassalship, in the events that the other settlements of Esshar will not allow Osilot to remain neutral, as a trade settlement... And also.." He would finally sit down.
- Legs crossed, native American style, this was almost like a form of meditation, for actually, a formality he picked up on the sea. To sit or take a knee in the presence of a high power.
- "There is also the matter of the Brienne noble family... I know that during Vivian's lead, things were, unruly, to the point of me having to divorce her for the safety and sake of my own crew and those who were affiliated with her... One action saved many lives and one person, a different lead can do the same which is why I wish to ask..."
- "King Alexander, would you grant me proper control of the Brienne family... As I plan to make 'certain' movements that will protect those within the household, for as long as Vivian remains absent, and while they are under threat, while my children's lives remain in danger, for their were born... With targets on their back... And I, simply wish to see that they and all of the Brienne servants are safe."
- He finally turns to Athena, "Athee… It is time to speak your heart here in the court of the King, if you feel that I deserve such a rite..."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:41] She entered and stayed silent! Just watching. Listening. You know, typical Ophelia things.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:52] Viorell shoots Uri a glare. Frankly, he didn't want to say anything to the king, especially since he was trying to remain neutral. There was also the issue revolving Uri's marriage, which he had blamed on the King and the oligarchy of Osrona, and a few other issues he had. All in all, the drakanite didn't have a favorable impression of the king.
- Luckily, he held a bond with his crew that were stronger than his bonds for nations. "I'll say this only because of my friendship with Uri, and not because I care for whatever happens to your country. I believe you're getting what you deserve for all of the injustices and corruption you let happen. Anyway, I digress." He began to speak out, clearly vocalizing his distaste for the current order of things.
- "From my travels around, the prisoners of Myllenoris are being treated like humans. They are allowed to roam freely so long as they cause no issue. There were even some who have been released. If it wasn't for the fact that I travel all over, I wouldn't have known who was a prisoner from looking at them. Even your own men have been treated fairly behind their walls. There is one individual in particular that has slightly different treatment, which is our guildmate Esbern. He's a neutral party and is being held because of his engagement with Astrid. Beyond that, he is treated fairly well in Myllenoris as well."
- Having said his peace, he steps back towards Athena. He felt sick to his stomach speaking to the King. If it wasn't for his friendship with Uri, Viorell would have probably spat in the man's face, even if doing such would net him a one way ticket to prison.
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:02] The Petrakis King looks Virell over. "If you do not want to stay here, you are free to leave," he says plainly and as politely as a King could when passive-aggressiveness reigns.
- Alexander then goes on to speak to Uri.
- "Xyth told me this before. You will have to give me the details of the settlement. I need information," he informs.
- Alexander rei Petrakis then listens on to the rest of it. Unfortunate as their marriage was, there had to be some key things cleared up. "No. Uri, your marriage was annulled and the Brienne family is more than one person. What movements do you even mean? I have not heard of these threats either," he explains.
- (Alexander rei Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:12]
- {LOAD GAME}
- [19:14] If things were his way, he'd stay away from Osrona, and not have to see the king. However, he couldn't just throw away the last few years of his life just because of his dislike for the nobles and other members of the Osronian oligarchy. During the last few years, he'd made a family amongst the Soaring Phoenix members. Even if he were from Theria, they had accepted him with open arms. It was for this very reason, this surrogate family, that he stood by Uri's side during these troubling times.
- "I'm here to support my friend, and brother in arms, Uri. For the guild, we throw away our differences to help one and another. It's how deep our loyalty is to each other. Whether I like how you run things or not, it doesn't matter when Uri or anyone else from our guild needs support," he'd answer.
- Personally, he didn't think the King would understand where he was coming from. After all, the two came from very different worlds. One was a born into nobility, with a birthright to rule, while the other was just a normal person from another land who just wanted to live the peaceful life.
- "Let me ask you this, your majesty. Why did you annul their marriage? Both Uri and Vivian says not to blame you, but I just can't get this thought out of my head. You're King of Osrona after all."
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:14] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Uri asked me to to."
- [19:15] Viorell Beret says, ".............."
- [19:15] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "...?"
- [19:15] Viorell Beret asks, "Is this true Uri?"
- [19:16] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "And loyalty that deep. I can respect that."
- [19:17] Ophelia blinked, confused by Viorell's statement. Hadn't Uri just mentioned that he had to divorce Vivian for the safety and sake of his own crew...? The Montclaire glanced towards Alexander briefly and then back to those in the center.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:23] Uri looks between Viorell and Alexander... "Hold your feelings Viorell… This is essential for Esbern… But if you wish to leave, just wait for me outside..."
- He sighs... "The Annulment was by my request Viorell… I was getting to that actually..."
- He looks to Viorell directly, "You were there when I gave my reason... That someone, --not the King--- Had placed a hit on the Brienne bloodline on all those affiliated including the crew... You were there when I explained that the King had truly and I mean truly... Nothing to do with these decisions..."
- He sighs, and goes over the pat Viorell on the shoulder... "Do not let any anger cloud your judgement... I've explained this ten times already... Do not make me do so again my friend..."
- He looks back to Alexander, "I do understand the denial though... But, with Xyth's settlement issue, I will need him present, I just came here to scratch the surface, to make things quicker once they came around..."
- He points west... "Osilot, it'll be a settlement built in the swamps, at the very end of the western lands of Esshar… It's been funded by myself and various others..."
- But he sighs and rub his head. "I did not mean for this to get complicated... Viorell, I only wanted the report, not speak of the annulment... I could have explained it more if you weren't sure... I said that it needed to be done due to certain circumstances...Not the King, the hits placed onto the Brienne from an unknown figure... It's why I said its crucial that I and I alone speak with Elizabeth to find out the truth... When I ask these things of my friends, it is a strategic movement, not one to start arguments."
- Uri was not angry, but he did not like anyone speaking for him.
- "The movements were just that of my blood within the Brienne, not the entire noble family---But on my part it was foolish to assume there was only one... My goal was simply to hide my children's identity, till they are of age to defend themselves from any hidden threats... Being the assassins who were hired to kill them," calmly. said the Captain.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:27] She opted to speak up then, given it regarded Esbern and him currently being held in Myllenoris.
- "Just for your information... I've already spoken to Regulus in Myllenoris regarding Esbern's conditions for release. I have passed the document to Astrid. For now? His release depends upon her decision on what to do regarding it." She explained patiently before falling silent once more.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:28] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Thank you, lady Ophelia."
- [19:30] Uri nods to Ophelia in appreciation.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:30] The young man was starting to see the king in a better light. Most of his grievences were simply from his own misunderstandings birthed by rage over aseries of events. It was simply easy to place the blame on someone like the king, as he was essentially the face of the kingdom. Even if he had nothing to do with anything, there'd be a huge chance that he'd catch the blame for it.
- He'd never thought of things in that way, which made him feel a bit smaller. There was clearly room to grow from the drakanite. "Sorry for the outburst then. I'll admit I was wrong, and came to conclusions on my own through a clouded lens," he'd state loudly for everyone to hear. It wasn't easy for someone to admit their wrongdoings, and it certainly wasn't easy for Viorell to see and admit his own errors.
- "I let my anger over everything get the best of me. Especially while we were at Xyth's house. Things happened too fast, and I just couldn't hold it. Again, sorry for the outburst and the antagonistic behavior."
- Having said what he needed, he returns to the side to listen to what else was needed to be said.
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:31] Uri Sanctum says, "I'd much appreciate it if you gave these apologies to the King directly... He's been a good friend since we were children... Despite all political matters, our crew is a neutral faction, and to succeed in such, we must put certain feelings aside..."
- [19:33] Uri Sanctum says, "I hope you can grow from this Viorell.. I'd like to see you in charge of your own division when the day comes that we should conquer the Black Market and another piece of Los'tal."
- [19:38] One thing Alexander could respect more than anything was loyalty. And then came Uri's relation and explanation. A glance when he mentions Osilot and Xyth meeting in person. There was little said on the matter of Viorell's outburst, a nod, accepting it. The Petrakis could understand frustrations over misunderstandings.
- "You are fine. As for your children. A hard matter. We can hide their identity in regards to Vivian and yourself but you told me that the 'threats' are against the entirety of the Brienne line?"
- (Alexander rei Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:45] Uri nods his head to this... "It all started, shortly after the marriage, first... Athena was attacked, that was just the start of it... Someone striking at those familiar to Vivian for her rudeness... However, that one action alone wouldn't be linked to what followed after..."
- He sighs, "For unknown reasons... Lemuria has died. And upon other ventures Vivian did not properly inform me of... Some within my own crew had been attacked, and so, it all came down to one conclusion..."
- He shook his head, "I tried to ignore it, but eventually, everything came together through the passing of wind...An unknown figure warned me of the hit made on Vivian and those involved... All due to her approach to the world and things she might have done, things even I don't know of... So if I plan to resolve any of this, I'll have to find its potential source, and question Elizabeth, not as an interrogator but as a friend... To find out who made the hit so that it can be canceled," said the young Captain.
- "I know, it was a mouthful, but, that's the issues I've dealt with the past year aside from the issues of Esbern'o's capture."
- So, he takes a seat on the ground again, Indian style.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:49] The Petrakis King nods, listening to Uri as the captain remains sat on the ground.
- "Be careful when meeting with her, but it does seem that is best. In the meanwhile, your children will be kept in secret in Aerendale. When you find out the full story, we can talk again. But to me, it seems like your crew is being forced to be not neutral," he informs.
- (Alexander rei Petrakis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:56] Uri smiles a bit... Leaning forward while in the indian styled sitting position... He simply glides his fingertips upon the carpet of the throne room... A fine silk it was, symbolism for what Uri would say next.
- "A fabric of unison can always be cut by a sneaky set of knives and scissors, it's why I wanted to speak with you, to assure that such a bond between my crew and the people here isn't cut..."
- He sits up straight, "Within Aerendale, that I can rest easy with, maybe even until the day Osilot is forged, and hopefully, by then, this entire issue would have faded away into the Ocean of Time."
- "But," he smiles at Alexander.
- "Serious matters aside, I want to say that I like the improvements made onto the throne room... Especially, with an easy escape route to the open sea if such emergencies called for it... Well thought out," he teased. For Uri hated one thing more than anything, and that was having to approach an old friend with serious matters when all he truly wanted to do was drink with them, and have fun on the ship. "I really do miss the old days, when the lot of us would simply sit around, playing truth or dare."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:03] The King of Esshar keeps eyes steady, but there is a quiet consideration. Contemplation takes hold.
- "As do I, Uri. And yes, it is better. It would be fitting if things could return to that," he informs the Sanctum. "I would love to talk more but there is other matters I have to tend to," more work. The Petrakis looks over to Ophelia and speaks shortly. "Do you have anything to report, lady Ophelia?"
- (Alexander rei Petrakis)
- [20:05] She'd look over towards Alexander before shaking her head.
- "Just one thing; I encountered an Occultist out in the wild. It's most likely the best if the First Light knows about it. Cetta called him Mihalis. I tried to prevent him from killing someone, and came close to stopping him." She said quietly.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:07] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "Who did he kill?"
- [20:08] It was a habit of his... But Uri couldn't help but stare and glance at the many openings within the castle... He thought, if there was an assassin, it'd likely be someone capable of utilizing water magic, someone who could easily take advantage of the water ways around Osrona..After all, there was nothing that truly blocked anyone from swimming in the river, till they got to the rear of the castle...
- Capable of climbing in and entering through one of the many windows without even as much need as to fight a knight... In Uri's mind, there was too many access points to address... Something he'd have to bring up on a later date...
- "Of course, I won't hold you up, but, you will keep that promise right? To visit the Grand Stallion, my ship once it is done in construction?" He then looks to Ophelia, "I'd like all of you to come, a sort of break from your daily duties if you will," said Uri in a welcoming tone.
- He awaits for a response, before he'd make his departure.
- He was curious though about the occultist.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:08] Ophelia cos Montclaire says, "I don't know their name."
- [20:09] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "I keep my promises, always."
- [20:09] Viorell Beret asks, "Another outbreak?"
- [20:09] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "Do you have a description of him, Ophelia?"
- [20:12] Ophelia cos Montclaire says, "Ah."
- [20:12] He smiles happily..
- "I'll continue to look forward to it then," he gives a brief bow before standing up.
- He turns to Viorell and Athena, whistling with a sharp noise and nodding his head forward so that his chin would point to the door. Hopefully his horse, Silver-bullet could hear this. If not, the Captain wouldn't be surprised, horse... Had a few issues.
- "We must not intrude on royal business when we've already been dismissed."
- The Wandering Phoenix led his crew, "It's time for our honorable departure."
- (Uri Sanctum)
