  1. [3:34:33 PM] Knight: you seem to be really keen on this idea of playing a really, really feminine character
  2. [3:34:52 PM] Skrub: and you seem really keen on playing a barbarian
  3. [3:34:55 PM] Turnop: If bee movie chick could fucc a bee
  4. [3:34:56 PM] Nobody Important: ... And?
  5. [3:34:58 PM] Nobody Important: What's wrong with that?
  6. [3:35:01 PM] Knight: nothing
  7. [3:35:05 PM] Turnop: I'M GONNA FIND A WAY TOO
  8. [3:35:11 PM] Skrub: then why the fuck would you mention it nig
  9. [3:35:22 PM] Turnop: Not with myself though that's for low-class peasants
  10. [3:35:51 PM] Turnop: Fear my gobeelin swarm
  11. [3:36:09 PM] Knight: well there isn't anything wrong with being gay either
  12. [3:36:37 PM] Skrub: the hell you talkin about
  13. [3:36:41 PM] Nobody Important: ....?
  14. [3:36:42 PM] Knight: I'm just saying, there's an element of wish fulfillment in most characters
  15. [3:36:45 PM] Nobody Important: This is becoming a weird conversation.
  16. [3:36:46 PM] Nobody Important: Whad.
  17. [3:36:55 PM] Knight: this was a weird conversation to begin with
  18. [3:37:42 PM] Turnop: How dare you insinuate the greatest sorcerer, inventor and historian of all time be gay
  19. [3:37:46 PM] Nobody Important: I'm not sure when I choose to play a character that I want to be that character.
  20. [3:38:02 PM] Turnop: Low-class scum of any gender just isn't worth his-her vital tine
  21. [3:38:09 PM] Turnop: Not when there's so much to catalogue
  22. [3:38:16 PM] Turnop: And study
  23. [3:38:18 PM] Knight: but they usually possess traits you wish you had, no?
  24. [3:38:26 PM] Turnop: also please keep rl fetishes away
  25. [3:38:32 PM] Turnop: thnx
  26. [3:38:37 PM] Nobody Important: .... No?
  27. [3:38:38 PM] Turnop: and no
  28. [3:38:54 PM] Rob: [3:38:26 PM] Turnop: also please keep rl fetishes away
  29. [3:38:32 PM] Turnop: thnx
  30. [3:38:37 PM] Nobody Important: .... No?
  31.
  32. didn't see knights thing at first
  33. [3:39:01 PM] Rob: got worried
  34. [3:39:13 PM] Nobody Important: I mean, I suppose in a sense they may come to share some traits that I have, but that's just because the things i like tend to be fairly common; honesty, bravery, et cetera.
  35. [3:40:02 PM] Knight: relax Rob, I was just question Turnop's sexuality
  36. [3:40:12 PM] Nobody Important: TBH knight I don't know where you were coming from with that nor where you're going to.
  37. [3:40:27 PM] Rob: no I thought nob was refusing to keep his fetishes out of the game
  38. [3:40:55 PM] Nobody Important: Well, my fetishes are dungeon crawling and slaying monsters.
  39. [3:40:55 PM] Skrub: On 11/8/2016, at 12:38 PM, Knight wrote:

  42. i want to be a not!evangelistic not!aztec lizardman with wings
  43. [3:41:03 PM] Knight: eh, he could probably sneak them in under our noses and we'd never know the better

  47. [3:41:45 PM] Knight: Skrub, what's wrong with your Skype? You can't seem to quote properly
  48. [3:41:57 PM] Skrub: i am currently on the phone
  49. [3:42:02 PM] Knight: ah
  50. [3:42:15 PM] Nobody Important: eh, he could probably sneak them in under our noses and we'd never know the betterHow would that benefit me.
  51. [3:42:34 PM] Nobody Important: Jeez, if this is how Knight sees characters I fear to think what he thinks i'm like.
  52. [3:43:07 PM] Skrub: an 80 y/o wizard
  53. [3:45:12 PM] Mosskin: If I ever get to GM the setting will include at least one amazon tribe. This is non-negotiable.
  54. [3:45:24 PM] Turnop: I do not wish to be a feminine snobby sorcerer-philosopher as I don't want to be a horny but honest chav with daddy + emotional issues knight
  55. [3:45:28 PM] Nobody Important: Oh, yeah, that reminds me; I have a 'short' description of the AdEva game I played that I wrote up when talking to another player in my group.
  56. [3:45:35 PM] Nobody Important: Would you guys be interested in seeing that?
  57. [3:45:38 PM] Turnop: I don't self-onset I ply them because they are interesting characters
  58. [3:45:43 PM] Knight: [3:42 PM] Nobody Important:
  59.
  60. <<< Jeez, if this is how Knight sees characters I fear to think what he thinks i'm like.let's see, horse that knows karate, mute wisewoman/scholar, 80 year old wizard........am I missing anything?
  61. [3:45:52 PM] Turnop: The only character of mine I've made here I can see myself in a bit is Clarke
  62. [3:46:26 PM] Knight: I don't see anything terribly alarming in those 3 characters
  63. [3:46:32 PM] Turnop: How can you even write stories if you're just self-insertion
  64. [3:46:34 PM] Turnop: That sounds terrible
  65. [3:46:44 PM] Rob: [3:45 PM] Nobody Important:
  66.
  67. <<< Would you guys be interested in seeing that?ye
  68. [3:46:46 PM] Turnop: And retarded tbh
  69. [3:46:53 PM] Turnop: driving atm
  70. [3:47:07 PM] Knight: >self-insertation
  71. Woah now, I never used that phrase.
  72. [3:47:42 PM] Nobody Important: Sure, gimme a second. It needs a bit of background as to who I'm talking to, though.
  73. [3:48:00 PM] Nobody Important: Basically, the guy I'm talking to is a player in the new AdEva game I'm in.
  74. [3:48:07 PM] Nobody Important: He was added by the GM after we started.
  75. [3:48:34 PM] Nobody Important: I'm playing a face/leader role, but a reluctant one since he's still terrified of everything. I want to develop the character into a true leader over the course of the game.
  76. [3:48:55 PM] Nobody Important: The new guy comes in, and starts talking to me in private about how my character clearly doesn't deserve the leader role, and that he wants to play the leader.
  77. [3:49:07 PM] Knight: woo boy
  78. [3:49:17 PM] Nobody Important: He's also using basically my build, but a more optimized version since I did some things different for fluff.
  79. [3:49:25 PM] Knight: I smell a shitstorm brewing
  80. [3:49:45 PM] Nobody Important: So, at this point I start panicking and thinking he's gonna replace me. GM disagrees. I try to tell him that this is a serious worry for me. GM starts insulting me, and a shitstorm does brew for a bit.
  81. [3:49:55 PM] Nobody Important: This conversation is part of an attempt by the new guy to 'placate' me.
  82. [3:49:56 PM] Turnop: Wish fulfillment = self insert with depression
  83. [3:50:02 PM] Turnop: Will read when at home nob
  84. [3:50:18 PM] Knight: maybe that's how you see it
  85. [3:50:20 PM] Nobody Important: He wanted to hear why I was so worried about having all my roles taken away from me by his character, so I posted what happened to my last AdEva face/leader character.
  86. [3:50:49 PM] Knight: I know for a fact that my characters are too different from me to be inserts
  87. [3:51:12 PM] Knight: for one thing, they all love going out and doing shit
  88. [3:51:30 PM] Knight: no, as I see it, the wish fulfillment bit is just living vicariously through them
  89. [4:11:08 PM] Knight: [2:13:15 AM] Nobody Important: Simon and Sigrun do a weird AT thing that is heavily implied to be sex-like.
  90. [2:13:20 AM] Nobody Important: Dain stands there, awkwardly.
  91. [2:13:39 AM] Nobody Important: The description goes on for a full thirty minutes of innuendo and reacting from GC, WBL, and the GM.
  92. [2:13:54 AM] Nobody Important: Dain occasionally whispers to Central if they're getting this, because this is weird.
  93. [4:11:10 PM] Knight: wew
  94. [4:11:19 PM] Nobody Important: This was 30 minutes long.
  95. [4:18:06 PM] Knight: [2:57:46 AM] Nobody Important: Jern sits down to negotiate with the Babylonians in Antarctica, and the one character with no Empathy skills gets to negotiate a peace between the Babylonians and humanity.
  96. [4:18:50 PM] Nobody Important: Because he's the main character, obviously.
  97. [4:19:24 PM] Mosskin: ANIME
  98. N
  99. I
  100. M
  101. E
  102. [4:20:30 PM] Turnop: okay reading back nowish
  103. [4:20:40 PM] Turnop: sigrun is a top-tier name
  104. [4:20:46 PM] Turnop: shame if it's being used by a weirdo
  105. [4:20:47 PM] Turnop: P.S.
  106. [4:20:57 PM] Turnop: Well, my fetishes are dungeon crawling and slaying monsters.jfc nob that's kinky tone it down
  107. [4:20:58 PM] Nobody Important: Her real name is michelle. She was brainwashed into a TV idol for some reason.
  108. [4:21:10 PM] Turnop: >brainwashing
  109. [4:21:15 PM] Turnop: starting off with a bottom-tier fetish I see
  110. [4:21:26 PM] Nobody Important: (The player is mexicano.)
  111. [4:21:37 PM] Turnop: this begins to explain
  112. [4:21:54 PM] Nobody Important: Sane Man is playing Simon.
  113. [4:22:13 PM] Nobody Important: /pol/tard edgelord is Jern. You don't need to know about Gyuri's player because they were basically never present.
  114. [4:23:49 PM] Rob: finished reading
  115. [4:23:50 PM] Rob: wew
  116. [4:23:51 PM] Nobody Important: Of course, remember that all of this is from my perspective and thus may be biased.
  117. [4:24:00 PM] Rob: you put up with a whole lotta shit nob
  118. [4:24:05 PM] Knight: likewise finished
  119. [4:24:16 PM] Rob: though ultimately Dain seems like a cool character
  120. [4:24:28 PM] Knight: indeed
  121. [4:24:29 PM] Rob: though that's more because of your efforts
  122. [4:24:35 PM] Nobody Important: Ah, the things I did to play my accidentally aryan ubermensch megalomaniac clone supervillain/hero.
  123. [4:24:45 PM] Knight: Dain is a cool character in spite of GM neglect
  124. [4:25:02 PM] Nobody Important: Heh. Thanks, guys.
  125. [4:26:07 PM] Mosskin: It's true.
  126. [4:31:06 PM] Knight: >notice it's getting dark out
  127. >"gee, it must be getting late now"
  128. >4:30
  129. [4:31:26 PM] Nobody Important: you put up with a whole lotta shit nobI sure did. I enjoyed it, though. I've actually done some soul-searching since that game ended, and have concluded that while I enjoy meme-tier characters (karate horse and Professor Frizzle) I actually like playing more... 'regular' people more.
  130. [4:31:32 PM] Nobody Important: It's fun to see them change over time.
  131. [4:31:34 PM] Mosskin: Winter has come.
  132. [4:31:38 PM] Nobody Important: I do very much enjoy the face role, though.
  133. [4:31:52 PM] Knight: you know, the nicest thing about living near the equator must be that the seasonal change in length of days is so small that it never fucks with your perception of time
  134. [4:31:55 PM] Turnop: Serious characters > meme characters for any real game by far
  135. [4:32:14 PM] Turnop: When the players are into playing real, layerd, interesting human characters it makes for a fun game
  136. [4:32:28 PM] Turnop: And, maybe more importantly, an equally interesting story
  137. [4:32:39 PM] Knight: I still like to start with fairly blank slate characters though
  138. [4:32:41 PM] Turnop: speaking of, what's the general tone for DnD going to be
  139. [4:32:50 PM] Turnop: blank slate humans do not exist
  140. [4:33:08 PM] Knight: relatively blank slate, anyways
  141. [4:33:16 PM] Nobody Important: Uh...?
  142. [4:33:16 PM] Turnop: A more serious game would probably mean it'd be better to play a female, a more lighthearted one maybe better to play as a male
  143. [4:33:27 PM] Nobody Important: What do you mean by humans do not exist?
  144. [4:33:37 PM] Turnop: [4:32 PM] Turnop:
  145.
  146. <<< blank slate humans
  147. [4:33:47 PM] Nobody Important: Oh, sorry. Misread that there.
  148. [4:34:04 PM] Nobody Important: Hm. I suppose it depends on you guys as to the tone.
  149. [4:34:33 PM] Nobody Important: Generally, the backdrop is going to be pretty dark and there's a lot of political bad things happening in the background, but, if you guys want a lighter game, it's still easily possible to do that.
  150. [4:34:49 PM] Nobody Important: Also one of your allies at least at the start of the game is going to be a consumed worshipper of the bright queen
  151. [4:34:58 PM] Knight: >Generally, the backdrop is going to be pretty dark and there's a lot of political bad things happening in the background, but, if you guys want a lighter game, it's still easily possible to do that.
  152. How far away is this background?
  153. [4:36:04 PM] Nobody Important: Depends if you go north or south, really.
  154. [4:36:05 PM] Mosskin: Well, thing is we have no real reason to get involved in politics outside of what directly helps us get home faster.
  155. [4:36:18 PM] Nobody Important: The south is currently a clusterfuck of petty kingdoms, but probably the easiest place to establish yourself as rulers.
  156. [4:36:43 PM] Nobody Important: The north is mountains controlled by Dorenklazh, the Orcs, and tribes of wild men intermittently. less politics there.
  157. [4:36:51 PM] Knight: hm, tough call
  158. [4:37:06 PM] Nobody Important: If you stay in the Empire of Emerald Fire and/or go to Zu, you'll be dealing with a massive buildup for war in the Land of Mists or a succession crisis in the Empire.
  159. [4:37:41 PM] Knight: Go north and go back home to my clan, or go south and make myself king of a foreign country a la Conan the Barbarian?
  160. [4:38:00 PM] Nobody Important: And either way the Duergar are expanding and creating colonies.
  161. [4:45:50 PM] Skrub: done reading
  162. what a story
  163. [4:46:12 PM] Skrub: i can't wait for the sequel
  164. [4:46:55 PM] Nobody Important: Haha probably not happening. I think I had a pitch for a sequel game though, gimme a minute.
  165. [4:48:15 PM] Nobody Important: Mh. On second thought, this pitch is terrible.
  166. [4:48:30 PM] Nobody Important: Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it, Skrub.
  167. [4:49:02 PM] Skrub: also i'm thinking kinda serious for game tone (though i know how we constantly shit on each other on the side)
  168. my plan is for the hobgoblin guy to be somewhat dark
  169. [4:49:22 PM] Knight: how dark we talking
  170. [4:49:34 PM] Mosskin: Try to sell us anyway.
  171. [4:49:54 PM] Nobody Important: Try to sell us anyway.I'll just copy-paste the old pitch I made.
  172. [4:50:01 PM] Knight: A black Jamaican man named Jamal drinking a Guinness dark?
  173. [4:50:01 PM] Nobody Important: I mean, if you actually want to see it.
  174. [4:50:05 PM] Knight: indeed we do
  175. [4:50:27 PM] Mosskin: Eh, I'm expecting dwarf priest to be normal. Relatively serious, but not CRAAAAWLING IN MY SKIIIIIIIIIIIN
  176. [4:50:34 PM] Mosskin: of course we do.
  177. [4:50:40 PM] Skrub: On 11/8/2016, at 1:49 PM, Knight wrote:
  178. > how dark we talking
  179. dunno
  180. depends on what works best
  181. [4:51:04 PM] Nobody Important: Four hundred years have past since the Last War. The world is idyllic and peaceful, with no reason for conflict or strife, and nature has returned to its original height, with sprawling forests, jungles, rolling plains and savannahs. Humanity lives, still the unquestionable masters of the world, but in a true utopia where all (or at least, almost all) end up happy and relatively fulfilled. Much lip-service is given to those who died in the Last War, the fight against the 'ultimate enemy of all mankind', but they have all been forgotten, or for the most famous, only remembered by their epithets; Asgard's Northern Star, the Little Hero, The Mistress-at-Arms, The Man of Iron, and the Betrayer. Truly, life is the best it has ever been.
  182.
  183. Until something comes from beyond, a giant in rusting metal armor and glowing light. It promises to 'Give Man it's Destiny', and introduces itself in an ancient tongue that scholars recognize as the true name of the Betrayer. The Babylonians, last warriors in a war-free world, barely manage to drive the Betrayer away, but at great cost. The idyllic world that mankind knows is shattered with the unleashing of the final deadly weapons of the Last War. In anger, the Betrayer leaves Earth, promising to come back in fourteen years to 'make Mankind see their destiny, whether they like it or not.' Humanity, having long forgotten how to make deadly weapons of war, prepares in fear and in shame for a battle with their most ancient foe.
  184. [4:51:36 PM] Turnop: neat concept
  185. [4:51:39 PM] Turnop: I only have one problem
  186. [4:51:52 PM] Turnop: >people being happy in four hundred years of absolute stagnation
  187. [4:52:04 PM] Turnop: sounds like a dystopia
  188. [4:52:05 PM] Knight: there was mind control involved
  189. [4:52:09 PM] Nobody Important: Well, that's Eva for you, and -- yeah.
  190. [4:52:30 PM] Nobody Important: Sigrun's Plan involved making everyone literally incapable of being unhappy either by removing free will or dragging everyone into a dream world.
  191. [4:52:38 PM] Turnop: wew
  192. [4:52:48 PM] Nobody Important: Hence: LAW END
  193. [4:53:48 PM | Edited 4:53:56 PM] Mosskin: Hy there Zul-Sammaroth what are you doing in my anime?
  194. [4:54:07 PM] Nobody Important: (It's an SMT reference. the Law sides victory tends to end like that.)
  195. [4:58:04 PM] Mosskin: Okay, right off the bat: is the betrayer Dain after he got bored of space?
  196. [4:58:15 PM] Nobody Important: Pretty much, yeah.
  197. [4:58:30 PM] Mosskin: Or after he met Kars and got his ass outstyled
  198. [4:58:32 PM] Nobody Important: Dain's epilogue was that he wanted Humanity to become stronger, but they weren't ready yet so he was gonna fuck off for a bit until they were.
  199. [4:58:48 PM] Nobody Important: Well, there was some other stuff too, but that's the gist of it.
  200. [4:59:24 PM] Nobody Important: Dain's legacy in the eyes of humanity is from Jern, who didn't like him very much. He only had the best intentions for humanity, he was just a megalomaniac.
  201. [5:01:02 PM] Nobody Important: To tell you the truth, I probably wouldn't run it for you guys. There'd be too many references to characters you'd never played with.
  202.
  203. If I ran AdEva for you guys (and one day I will, god willing), I'd probably want to do a Greek-styled or Japanese-styled mythology.
  204. [5:01:17 PM] Nobody Important: As opposed to the basic Kabbalistic Hebrew mythology.
  205. [5:02:10 PM] Knight: What about Maori style? Or in the general style of the religions of the Pacific islands?
  206. [5:02:59 PM] Skrub: what kinda monsters you get from that myth
  207. [5:03:10 PM] Knight: well, I'm not sure
  208. [5:03:26 PM] Skrub: also nob is an expert weeb (tm) so he knows all the good nip monsters
  209. [5:03:34 PM] Knight: you see, the thing is I've looked at so many different things that the Polynesians are the only things left that are really exotic to me anymore
  210. [5:04:10 PM] Nobody Important: I mean, I'm not sure maori specifically would work.
  211. [5:04:20 PM] Nobody Important: I suppose beasts from the Last World could arrive.
  212. [5:05:02 PM] Nobody Important: also nob is an expert weeb (tm) so he knows all the good nip monstersFunny you'd say that. My other groups claim that I'm not nearly weeb enough.
  213. [5:05:05 PM] Nobody Important: I don't even have a waifu.
  214. [5:05:13 PM] Knight: oh sure you do

  218. [5:05:30 PM] Nobody Important: Nor can I name popular anime I've watched recently other than JJBA.
  219. [5:05:31 PM] Nobody Important: Do I?

  224. [5:05:52 PM] Knight: well, I'm not completely familiar with everything else, but the Polynesians are what I know the least about by far
  225. [5:06:16 PM] Nobody Important: I'm not sure I should share that. One's waifu is deep, personal information.
  226. [5:06:27 PM] Skrub: i guarantee you'd find at least hindi myth exotic, for example
  227. [5:06:58 PM] Skrub: okay then
  228. put me in the group and i'll use my natural charm (read: none) to woo them
  229. [5:07:05 PM] Knight: yes, but I have a general sense of what the monsters and gods are like
  230. [5:07:19 PM] Nobody Important: put me in the group and i'll use my natural charm (read: none) to woo themI'll pass.
  231. [5:07:21 PM] Knight: like, the monsters are all demons and shit right?
  232. [5:07:29 PM] Nobody Important: They already think I'm an ultra-normie because I don' t like little girls.
  233. [5:07:52 PM] Skrub: wait
  234. you don't
  235. [5:07:56 PM] Skrub: get out

  239. Knight
  240. [5:08:57 PM] Skrub: this sounds like my type of group
  241. [5:09:08 PM] Mosskin: You did hint at an AdEva game based on japanese myth where some spirits want to return the earth to nature and some of them are fighting on the side of humanity.
  242. [5:09:13 PM] Skrub: who doesn't love pedophilia
  243. [5:09:38 PM] Turnop: [5:03 PM] Knight:

  247. [5:09:45 PM] Nobody Important: Yep, that was Shintovangelion, though that's still very much a work in progress.
  248. [5:10:05 PM] Nobody Important: 'Evangelions' would be giant spirits or constructs powered by prayer, channeled through the priest-pilot.
  249. [5:10:13 PM] Mosskin: IIRC I also moved forward the idea of playing as a weak spirit that temporarily resumes his giant form instead of hopping in a robot.
  250. [5:10:30 PM] Nobody Important: Yes, that could work too.
  251. [5:10:45 PM] Nobody Important: See, the thing about spirits in shinto is that they're effectively immune to 'normal' attacks.
  252. [5:10:54 PM] Nobody Important: An attack has to have spiritual meaning behind it to hurt them.
  253. [5:11:05 PM] Knight: [5:09 PM] Turnop:
  254.
  255. <<< hahahahaha
  256. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAThe fuck do you know about my life, blondie?
  257. [5:11:35 PM] Skrub: i'd like greek
  258. only then because i'd play a hundred-handed giant style mech
  259. [5:12:18 PM] Nobody Important: Greek mythology would be the Olympomachy -- humanity overthrowing the gods.
  260. [5:13:26 PM] Skrub: perfect
  261. since that's what the giants tried to do in the first place
  262. not the hundred-handed ones, but still giants
  263. [5:14:07 PM] Mosskin: [Friday, July 08, 2016 1:31 PM] Mosskin:
  264.
  265. <<< That's where everyone got it wrong. Matarael is in fact the 8th/9th angel.
  266. This is gonna be the story of Moronel, the 7th angel who left the group and went solo before they became sellouts.
  267. [5:15:12 PM] Knight: you know, the Olympians seemed to break the cycle hard if you ask me
  268. >Kronos overthrows his father Oranos
  269. >Zeus overthrows his father Kronos
  270. >none of Zeus's kids try to overthrow him because he doesn't try to kill them
  271. [5:15:50 PM] Nobody Important: Hence the inspiration.
  272. [5:16:53 PM] Skrub: anyways we could do both gook and grec
  273. greco-buddhism was a thing
  274. [5:17:16 PM] Nobody Important: @Moss; that'd be easily possible in Shintovangelion, since not all spirits are in opposition to mankind.
  275. [5:17:44 PM] Turnop: [5:16 PM] Skrub:
  276.
  277. <<< anyways we could do both gook and grec
  278. greco-buddhism was a thing
  279. [5:17:47 PM] Knight: well gents, this is a fascinating conversation, but if I am to secure a seat at the sports bar to watch the Leafs game tonight I should be leaving now
  280. Turnop
  281. [5:18:20 PM] Skrub: okay okay
  282. not really gook
  283. but still asian
  284. [5:19:04 PM] Nobody Important: Shinto =\= Buddhism.
  285. [5:19:16 PM] Nobody Important: Well; it depends when in japanese theology we're talking I suppose.
  286. [5:19:22 PM] Nobody Important: But definitely not post 1918.
  287. [5:21:29 PM] Nobody Important: Also Buddhism doesn't have a lot of monsters and is barely even a religion.
  288. [5:24:32 PM] Nobody Important: @knight: have fun.
  289. [5:34:43 PM | Edited 5:34:55 PM] Skrub: you right, you right
  290. confucian myth then
  291. all the classic chinese mythical beasts come from it
  292. [5:35:33 PM] Nobody Important: >Confucian
  293. >myth
  294. [5:36:05 PM] Nobody Important: Hey why don't you tell me about all those socratean myths?
  295. [5:36:38 PM] Mosskin: >following socratean myth
  296. >
  297. [5:36:50 PM] Turnop: >2016
  298. [5:36:55 PM] Mosskin: >not using Zeno's paradox to become immune to ranged attacks
  299. [5:36:57 PM] Turnop: >not following Aquinian myth
  300. [5:37:35 PM] Mosskin: >not using Cartesian dualism to get your enemies in a pincer attack between your mind and body
  301. [5:37:59 PM] Turnop: >not studying the rand mythos
  302. [5:38:03 PM] Turnop: step it up
  303. [5:38:12 PM] Nobody Important: The thing is, Confucius specifically refused to talk about 'the inexplicable, magic, ghosts and spirits.'
  304. [5:38:25 PM] Nobody Important: He was more about correct social order.
  305. [5:38:35 PM] Skrub: oh yeah i kn
  306. [5:38:36 PM] Skrub: ow
  307. [5:39:05 PM | Edited 5:40:26 PM] Skrub: "how can we know about the spiritual world if we don't know all about the material" and all that
  308. i was making a funny through fake ignorance
  309. my classic "i was only pretending to be retarded" act
  310. [5:42:16 PM] Nobody Important: Fair enough.
  311. [5:42:21 PM] Nobody Important: Chinese myth a shit though.
  312. [7:54:51 PM] Nobody Important: Having looked back over the logs, WBL/Mexicano never actually posted the 'spreadsheet' (which, apparently, was actually a list of grievances and not actually a spreadsheet. Small difference, but still.) That mistake is on me. He shared his grievances with me and the sane man, but never actually posted the full thing in our group chat.
  313. [7:55:02 PM] Nobody Important: Consider that a failure of memory on my part.
