Background: Growing up, she was seen as more of a "boy" rather than ladylike by her two brothers and father; also by being the blacksmith's first daughter. She learned quite a few "aspects" of daily life from her two brother's including dirty language and some pranks (she didn't get as much into that, but she definitely adopted the foul language). While her father and brothers didn't mind her not being ladylike, Aeri's mother definitely did. She was very strict about propriety, and often physically abused Aeri when she made a mistake. Surprisingly, Aeri became fearful of her mother; she thought about running away multiple times. Aeri decided against it almost just as many, because she knew that it was a pointless battle. She considered changing her manor many times as well. And many times did she go back to wanting to run away. When the offer of becoming royalty come up, she found it a better option to become what her mother wanted—and without the abuse.
