- Linden Dripgale - History
- Linden is as cowardly as he is deceiving, and most lucky. He often finds himself wriggling out of fatal situations by lying, begging on his knees not to be killed or through outstandingly lucky accidents. It's as if fate herself kissed his father and permanently fused a rabbit's foot to his child.
- Although Linden often gets himself out of sticky, life threatening situations such as; being used as rope in a game of 'tug of war' between two ogres, or escaping being poisoned by a trainee assassin due to offering, not to his own knowledge, the drink to a fair-maiden, who died untimely a week later. He believes that it is his brother, Alfred, who is the lucky one, for his brother is the one who received all of their father's gold and riches.
- It is to be noted that Linden is responsible for the death of his father after he mis-directly fired a frostfire bolt at a bookcase which fell and crushed their father.
- The reason for not receiving any wealth is due to his father's own words "I shall grant your brother the power of my wealth, but Linden you will be granted the truest power, the power to harness the arcane arts, through my teachings."
- Now fatherless and teacherless Linden Dripgale the 'fate flattered' useless wizard must claim his own path in learning the 'arcane arts'.
