2. Usually I'd confine my political rants to my other accounts but this is something else. The recent attacks in Paris show us that multiculturalism has failed in Europe. That keeping our borders open and allowing hordes of people from the third world to enter just isn't benefiting us in any way whatsoever.
For starters, I am not a nationalist. But I am a big believer in common sense, common sense that we should look after our own before we look after others from other continents with cultures vastly different to ours. One in ten Scots live in extreme poverty but Nicola Sturgeon has said that we need to let in 10,000 refugees?
If people want to move to a country, that is fine, they should be allowed to do that. HOWEVER, if you want to move to a country, you need to realize that YOU are a minority in this new nation that you will call home and that YOU need to abide by its laws and customs along with contributing to the society. A lot of these refugees that you see on the news, clutching their children with tears running down their faces are not going to integrate into European society, in fact some of them are going with the Trojan Horse technique and will be bringing with them into Europe, radical beliefs which are completely incompatible with our culture and way of life. I have yet to see a good argument for allowing them to live among us that wasn't an appeal to emotion.
Is this racist? No, it isn't targeting any specific race, religion or ethnicity. If you insist that it is racist then that's up to you. That doesn't bother me, at this point the word "racist" is a dirty buzzword used by the left to refer to any opinions that they don't agree with.It means nothing to me, the word is like water on a raincoat.
