  1. "I'm going to be straightforward here:
  2.
  3. I've dissented to past bans and was in favor of warnings- I have even opened discussion on reversing bans. However, I concur wholly on the most recent ban.
  4.
  5. You all aren't going to see the evidence against raven, because it is LITERALLY impossible to share that with out implicating people here and opening them up to harassment (when they were very clear they stay anonymous)
  6.
  7. "Warnings" are in place to help people learn from their mistakes and do better. Not to enable predatory people to hang around areas with minors and survivors.
  8.
  9. We were presented with a 10 page long post with testimonies from various 'anonymous' sources. I'm not here to witch hunt those anonymous sources because they're entitled to their opinions and they deserve their privacy. But I'd like to ask why you keep those sources anonymous. It's likely to protect them from harassment and retribution, isn't it?
  10. Hiding behind anonymity and calling for others to PUBLICLY share details of their harassment isn't the way forward here. I'm not asking any of y'all to come off anon but I'm trying to illustrate a point on how a lack of privacy will lead to harassment.

  12. When #metoo started, people said the same things that we're hearing here now about this particular case. The people who started that hashtag came forward publicly, sometimes after years of not disclosing what happened to them, only to be met with support from some and harassment from others. As a survivor of sexual assault, I'm going to focus on protecting the people who trusted me- I've seen their testimonies and evidence. If you still trust Raven after all of this, then that's fine- I can't force you to accept something without seeing the evidence for yourself. But keep in mind *why* I cant show you and maybe you'll be more forgiving of the people behind the scenes.
  13.
  14. if you don't trust us then that's fine. But I'd rather keep the trust of the people who came forward. Their safety and privacy is my priority.
  15.
  16. PS: We have an anonymous submission system in place on the google doc. We've already seen some submissions about a user banned in the past, and that's a big part of why I've tried opening discussions on that ban. I promise to you that they are kept 100% anonymous and not even we know who's submitting those. We've already had some people use them to voice discomforts with certain characters and players and have handled those behind the scenes.
  17.
  18. I just want to let you all know there's a place for your opinion to be heard.
