The Alternative Right is a name for a collective group with far right leaning ideologies. They call themselves 'alternative' because they differ from the American mainstream right, or Conservative party. The term originated with Richard Spencer, the guy that got punched on national TV. Mr. Spencer is a White Supremacist and the president of the National Policy Institute. The NPI describes itself on its front page as "an independent organization dedicated to the heritage, identity, and future of people of European descent in the United States, and around the world." Mr. Spencer did not found the NPI, and it was founded by the sirs William Regnery and Samuel T. Francis with the collaboration of Louis R. Andrews back in 2005. Mr. Regnery also publishes the Occidental Quarterly, a far-right political zine that was also edited by Mr. Francis until his death. While Mr. Spencer rejects the term, I'll be calling these folks 'White Nationalists'.

I'm going to dive as deep as I can stand into the NPI and Mr. Spencer, taking quotes directly and providing links to the utilized articles. My problem is that I can't sift through bullshit for very long.

To begin, the NPI pushes out research articles, books, and videos on a semi regular basis. This includes online articles and a physical journal. These papers are about, among other things, how school reforms have failed since the 1950s, how the 'social sciences' are engaging in a 'war' on Human Nature, and that immigration in the United States is similar to 'Settler Colonialism' and how it can be combated. In particular I'll point out these quotes, in whole, from the article "The War on Human Nature" by Byron Roth:

"Unfortunately, this kind of suppression of dissent has infiltrated all walks of life and has had a poisonous effect on the onetime valued ideal of a free exchange of ideas. For instance, in addressing Black-White gaps in education one must claim to believe that such differences are always attributable to social causes and never to any inherent characteristics of individuals. For instance, if Black children are disciplined more frequently in school, it can only be attributed to teachers’ biases. It can never be due to the fact that Black children are many times more likely to engage in criminal acts on the streets when not in school, and do not drop their propensities simply by walking through the schoolhouse door."

"Until now, physical scientists have not had to contend with political correctness, but that is changing. The completion of the mapping of the human genome and very recent advances in the ability to decode individual genes has led many scientists to explore genetic components of disease, including racial differences in disease patterns. This research has not always been welcomed, even though it promises to lead to better diagnosis of diseases, which are more common in some races, and in better treatments, some of which are more effective in some races than in others."

"Well-known commentator and Contributing Editor at National Review, John Derbyshire was also fired in 2012 because of a satirical piece he published in the wake of the brouhaha over the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin. The piece was a direct response to a highly publicized 'talk' that required black mothers to warn their teenage sons about the dangers posed by White police. In his piece Derbyshire pointed to the hypocrisy of Blacks in their prejudicial view of White police, when contrasted with the real threat of Black crime. In his hypothetical talk with his children, he recited the dangers to Whites posed by black thugs. Instead of taking this for what it was, i.e., a serious rebuke to Black parents who instill fear of endemic White racism in their children, Derbyshire was summarily fired for unacceptable thoughts. Of course, the only people who should find this unacceptable are those who would deny the staggering reality of Black crime."

In fact, this very article references the Occidental Quarterly:

"Kevin Lamb was summarily fired from his job as managing editor of the conservative newsweekly Human Events when it was discovered that, in his free time, he was writing for and editing The Occidental Quarterly, a journal 'that specializes in research and analysis on issues involving race, ethnicity, politics and culture.' The journal in question has been denounced as "white supremacist" since it promotes the idea that Western Civilization is a product of the unique nature of European peoples."

I think that's about enough for this article, don't you? Let's head into the Radix Journal, published by the NPI. They state in their about that "RADIX publishes original work on culture, race, tradition, meta-politics, and critical theory." The journal itself was founded in 2012. In case you needed to be any more concerned, Radix has an entire section of it's site on the sidebar called "The Red Pill", which leads to the following articles: "The Alt Right and the Impossibility of Conservativism", "What the Founders Really Thought about Race", and "Race- Stalking the Wild Taboo". In particular, the opening note of the last article has me extremely concerned.

"Race is a subject that has been talked about to the point of weariness, if not nausea. Yet most discussions consists of little more than wishful thinking, contradiction, and outright malice.
You know the refrain:
All the races are equal, but Whites oppress everyone else . . . then again, race doesn’t really exist, which is why we must strive for greater racial diversity!
It is understandable that so many are confused by and sick of the entire subject-especially White people, the targets of so much blame and hostility.
It need not be this way."

I'd also like to point out this short passage from the first article:

"The election of Barack Obama, "the most liberal man in the Senate," is a crowning moment for a federal welfare state that’s grown steadily for over 50 years, regardless of which party was in office. Each individual state is merely an administrative unit for a centralized bureaucracy. All important decisions are made by the Supreme Court. On social issues, conservatives have been in abject retreat, even as leftists bemoan the rise of "Christian fascism." The ban on school prayer, enacted in 1962 with Engel vs. Vitale, has about as much chance of being overturned as the 1964 Civil Right Act. Gay marriage is a reality in several states. Mass immigration from the Third World is not just permitted but hailed as a moral imperative and encouraged by leaders of both political parties. The children of those immigrants receive preferences in education and job placement over Americans whose roots go back to the Founders."

Moving from there, the books published by NPI have names such as "The Great Erasure: The Reconstruction of White Identity" and "The Great Purge: The Deformation of the Conservative Movement", "Race Differences in Intelligence" and "Understanding Jewish Influence". That last book has this short description:

"In three in-depth essays, Kevin MacDonald analyzes Jewish history and Jews’ impact on the modern world through the lens of evolutionary psychology: "Background Traits for Jewish Activism," "Zionism and the Internal Dynamics of Judaism," and "Neoconservatism as a Jewish Movement." Introduction by Samuel T. Francis."

I wanted to continue to show exactly the colours the NPI shows us, but in an almost sick twist, the Radix Journal twitter the account had been suspended! However, I still have the tweets themselves, shown on the frontpage of Radix Journal. Some of them are almost supervillain quality, even linking to it's own page with the tagline, "Sharing this disgusting article to shine a light on the ideology of some on the alt right." If you were wondering, it's an article about how Alt-Right individuals shouldn't 'fall for the Pro-Life temptation' and the incredibly awful quote of, "No one wants to be a stay-at-home wife to a man who is needy, weak, or cowardly".

I'd love to rest my case here, but fact is that this simply isn't enough. As far as this goes, this just looks like a publication company made from bad choices living under the awful excuse of 'Social Darwinism'. If we really want to get to the nit grit here, we gotta look at Mr. Spencer. Spencer is a self-proclaimed Identitarian and has really, actually said the following:

From the Radix Article "The God of White Dispossession": "Martin Luther King Jr., a fraud and degenerate in his life, has become the symbol and cynosure of White Dispossession and the deconstruction of Occidental civilization. We must overcome!"
From the NPI Article "Choosing Limbo: "Immigration is a kind a proxy war-and maybe a last stand-for White Americans, who are undergoing a painful recognition that, unless dramatic action is taken, their grandchildren will live in a country that is alien and hostile."
At a White Nationalist gathering in DC: "In the mid 19th century, many Jews in Central Europe had an idea of an ethno-state, an idea of Zionism, and they were considered ridiculous and insane. But they had that dream, and that dream came into reality. Our dream is a new society, an ethno-state that would be a gathering point for all Europeans. It would be a new society based on very different ideals than, say, the Declaration of Independence."
And finally, the "Peaceful Ethnic Cleansing" quote in full context: "Today, in the public imagination, "ethnic-cleansing" has been associated with civil war and mass murder (understandably so).  But this need not be the case.  1919 is a real example of successful ethnic redistribution-done by fiat, we should remember, but done peacefully."

I'm not even going to pretend to be friendly anymore. I'm tired and angry, because these next pieces require scathing review. When saluting President Elect #45, Richard Spencer and other Alt Right White Nationalists utilized the call of "Hail Trump" with a Nazi hand sign. Until extremely recently, the Alt-Right utilized Swastikas as it's symbol. Actually literal Swastikas. Richard Spencer was supported by the KKK in a recent skuffle against Infowars editor Paul Watson.

I'm done being nice. I'm done with writing this. These people in the Alt-Right are pseudo-intellectual Neo-Nazi Racists. By calling them something they aren't, we give them the same power we give to people with actually good ideas. When I say they're Nazis, I fucking mean it.
